I divorced my wonderful husband in March of this year and spent about five months letting the Lord heal my heart and I called my husband in early July of this year to discover he is still in love with me. We are working on and planning on being remarried before the end of this year. I am so humbled that God would renew my heart and keep my husband's love for me. He never quit and carries his ring on his wallet. I am very excited to remarry this wonderful man. Glory to God for restoration.

I have been praying for restoration as my divorce has been final over a year. He says this will be the first year we are not together for Thanksgiving or Christmas. My children are so hurt but I have trust and faith in God he can heal people, soften hearts and repair and redeem my marriage. Some days are harder than others.

After 13 years of abuse against me, my husbad asked for a divorce two months ago. In his most honest moment (when not blaming me for his suiccide attempts, his depression, and his unhappiness) he told me "I just cant look at you without feeling guilt. So I cant look at you anymore."
Im clinging to God, despite the sorrow and anger. Praying that the years the locast ate will be restored. Praying that there will be a harvest from my sorrow.
I just want him to know the Lord. And YES, i desperately pray that will end in his change, and restoration in our marriagem but mostly I just want him to return to the faith he professed when we first got married.
Please pray for Mike. For his physical healing, for convinction of sin, and for Christ's saving power to snatch him from the jaws of death.

@@lorriesmith7054 Lorrie Smith I had to leave my husband last year when I found his rig box dropped in the back yard with needles & meth in it. Also, he became physically abusive. It's ok to separate yourself & children for protection. But don't lose hope. Your addicted husband isn't truly who he is. Drugs change people.

