I really appreciate you doing these videos. I just bought a ninja speedi and so I appreciate you showing me how to use it properly. I plan on trying this bacon and eggs recipe tomorrow morning.
Hey, thank you so much for sharing this technique, I just made bacon this morning for the first time following this and it is a game changer! The eggs were amazing as well. Cheers!
Love it. I first thought a frying pan would be easier. But this is so easy and the bacon is perfect. Going to make it for my dinner. Thanks James. Very cool.
Had another Massive Brain Fart this morning. I go through A LOT of coffee and I always save a few of those big plastic coffee "cans" for storage, canisters, etc. As I was fishing my eggs out of the bottom of the pot I thought one of those coffee "cans" would be a good place to pour the grease after it cools down. I added some newspaper to the can to blot up the grease. Works just fine-just don't pour hot grease in and melt the can! I was pondering this over a fresh plate of bacon, eggs, & toast cooked up in my Ninja thanks to you! Looking forward to try out more of your goodies! As always, Thank You Sir for sharing your time & wisdom!
Not sure how helpful this might be. I crack my eggs into a small shallow bowl and pour them from the bowl into the Speedi. That way if any small pieces of shell break off you won't have to put your fingers down in that hot grease. Or you can use a standard coffee cup instead of a bowl since there is not a lot of space to insert a bowl. Also I tried "notching" the handle of a big wooden spoon I never use to remove the hot tray. Turns out the tongs you use work much better. Thank You Sir for sharing your recipes and your time with us. You make cooking fun!
Enjoy your videos. I’m new to the Speedi and trying understand the different functions and what’s on or off on each one. I would’ve guessed for bacon and eggs you would’ve used the sear/sautee function like a skillet. What was your reasoning for Steam & Crisp since you weren’t adding water? Thanks
I finally tried this recipe this morning and it came out great. But the bacon was very crispy and done in 5 minutes so I took them out. And the fried eggs only took 3 minutes. I wonder if the shorter cooking time is because I’m at a higher elevation than you? I am at 4439 feet or 1353 meters.
Just asking, if I was wanting to say cook baked beans in a glass dish on the bottom, ( for ease of removal ) & sausages and chips on the upper level, can it do this?
I am a new subscriber to your channel, I came for Speedi advice and tips. Do I want one? I'm not quite convinced. May I ask all of you that own one and you James - I thought I was looking for an air fryer, is the speedi going to fulfill those cooking needs? The videos I've seen so far aren't using that feature, unless I'm missing that. Thank you!❤
@CookinWithJames Thank you for your superfast response. I suppose I want to use an airfryer for healthier cooking methods. I have a slow cooker and a pressure cooker. I thought an airfryer would fill that void. What do you think?
Dziękujemy.
It also works if you grill the bacon on the top and it does the potato patty’s with eggs in the bottom.

Eggs cooked perfect and bacon is always good. Thanks for this. I would not thought to cook breakfast in the Speedi.
Anytime I try to look for instructions here you are! Great job James.
Thanks 😊
Another great Speedi cook thanks for sharing the idea James! Cheers 🍻
Thank you.
Another great cook, I'm going to try that tomorrow. Thanks James, from the high country in Preskitt
Thanks for watching!
Great cook, as always. I cook bacon and eggs in my Speedi, as well, but I use the Sear/Sauté function.
Works just as good. Thanks T

Thanks. I love your comment. I appreciate it!
Try to grill the bacon on the grill it works just as well and the fat drips off , then wipe with paper towel and cook eggs in the bottom

James how did the machine steam without water in it as I believe you had it on steam and crisp. Looks great by the way
It just heats from the bottom with that function
@@CookinWithJames oh ok thank you I have ordered the Speedi and I am waiting for it to arrive and I can’t wait to try some of your great recipes
I just made a pack using this technique. Wow James I am never making bacon any other way again. Thank you.
You’re welcome! Thanks 🙏
Where are your grits or hashbrowns? 😄
Hey james, i found the answer in one of the comments. No worries. Thank you.
Btw the way, have u made yorkshire pudding from scratch before?
James, have you made egg bites in the Ninja Speedi? I would love to know how to do them and I'm curious if you have done tried them.
No. But it sounds good!
What are egg bites?
Hi James, you choose steam n crisp function. No need to add water ? Thank you
No
What surprised me was using the Steam and Crisp function, that's so cool.
I did the bacon and eggs, it came out wonderful so tasty and best part no grease all over. Yummy 😋
Wonderful!. Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated
Oh good point!
Since you have the top closed, does the bacon grease splatter up into the hood?
A little but easy to clean.
ok, I'm hungry!!!! Bet scrambled eggs would do great.
You can do scrambled eggs as well.

Yes
Did your pot go through warming stage

What do u want to air fry. It has that function but the other functions are better

James can we print off an audio version?
Sorry you can’t
Yumm
Oh ya. Thanks!
How do you cook mushrooms please for a cooked breakfast😊
Use sear and saute function on high
Hope you used a stainless steel spatula for the eggs. 😵
No. Come on. Rubber tip. Anyways. Thanks!
Did this with turkey bacon, both came out a little overcooked for my liking - but ill be trying this again at 9 minutes to see if it helps.
Thanks!
You got it. Thanks!
Cute device, but I can cook bacon and eggs faster with a pan and a microwave and it'll taste better.
