Do you have any PVP tips??

I have something, not sure if it's an actual tip. Could you try out a PVP set that focuses on head-to-heads? I admittedly don't have a switch to play stories 2 on, but I still love watching you guys. So my plan for end-game pvp would be grimclaw being absolutely stacked with head to head genes, kinship buff genes, and my party would include velkana only because she can skill seal. Doing that would force the enemy to do head-to-heads, therefore the build you have would just tear them apart.
Been using Plesioth SnS on Dreadqueen set with a Black Gravios as my main attacker. If I do happen to get the sleep on the monster from a HtH, Gravios can begin charging spread beam which just OHKOs anything clean as long as Tenacity has already been proc'd. Harmony XL helps it use most of its skills way earlier, while my charm is a god charm of showdown XL and Soul Kinship XL, so I'm capable of being a generator on my rider while Gravios enjoys free skill points. Fire Fluid Mucus helps it beat out Bloodbath's strongest options, fire breath from Azure is there to win the HtH's vs Nerg and Teo's most common abilities. Gotta find a spot to run Panacea XL just in case. Really happy with how it's performed though. It has supernova as a desperation move but honestly charged spread beam does the job better and is less predictable. Valiant flare boosts its fire strength and already high defenses incredibly high, letting fire fluid mucus nab OHKOs if he wins the HtH follow up. I honestly think the buff moves are underrated, valiant flare from Pink Rathian especially. Bonus is that all of this Gravios moves inflict burn one way or another, which while not the greatest status, is still good chip and can sometimes decide whether a monster lives on a sliver, or a heart is taken.
Appreciate the pvp guide even if I’ll remain a casul as it seems pvp is completely optional, maybe if my friends get the game i’ll put this into use, appreciate the short guide, you and TwoSix and Arekkz have been put to work on this game lol
I absolutely love your videos! They have helped me progress through the whole game and now that story is complete, I feel like I’m finding all your PVP videos as a great help and not discovering PVP myself! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!! :) glad to help!
You should try the Skill from Ruby Basarios which deals medium non elemental damage to all enemies and has a medium chance to sleep all enemies until the end of the round. This skill is pretty much broken in PVP. You'll get 2 free Attacks every turn if your monster goes first and the enemy cant do anything about it if you keep hitting the sleep.
im planning on making a status silverwind narga with that one and savage roar so it can cycle between different CC skills and types, im also gonna put dancer on it so it should always go first with the speed buff. i dont know what im going to use as a weapon with that build, but probably something extremely good at recovery and with kinship so when i do take damage i can just heal it back up
Yep love to see more battles as well looks so fun
Love to see more of these kind of builds. Should be super fun.
Any chance you can do a video on a full pvp team set up, instead of just indivitual monster/ rider setups?
I like your beard:D
It's all I can grow so I'm glad you like it xD
Paradise I found 2 super rare dens within twenty minutes the other day while I was looking for self heal XL for my nerg
Your so lucky!
@@ParadiseCentral I found another one while looking for more self heal
Have you considered hammer's status chaser move? The motion value on it is insanely high
As a fellow abuser of status knives in pvp, I believe shrouded nerscylla armor is a better fit than dreadqueen. Panacea, evasion, and inflict rate XL are near perfect skills.
Thanks for the tip.
How to farm P. Gypceros for upgrading sieglinde rose materials?
Is there an Item Saver armor worth using with the Knife item set? Having more of them sounds like it would be good. Maybe:
Pukei-Pukei Armor+
Inflict Rate Up (XL)
Item Saver (L)
Antivenom (XL)
or
Fulgur Anja Armor+
Item Saver (XL)
Weak Point (L)
Thunder Boost (M)
Good to know i have been doing it right ever since I fought dreadqueen
Hi sorry for random question, does hatching stats (the +2 +3 thing when egg hatched) scales with monstie stats later on ? Or its just a flat bonus until lv 99 like atk 500 and 503 like that ?
Flat.
YOOOO para can you do an op build video for stigian zinogre????
Is grimclaw a good monster to use I know he’s a deviant but does he have meta or good stats
I'd honestly like to know how active the PvP is on Switch cause i'm wondering if it's more active than PC.
I have a question, does skill stack? I've been using dreadqueen armor and recently I found a Hounding XL + Sonorous L talisman but I'm not sure if it is worth using it alongside the armor.
No
Is panacea 100% or still a chance?
Does armor crit xl and Charme crit xl Stack ? Does anyone know this?
Correct me if I didn’t understand it right. How do you compare this pvp to Pokémon? I feel like Pokémon pvp has better diversity in competition. any monstie can have any gene in the game, right? Let say, I could just have pukei pukei who has the exact same skills /gene as negigante? So what is the point of using monsties with unique skills in PVP? Like nerscylla has a lot of status related genes, but I could also build a better monsties with all nerscylla genes. I could use monsties with the best stats and slap them it best genes. Whereas in Pokémon, some weaker stats Pokémons may have unique skills / moves / abilities so they have roles in competitive.
Basically them removing the element change of monsters has limited the endgame potential of the pvp scene
The thing is that with the gene system you can make any monstie good. I've clapped some noobs in stories 1 using kecha wacha and barroth, it's so funny. And being able to give other monsties different skills will always make them unique
@@ParadiseCentral that could make pvp so much better and more interesting too. Or they could have each monstie has some sort of unique skills that can’t be transferred. Anyways, the PVE is so much fun compared to Pokémon honestly. But Pokémon is still the best in competitive scenes. I guess. Still, I like them both. I just wish this game has a better pvp system.
Simple, your player holds a giant sword with armor made from dragon parts > player in shirt and jeans holding a ball
Tbh, most people play this game for PvE only. If you want PvP action, there are many other games which provide a better experience. There's barely anyone doing PvP in MHS2, on the wkend I only see 1-2 open lobbies.
Do u have guide where i can find the seighinde rose materials
i wanana max it and i cant fond the material anywhere
That's the toxicity of pvp radiating off of you, not the webcam acting up
Lololol
Oh no... I was hoping it wouldn't be a status war, RNG is not fun.
Pvp videos against other players online please
Somehow people are level 99 how like yeah they might play like 24seven but surely most people do here as well
I got the game on release, however work and family responsibilities have me ocupied. Im in kuan village dreaming with endgame and pvp u.u
