    In the Near Future there's gonna be a dude who will create a single blueprint of a mega factory that processes every know node and material. Basically a one click Game Over. The build animation would be epic, just click sit back and watch as the mega factory builds itself. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.

      "Standard Mall" Factorio style. Yep.
      Anyway I feel this 'feature' is about to get deleted real quick in next update of Satisfactory experimental. Alternatively Coffee Stain just gives up on trying to restrict the blueprint sizes.

      Technically he/she could successfully make it maybe if he/she takes care in the copying part. But that's where the difficulty will come in because the placing of a finished full factory blueprint, most definitely won't succeed. That would overload the buffer which would give you a game error every single time. The game can't handle that amount of backed up instruction sets, that would be required to build a single factory with everything in it in 1 go.

      @@kalpa6666 Or they just let you put multiple BP designers together to do bigger bluepriints - for each tier you go about the first one (4?) you can add size. Starts at 1x1, then 2x2 etc.

      You can just make multiple blueprints and place them all together. The only downside is you have to connect everything between the blueprints.

      Yes. and we need to somehow give feedback to the developers together
      my previous comment (sorry for the translation):
      "they MUST add stackable blueprint designers . they have to. people using mods or bugs just to save time. The philosophy of the game is to give the user satisfaction from the process. There is no satisfaction in doing routine manual work for hours. someone write to them. I've been playing recently, and before this video I had a desire to install mods and thereby spoil the atmosphere of the game a little. There is nothing more absurd than to waste your personal life and free time on routine tasks in a game about automation. When I first heard about recipes in this game, I was SURE that in these recipes you could store entire versions of ready-made factories, improve them, optimize them"

    Cool bug but at this point might aswell use a mod to get bigger blueprint designers. Also the placements required to make this work it seems like building an actually factory would just be faster and easier with smaller modular blueprints

      You're overestimating the amount of programming they're doing. They just have some collision volumes set up on the edges of the blueprint designer by the looks of it.

    • @pabloredondo5099
      @pabloredondo5099 2 месяца назад

      I believe is more complicated than that, the key part of the blueprints is that every piece has an "entity" that belongs to and can reference to it. But the blueprint itself doesn't care if anything inside is deleted, or if there is 1 or 500 objects inside. While this has advantages like having simpler control and less information needed on memory, there is unexpected exceptions like this one that will most likely need a "hardcode" fix

      @@riccoswahveh3165 I don't see what the big deal is. I've built my factories piece by piece by piece long before blueprints were ever considered, and I enjoyed any minute of it! I like the build tools and their operability more than I do the blueprint at least within Satisfactory due to the nature, view and feel of the game. Now, as for games like Factorio or Dyson Sphere, they're a bit different due to their view, scale, and how many more buildings that are required. With Satisfactory being a full 3D world with many areas to explore with various resource nodes all over the place, I like to build into the terrain and go from there, then use a train network to bridge the gaps. I do build a few roads but that's only for me personally driving from one side of the map to the other. I haven't really used the truck stations that much. I mostly stuck with belts and trains, well and pipes too. Every piece hand laid and oriented, and pure vanilla, no mods to scale or rotate models in ways that you wouldn't normally see them. I've been playing since the end of Update 3 into the beginning of Update 4.

    I personally like the constraints of the blueprint. It gives me an extra little challenge to try and cram everything I need to into a 4x4 box.

      As someone who no longer frequents satisfactory, coming from a time before the blueprints were in the game: I sure hope they don’t patch it. The whole game is about you doing front end work to make your future self have an easier time. This is totally in that spirit

  • @problemchild959
    @problemchild959 10 месяцев назад +2

    I don’t see this being patched. Mods already have proven that 4x4 is not the limit of the blueprint designer. There are mods that give you a designer that’s 3 times the size of the vanilla one so it was clearly just the devs making it that small. I seriously foresee them making it better in time. Besides they usually don’t patch what they call creative use of bugs anyhow. Look at the human cannon with the hyper tubes, that only stopped working due to a complete overhaul of the physics engine in UE5 it wasn’t the devs.