I keep watching your video to hold hope. My divorce has been final for almost a year. I love her more than now than I ever have my children at Hurting because they need me and cannot have me in their life as much as they need me. Unfortunately, she has a group of friends that support divorce and no reconciliation not to mention her church helped her get the divorce from me without trying to get her to do counseling or anything. I pray right now that she will realize these people are toxic and come back to me so we can finish raising our children and grow old together the way we’re supposed to. I was never perfect. I had a lot of shortcomings and made lots of mistakes. I just pray that God take the shields off her eyes, and she sees the man that loved her, and still loves her more than life itself.
That is just brutal. Must be so hard to live through that. God has plans for you too, even in the waiting. Praying for your restoration through this awful season.
I'm praying for you (Cory?). I'm in the same boat. About a year ago my wife came out as gay and asked me for a divorce. She didn't have interest in attending Christian marriage counseling. Secular counseling pretty much encourages divorce at every opportunity. Many of her friends (one being my own sister) are steeped in ideologies that promote narcissism and a kind of self worship. She read Glennon Doyle and so did I. With each page she would see a more oppressive world and realize that her "inner knowing" was telling her that God's morals were false and that they were a trick made by men and that she needed to become someone else in order to be happy. With each page I saw the woman I had built my life around slipping away. You couldn't ask for a more amicable divorce. We're still good friends. We meal-prep together every week. Recently she explained to me how she was losing trust in the Bible because it was written by humans with agendas and she couldn't fathom that Christianity had more credibility than Islam. But, thin of a hope as it is, she at least assured me that she still believes that Jesus died to pay for our sins (I don't quite understand how those add up either). I barely slept that night. I thought that rock-bottom was the woman I love leaving me. Rock-bottom for me was seeing my wife turn away from God whether she's realizing it or not...
But here's where the cool part starts man. The next morning, after my horrible sleep, I woke up still wrecked to my core. I frantically started searching for Biblical answers and apologetics that would, as I though, surely stop her dead in her tracks and bring her back to God (mind you that it certainly does not work like that often). Well, not only did I find at least partial answers to a lot of her questions that I couldn't answer before, but started find answers to Biblical questions and neglected areas of my faith that I wasn't even aware I had. It might sound crazy. It definitely felt crazy. But for several days now God has really been doing some incredible work on me. For the first time I'm feeling genuinely hungry for scripture. Each day He's taking away more of the the pain in me and helping me to think more like him. I grew up in church and thinking that I've been living by faith and maybe I have been, but the immense changes in my thoughts and my desires have made me wonder if that's the case. I've had my fair share of guilt-ridden prayer sessions in the past- crying on the floor at night and begging God to change me. But this feels like the other end of that. This time I am feeling God effect changes on me and satan seems like the one crying on the floor. That part definitely seems apparent. My temptations have been going crazy. It feels like every where I look there's something agitating, a reason I might normally curse, items to idolize, or a woman to lust after. But I feel also like God just keeps providing me with the grace I desperately need to overcome them and little-by-little my desires are turning toward God.
Now, I know you're probably thinking "well that's all fine and dandy, but I want my wife back". Me too. I (in all of my infinite wisdom. lol.) can't promise you that that will be the case for either of us. But I can promise this (and it's gonna be one you've probably already heard). If you need to get right with God- if there's a part of you that you're holding onto and thinking "God, I'm gonna give this up it's just so difficult" but you haven't, then your wife could walk up to you and take you back right now and you still wouldn't feel complete. Don't get me wrong, that would be fantastic! But even our marriages can't fill a God-shaped hole. That's also not to say that you need to figure out the whole of God's mind and become a pastor before reconciliation or moving on are viable. All I can say is that ripping everything else away and being pulled lower than what I thought was rock-bottom is the only thing in a long time to have made me desperate enough to truly give the reigns over to God to make a breakthrough like this in my relationship with Him, and as horribly and indescribably painful as this has been, I think it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me because of the closeness it has given me with Christ.
I'm still crushed. I still hope for my wife to be reconciled to God and to our marriage. I'm still terrified by the possibility that those things may never come to pass. But whether she comes back to me or time passes and God sends someone else into my life or I grow old on my own and pass from this world on my own, my fulfilment in all things comes from God alone. Her salvation is between her and God and his will has already been done and it is good. My worrying can't change it, so it only makes sense to give it to God and have faith. Cory (if that is your name *accusatory tone*;), I pray that you and I can find satisfaction and completion in God, that you be reunited with your kids, that our wives will be reconciled if it is God's will, that God will grant us ample grace if it isn't, and that We would ultimately commit ourselves to seeking Him first above anything else in life. Thanks I needed that, I wonder why couldnt my marriage be saved or why dont my ex wife want me as her husband its just hard to not be wanted and then left with a choice of as my ex wife emails me and said "Of course I feel for the kids. In a perfect world every child should have one home with a mother and father. But this is not that perfect world. But the kids still have 2 parents that love them. You can still be involved in everything. I could have really used another set of hands at soccer. You are welcome at any and all events we go to. You are not alone in this. You have me and the kids. Maybe not living together, but the support is still there. When you have to move you should consider moving closer to your job. There are great school, neighborhoods, and the drive is great. You should really consider it. "" its hard im just to sad, 10 years down the drain, and people say its of grieve your still a family. But why my family god why my family has to be broken out of all the trillion people in the world..

Just cling to God and believe the promises in his word that he will never leave you. He is for you and will sustain you!

Out of the Dust Music OFFICIAL my Husband walked out when I was pregnant with our 6th child. He states Jesus is no longer his LORD and Saviour and is with another mans wife... l was crushed. Such a huge story... but God has promised He will bring him home. lt's been over 3 years now, he has divorced me... and l am waiting and praising God that even through this excruciating journey God has remained faithful. Trusting Him (learning to!) has been my experience and it's not always easy!! But the peace that comes when l do is sweet now.

My Christian hubby divorced me last month. It was his 3rd marriage and my 2nd. But im believing for restoration. But he just wants to be friends. Nothing ever happened. His reason was he married the wrong woman (me). But we were equally yoked and got all great. Bible studies and all. I feel he’s been deceived by the enemy but he says he never loved me & never should’ve been in a relationship. I need prayer & Godly counsel. He loves being alone I hate it.
