We married in 1979. Got divorced in 1982. We were in our mid twenties then. Got back together a year later and got remarried so we are still together after 44 years. Even when we were apart we were still the main thing on each other’s minds. God brought us together and we knew it.

I first heard about your story on a podcast. I believe it was FamilyLife. Your story spoke to me so much because my wife and I also have been reunified. As we went through our reunification there still dark days. Your music and story helped me through those time. Well since then we now have two more kids ( two boys) and married happier then we could have dreamed the first years of our marriage.

Thank you both! You came to our church a few years ago in the middle of our separation. It was the perfect message at the perfect time. Through many miracles the Lord restored our marriage and we’ve been able to share our story in front of hundreds (so far). Thank you for not keeping your light hidden and showing others the way!

My husband walked away from the Lord many years ago (8yrs), we’ve been married for almost 15yrs. When he finally confessed to me when we were having a heated disagreement; it broke my heart and it’s still very difficult for me. Honestly I don’t pray for him as often because it’s so hard to remember that he was a believer. He knew the first time we met I would only date/marry a believer and now I find myself married to someone who denounced God. I feel like maybe even he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It’s hard to find intimacy with him because of this, this is more the forefront of my mind than the power of God unfortunately. He doesn’t want to leave so I pray in this moment that he could even hit rock bottom in our marriage while we are together.
This sucks so much! I thought we could get through anything because we are believers and he left me to be the spiritual leader of our home and our children. I have many brothers and sisters in Christ at church, in our group from church and many friends to help; but he is the one part that I feel isn’t there.
Your story gives me hope that one day his relationship will be on fire more than it’s ever been.

Currently Standing in my marriage, My God given husband John left in October, its been a whirlwind back and forth, tug of war situation. Today it's the longest time of no contact for 18days, God knows how my heart is aching for my spouse, but then as time goes by, I came to realized that my heartbeat should only be for Jesus. My spouse is God's business, John will be redeem, and delivered too in God's perfect timing!

Thanks for sharing your testimony. I’ve seen a few of your songs on here but just recently felt a “nudge” to check out more. I listened to your full testimony last night and honestly was surprised at how similar your story is to mine (I know every story is different but there are some unique elements to mine).
I especially resonated with what Stephanie said about the Lord dealing with her in your separation period and Chris’s story about thinking he couldn’t be “himself” without leaving Stephanie.
My husband is currently trying to legally separate from me based on those same reasonings I guess maybe the only difference is that he believes God is telling him to because he thinks he pursued me for the wrong reasons. My head has been exploding at his reasonings and I’ve had to wrestle with where his faith is really at. I was super reactionary in our first year of marriage + (based on these conclusions he’d come to and things he would say to me). It was a great reminder that the enemy can whisper things that ppl can interpret as God. It encouraged me that the Lord broke into that for Chris. I pray every day but sometimes it feels like my husband’s entanglements are too high level. Ironically-he’s become to believe the same about me and has used that to justify leaving but has also told me directly that he believe’s he has a calling he can’t do with me (which again triggers some deep things in me).
I’m honestly amazed at how God has been using this situation to heal me. There are ppl in my life who are almost flabbergasted at how well I’m doing. At the same time I feel like I’m dying and my heart is broken. I still love my husband and would love nothing more but for God to restore everything. I’d covet your prayers. Thanks for displaying hope.

I literally just ugly cried through this today. Our stories are very similar except we have 3 beautiful boys. Standing for 2.5 years so far. His divorce hasn’t been finalized yet, but even if, I am believing God of his word that he is bringing Mark home.

P.S. Steve donated a kidney to Josh last September and both are doing great! Josh asked Hannah to marry him in December and they are planning a June 1 wedding. What a journey it's been! Not at all easy but we're so thankful for this place God has brought us to. Through the wilderness to the promised land, He has been faithful. We are not the same and for that we are amazed and we praise Him.

Wow this was for me ❤
I was in a relationship with a man I have loved so much,
but unfortunatly we seperated.
Both of us were not christians at this time,
but a while after the breakup I gave my life to christ.
Me and my exboyfriend haven' t had contact.
Then I was going for a walk and suddenly
I heard in my spirit
" Forgive as the lord forgave you "
I know this was about my exboyfriend,
so I said a prayer and forgive.
A few days later my exboyfriend wrote
me on social media and I was thinking
cool 😊 I can share the gospel, but
I was not I love or imagine we will
be back togehter. After we met
I fell so deep in love but god told
me " great things take time "
He does not know anything about that
and he is not a christian yet,
but god led me to fast and pray
for him for almost 3 years know.
I think the time has come and
it won't be long now until
we are coming back together
and share our testimony ❤
Your video encouraged me so much,
also that you have said you waited for
the second marriage was something
god told me yesterday, because I thought
we should marry immidiatly 😊
