I’ve owned the standard blue and while it was nice, I did prefer the black dial in the end. So between these, definitely the 75th anniversary version. Great vid as ever thanks Brad!
I have the white dial, and recently received the new summer blue edition from my wife for Christmas it’s absolutely gorgeous on wrist and the choice for me
I do like the clear crystal back, but I think the solid always looks more premium and solid. I have the black Seamaster 300 on the bracelet and would prefer it came with a solid back like the anniversary addition. Not a deal breaker by any means, but simply prefer the solid back. Always seems to be a higher quality look IMO.
I voted with my wallet, and bought the Summer Blue on bracelet. And to confirm, the rubber strap is the same. I had my AD order a rubber strap for mine and he confirmed it was the same as the traditional blue. As always, great review Brad!! Thanks!
Hi I got mine on bracelet and am thinking of ordering rubber strap.. do you prefer it better on rubber strap for past 10 months? Or should I keep it on bracelet? I’m a 103 kg big dude and the heft on bracelet doesn’t really bother me.. thinking aesthetically which do u prefer …
I really like the summer blue but feel like after a while, I'd grow tired of it. The black seamaster is timeless, and standard blue is the classic color for seamaster.
I got the 75th Ed Omega Seamaster Diver 300 Mtrs Watch ⌚- Summer Blue Ed-Love the Color!! Saw it Online,& ,yah, it looks alot better in person. The Outer Dark Blue to light Blue in the middle of the Watch ⌚ really stood out!! Definitely picked it Over the Standard Blue Ed One w/ Red writing. I do like the back of the transparent back better,to see the 8800 Co-Axial Mvmt, instead of Poseidon,& that was a sticking pt for me for awhile deciding between the 2 Watches ⌚. But ultimately, would cont to regret it if i didn't get the Summer Blue Dial & i thought, not too many peo see the back. I guess if this was ur 2nd or 3rd + Watch in a collection,u prefer a diff back Case, but, this was My 1st Omega & i don't know when ill get another but definitely will have the transparent Case Back next time. Also wanted a Metal Bracelet, I prefer that,so it was 400$ more for that than over the Silicone/ Rubber Band, but ,it looks more stylish & formal w/ the Bracelet,i think, than the Silicone Band, which to me, I think might cheapen the Watch after spending the price on the Summer Blue Dial etc -& i do enjoy the unique/ diff 5- Link bracelet, better than the basic Rolex one Good On Ya Matey' 🤠👍⌚
I love contrast. The summer blue version looks as if someone left a blue protection sticker on the glass. So for me, the original version wins hands down.
I love the look of the summer blue, but what I have noticed in many videos that in certain light the dial gets washed out and I feel I would have to be turning and tilting my wrist to see the time. That would be a pain. Also I found one guy who said that they found the solid case back over time was uncomfortable to wear. Not sure if this is true.
Summer blue here also but as expected the colored lume (blue tinted) material is weaker which is a let down on summer blue edition wish it was as strong as the regular blue .
I do like the Summer Blue, and that's what I would get for myself (great color, fantastic caseback)-but I actually thought the standard blue looked better on your wrist. Not sure why, but that's how it struck me. I don't mind the rubber strap, but would prefer a deployment clasp-does Omega offer those on its rubber straps? Couldn't help but notice those dandy Omega gloves!
Yes. You can order a deployant and strap, two different part #s. Current price for both IIRC is around $550 USD The deployant clasp won't work on the strap made for the pin buckle clasp.
Hi Brad, I like both of these, but could I choose the Summer Blue wirh a display case back? The standard case back would of course be included in the deal... If that's not possible I'd go for the standard model. But I'm splitting hairs really, they're both great. 🙂
The 75th Anniversary Edition 300m is by far the most visually interesting of the two and possibly the most stunning of all of the 300m models Omega have ever produced! And I agree with you on the case back! I have a black 8900 liquid metal bezel Planet Ocean with an exhibition case back. Although the exhibition case back is nice showing off the beautiful movement, the hippocampus with God, Poseidon is stunning- and I would choose it over seeing the movement!
After watching tons of videos I didn't think much of the Summer Blue dial. But then I found it at a shop and tried it on and now I am obsessed with getting it one day. I love the original Seamaster 300M but it's way out of my price range so I have to find a way to get me one. But after trying on the 75th anniversary, that's the one I will get. I hope since it's limited I will be able to get it still around retail price when I can finally gather enough to get one.
Pity they put the steel case back on the Summer Blue, people want to see the visible movement surely, what a strange thing to do which will lose them sales. As a result I’d skip these and get the green model.
Never understand a dive watch with skeleton hands. The minute hand is vital for a dive watch , life or death. Form over function which doesn't work on that front either as the broad arrow hand looks a million times better anyway

