Not sure if you remember me, couple months ago was asking for help with choosing an exhaust. Ended up going with the exact same one you had, sounds fucking sweet. So glad you make informational videos on your VT, helps me out alot :)
Yea I don’t have tips on it, and I’m pretty sure it makes no difference having them or not. if it does it would most likely marginal. But I could be wrong as I’m not 100% sure.
just used an app to test the decibel of it so it could be abit shit at reading decibel. But with my x-force extractors included in this, starting the car it was 104 DB but it averaged around 89-91 DB while idling. that was with my phone placed right under the exhaust.
Are you using old exhaust hangers because they tend to sag over time, if not feel free to send a photo of it on my insta so i could have a look if you'd like. insta is in description.
@@heroicpastle4654 i haven't been pulled over for it, even had police behind me and I floored it so it was loud as it could go and didn't have a problem, but I would avoid doing that near the police so it doesn't give them a reason to pull you over.
could try this listing on ebay www.ebay.com.au/itm/221822111463. they also have a website but if you do it on ebay they have a good customer support if anything goes wrong if they send faulty part or anything like that. ebay also says theres a code to make it 174$ not sure if its a deal for everyone or for just me but here you can use the discount code : SEOFYPA
@@dismissedtub6717 cheers for the reply, I did end up finding another one with just a single muffler instead of resonator, as the eBay one was $250 postage lol
It has changed the way it sounds. i have stainless steel x-force extractors which has made it abit rasper. you do lose the pops when reving, but in my opion i like it better as it sounds better when driving, which is what you do more then reving the car.
I really want this one, but I may get the one with a rear muffler centre hotdog just because I don’t want to be defected, what do you think? Have you had any trouble with police?
I havent had any trouble from the police about the noise level of it and i have had it on the car for like 11 months now, its even had extractors put on it. The only thing i have been pulled over for was ride height but they were kind and let me off with a warning.
@@dismissedtub6717 yeah that’s true as well. I’ve got a hilux with a 3inch turbo back that dumps under the front seat and only notice how loud it is when someone says something about it haha. Picking up a vx. I ordered a cat back with a hotdog & muffler for the vx
Yes in this video it was just a catback that’s listed in the description. But now I have headers x-force headers welded to the stock cat now for shit and gigs
@kbgaming6012 yea it dosnt pop as much when reving but sounds nice when actually driving, it does do a trumpet effect when going from 0-70 as the revs get higher

there is a little bit of drone but I actually like it, so that could mean it drones abit for other people but I don't really mind/notice it.

Will fit vz?
From memory I don't think so as the vz has the 3.6L engine so I think it has dual catalytic converter instead of the single one that I have on my vt
it would fit on a vz ay ik they are all 3.8 n the vz is 3.6 n newer was looking at getting one didnt know if it would fit tho
bit late but wont fit, 3.8's usually come wiht a single cat whereas 3.6's come with dual cats, so they run different mid pipes
Does it pop and crackle?
it does if you drop her into second gear around 60ks but its not very loud.
@@dismissedtub6717 do that then go into first at 40 she’ll pop real loud
