    I got that stud finder from amazon the other day that you'd tested out... had to fit a handrail on a staircase for the inlaws... turned up and realised they were both on stud walls.... really impressed with it! Found all the studs to be able to get a good fixing and no holes to fill in! Much appreciated nick! Hope you're well!

      Forgive my ignorance but wouldn't that mean the light runs all the time given that it's an emergency fitting? All the fittings I've ever put in wouldn't turn off but could be different country different fittings

      @@jordankramer6475 no. The emergency lighting turns on when the power turns off. It runs on a battery

      @@jordankramer6475 No. The power to emergency lighting is only on an emergency test switch. So the power is always on until a power cut.

    Top tip to reduce the flicker: you can create another video channel above this one with 50% transparancy (sound off) and push it forward a few frames. It adds a little ghosting but removes the flicker.

    You can get the mounting plates for the inline 221 connectors to achieve the same effect you were seeking to enable the extension of cables.

    looking through nearly all of the comments I am surprised how many people did not like the ending of this video, why ? , it was only a bit of fun , it made a plain and simple video into something much more interesting ,I do not have a problem with it at all. Keep up the good work Nick and keep posting ,click bait or not its still good viewing I think .

    Hi Nick, I had a similar job several months ago I went to my wholesalers and seen the wiska box din rail you have used in this video. I was going to use it then I thought it made from fire proof plastic. I decided to use wago connections and a metal junction box, driiled hole used crimp into body and earthed to new consumer unit. My reason for my method was due to us now fitting metal consumer units for fire protection, now and if I used the wiska din rail as you have then isn't it just a plastic consumer unit with out MCB's ,isolators etc. Just wondered what you thought and by the way live the vids

      A junction box does not contain equipment that's "arcing and sparking" in normal operation (switches).

    Would the wiska modules have fitted the other way round on the DIN Rail? Would have thought that would have given more space for cabling

    With those long fly leads on the rcbo's, are you not tempted to just cut them to a realistic length and re-ferrule them so it's not filling the board with unnecessary cable?

    Love your videos bro by the way any ideas why a 9kw three phase tanning bed cant be ran off home electrics (1920s build)? I know convertors are available but everyones refused it saying will blow the electrics thanks

    Are the green and yellow din rail connectors isolated from the din rail?, din rail connectors I've bought before, the green and yellow ones earthed together through the din rail, which messes with you test readings.

    The din rail in that enclosure looks off centre? Could you turn it upside down to give more room on the lever side of the wagos?

      @@NBundyElectrical I’ve had bother with my new GoPro10 and it worked for me setting to anti flicker “Pal 50hz” and we’ve got plenty of LED lights in our showroom 😉 keep up the quality content 👍

    I like the moving kit.The only thing that would concern me a little is ..are the earthing wagos the same as din rail earth connectors in that they all become common once mounted on the rail so fuck up your testing results?(edit just spotted comment already there)And are the RCD switches not supposed to be at accessable height?

    ha ha! Glad you didn't get knocked, Nick! I used to dress the neutral supply leads until I spoke with someone from Contactum who said cut them to the length you need and crimp a ferrule on. No issue with the warranty should you need to use it.

    BTW when using DIN rail terminals to extend circuits, DIN rail earth terminals normally connect electrically to the DIN rail.
    That isn't normally a problem per-se, but it's something to be aware of when testing and interpreting test results.

    Them easy 9 boards are good but trying to swap an rcbo out is a nightmare, you have to drop the full busbar out to do it

    Great job Nick and Adam. I believe the reason for the levers on one side only is so that the load side can be attached and removed for testing. Load side under levers. Cheers from Aurora, Colorado.

    Control panel terminal blocks are just like the wago blocks. You should be able to buy the end plates separately

    So the relocation box only takes 10 cables ? Seems very small . Cant imagine that working for most boards especially if more than one ring . Also its a plastic box i assume yet we have to use metal CUs? When Wago start doing CUs ill be all in on that !

      It's common knowledge, that a Mechanics car is the worst car on the road. Because they know what the bare minimum is to keep it running and nothing more. I know for a fact the same for Sparkies.. My dad is now a retired sparkie and the electrics in that house I swear are older then HIM

    If you mounted the terminals the other way you have more access for the lever side
