Five years back, my wife and I were on the brink of divorce because of issues in our marriage, but we found a way to fix them. It was hard, but we made it through.
Parting ways with someone you deeply care about is never easy, but in my particular circumstance, I was aided by a spiritual mentor who averted the collapse of my marriage. Her name is Suzanne Ann Walters.
This is so inspiring. Thank you both. You both have really helped me to believe God can do it for me and my prodigal husband. May He continue to bless your life and marriage. I pray my prodigal comes to Christ. He admitted when he left after 3 children and 25 yrs together, that he only became a Christian for me and not for Jesus. None of us will ever be perfect, but with God’s help, we can have an abundant life. I pray for everyone who is struggling with their marriage to seek God’s word. A lot of the comments on this thread are from people who have no understanding at all about the Kingdom of God, I’m not mad at them just shocked at how blind and carnal most people are. I'm Jewish and my exe christian Asian. She took delight in cheating on me. I got her and our Kids back to my country, then she alone returned to her country and I said the kids and I are staying here. She shortly returned and we went for counselling. That lasted one session and she took off again. In Judaism cheating is forbidden. I never cheated on her even though I had every opportunity. Family is important to me. She initiated divorce proceedings. I asked her "Is this what you really wanted to do?" She replied in the affirmative. I ensured my kids remained in touch with her and she had supervised visits at first. This was good for them. She now works in her Church which perplexes me. An adulteress on the church staff. She just divorced her second husband. Christians disgust me. I remained single focusing on our kids. I had to pay everything for them while she nothing. She also took all of our savings. This meant working three jobs. They are professionals today and have families of their own. We're close.

Hey genuine question, does the hurt or doubt still creep up? Is there a desire to ask if you’re enough now, do you get scared of it happening or do you get anxious if she’s gone, did you ask her if what she found out there was something you didn’t have (sexually), or is it something you still wouldn’t be able to provide now that the cheating has ended. I’m just trying to figure out if as a man when you have such experience and choose to stay, if the fear of it happening again stays or leaves and if you ever compare yourself to what she had out there.

What happens if your partner never got caught will they repent, what if this has been happening for the past 20 yrs in your marriage and you only find out now recently. most people who speak of forgiveness don't practice what they say. Especially preachers, they are hypocrites. It Will only take the Lords grace to help you get through this. You can't manufacture love or forgiveness. What if you stayed with someone who never loved you and then they only told now that they have made a mistake. You know we claim to love God but in thruth we don't, He is the one who does everything.
