Despite the extra weight of the multiple retract systems, this beauty is clearly a lightweight and well balanced model. Well done! I can recommend assigning the throttles to separate channels and mixing with rudder. Activate with a switch for steering on the water. Worked a treat on my Pettigrew designed Sunderland.
Amazing plane!!! Seeing videos like this makes me want to get airborne with my RC hobby. However, I break enough parts with my rock crawlers on the ground at 5mph, going airborne would likely bankrupt me.
I flew rc planes for over 15 years, and I had a hangar full of 21 planes, eighteen of which I hae never flown, because I was afraid of crashing. I had some really expensive planes too. I had ten that were over a 100 inch wingspan. I quit, sold everything and now I am building rc tugboatsm. Much slower, and no danger of crashing one.
Great videos ... just a quick question ... with all the new regulations in the UK ... where can we fly in the midlands UK ... I use to fly 3 meter gliders ... but you don't see any RC flying any more 😢

Nice to see it set up properly floating on the hull and not tripoding on the tip floats.
Cool, mine would have to be made up to look like the one that spotted the Bismarck, and I’m an American.
Next time out, he'll have a retractable keel, rudder, and screw.
👍
This is my favorite rc planes. I love the retractable floats and gear. Can anyone tell me who sells this plane ?
Was this a kit? An ARF? or scratch built?
You weren't listening in class, try 0:20.
Differential thrust?

Schönes Flugzeug, leider unerfahrener Pilot beim Landen!!
Love the wing tip floats retracting and the retract landing gear.... Flies nice and Scale slow.
Too bad for the hard landing motor problem.
