I have always said no to saving my cc info when I buy items and tickets I have always said one time purchasee but over the last month I just started saying yes they can save them ugh I am changing all that now. Thank you. One of our biggest mistakes was using the same password. Once Google was hacked, it was over. We had to try to stay on top of the fires. It was crazy. We feel very blessed in all of this. We are still waiting for the phone refund. Amazon is very slow. Hope you're having a great week. 😊

I didn't get hacked, but someone had opened three bank accounts in my name. I had to go to the bank and make a police report. Thanks for sharing your story. That’s crazy. After watching your video yesterday I put the notifications and purchase alerts on both my bank card and credit card. Interesting thing is that about 30 minutes after putting on the alerts. We had a $50 purchase on Amazon. It wasn’t from us so and we had to approve or deny. So it got denied. Just one point on Two Step. Switch off your Google Two Step before resetting your phone. I did not do this last night and it caused no end of trouble. Glad you got sorted and what a great set of advice. Two Step is back on now phone is sorted.
That’s awful, but glad y’all were able to get that taken care of so quickly. It pays to be alert. I had someone get to my Kohls card through their reward program. Talk about canceling both so quickly it would make your head spin. I caught it quickly too. The vacuum cleaner hadn’t even been delivered yet. They reimbursed me, but I was hoping for a sting operation where they stacked out the delivery site and FBI’d them as it was being delivered. No such luck. Think the people just got a free vacuum from Kohls. At least I didn’t pay for it. Great tips.
That's terrible. We are like you and wanted a sting operation. They could have totally caught the guy at Walmart picking up the computer. They didn't. It's all just crazy. Hope all is well with you guys and we see you soon. Safe travels. 😊
Nothing we hate worse than a thief. Ughhh. We got our debit card hacked about 10 years ago. Somebody in OK City was using our card to buy gift cards. Luckily our bank got us our money back fast

Tara's PayPal got it last year. Fortunately the bank denied it but PayPal never would reverse it on their side. PayPal has really become useless. Speaking of which, I need to cancel mine. Sounds like a scary scary ordeal you guys have endured. I hope these ordeals are over for the both of us.

One thing i do is to use a cc thats not connected to my bank account and don't do any online banking. I dont even check my balance online. That's what i was thinking they had your email account because you should get a notification if you do a ordered. Yeah i never save my password. That local part was pretty scary. I hope they investigate that lady in the apartment. Thank you for sharing that was just stressful watching this.
two step verification sometimes can thwart would be hackers. at least you may get a text or a message that would alert you . i think hackers is why they started that two step thing/?

text alerts for transactions is a great way to monitor transactions . you get a text everytime the threshold you set is over limit.
Our threshold is set for $1. Sadly we did not have this set up before. We do now. 😁

They definitely hacked my email. They even had part of my emails going to the trash. It was crazy. Hopefully, it won't happen again. Safe travels. 😊
