    Sincere congratulations for your intelligent and clever design! Most Plunge saws are too expensive, and transforming an inexpensive circular saw was very convenient. Please could you tell us exactly which extension neumatic part did you use to lift the saw? Best wishes from Mexico.

    • @carpentak
      @carpentak  3 года назад +2

      I don't know exactly what the little shock is, but if you're talking about a gas shovel for furniture, buy it online. In Korea, everything can be obtained through online shopping.

    This is a great idea, and would like to make one, what are the glues you used to attach the hose connection and the wood to the circular saw? Thank you.

    • @carpentak
      @carpentak  2 года назад

      The glue that attaches the wood is Mighty Putty, a solid glue, and the hose connection is made of silicone for construction. thank you.

    Nice, although I would likely buy a used saw to alter instead of a nice saw.

  • @kdietz65
    @kdietz65 Год назад

    It would be nice to organize the videos into a complete "bootstrapping your workshop" series with minimal tools. Maybe it goes something like this ...
    1) First, buy a circular saw and a drill
    2) Use your circular saw to build a workbench
    3) Build a simple cross cut jig and stop blocks to use your workbench and circular saw as a miter bench (I'm trying to avoid buying a miter saw)
    4) Use your miter bench to build a plunge saw / track guide
    5) Buy a compact table saw
    6) Use your table saw, miter bench, and plunge saw to build a mobile base for your table saw
    7) Build a fence extension
    8) Build a cross cut sled
    9) Etc. Etc.
    Your videos aren't that far from that except you use a lot of extra tools and you use a miter saw too.

    Tell me, friend, what are the holes in the guide rail for?

    • @carpentak
      @carpentak  2 года назад

      The role of the hole is to mark the cutting line on the material and to see the line well when installing the rail and make it easy to set.