$400 extra for a solid cafe back?? Lol!?! No one dress the case back!! Not even the starter till the watch is off. You don't even know what brand the watch is to your within a for 6 and a half... If the face.... Hour is the way to go . If this is indeed first five 5 watch imho
I dont like the poseidon on the back and im greek on top of that. Looks kind of satanic. Please someone call me an idiot and convince me otherwise cause i really like this new seamaster. Lol
75th all day. The gradient does it for me as does the blue numerals and markers. They knocked the 75th series out of the park. Especially the PO.
I’ve owned the standard blue and while it was nice, I did prefer the black dial in the end. So between these, definitely the 75th anniversary version. Great vid as ever thanks Brad!
Thanks for viewing!
Anniversary edition but I wish they had keep the exhibition case back.
I have the white dial, and recently received the new summer blue edition from my wife for Christmas it’s absolutely gorgeous on wrist and the choice for me

@@brentmillertime8778 Thank you Brent. Keep up the great content.
Correct answer is *both*
Standard blue for me if pressed, but by a very small margin.
I purchased a 300 summer blue 2 month ago. BEAUTIFUL watch.
The dial is something else.
Congrats, enjoy wearing it!
Same here but my only complaint is that its lume isn't as "strong" or bright as other 300m models
@@xtrocious only seamaster I've ever owned. Mine seems to glow pretty well.
But I'll never be taking it into the depths as I can't swim😆

Standard blue for me. Not a fan of the hr indices on the 75th with the blue tone nor the dial which has a metallic look to it in the centre
I'd go for the standard blue dial. I'm in this position with the planet ocean 39.5, I need to see them side by side in the metal.
I voted with my wallet, and bought the Summer Blue on bracelet. And to confirm, the rubber strap is the same. I had my AD order a rubber strap for mine and he confirmed it was the same as the traditional blue. As always, great review Brad!! Thanks!
congrats, i like the summer blue more too
Hey Scott, how does the dial look in sunlight? Is it a brighter blue or does it look more dark blue?
@@IrishScribbler It's definitely more of a brighter blue, rather than dark blue.
I'm buying mine on rubber and ordering the steel bracelet today, can't wait for this

The standard blue looks better

Most emphatically the standard. I’m not a fan of the iridescence of the 75th dial

Haven't heard that about the caseback but probably subjective to the owner's experience.

Cracking watch. Omega really do make a great Seamaster
Omega makes the best seamaster

You are correct on all. I just quoted someone and the strap was $270 and the clasp was $270. It would be nice if you could buy them on the deployants.

Tend to agree, they do look better in person.
The 75 looks great. But why oh why is there no naiad lock?

good vidéo again, this blue Omega watch are beautiful
Never understand a dive watch with skeleton hands. The minute hand is vital for a dive watch , life or death. Form over function which doesn't work on that front either as the broad arrow hand looks a million times better anyway
Just got the standard with a bracelet, best blue dial diver IMHO, would pay more if it was the most expensive of the two, lucky me it isn't.
Only thing I don’t like about the summer blue is the Omega logo disappears in certain light and angles. Otherwise I’d have summer blue

The 75 one definitely
Which one has a transparent back case? That is the one I prefer.
Anniversary edition wins for sure
I love the white contrast personality
for SMP300, the regular version looks better
planet ocean on the other hand...
is the summer blue bezel the same blue as the standard blue bezel?
From memory at the moment no.
Summer blue all day.
Left with red seconds hand baby
Sure the left one. SUNBURST ☀️☀️☀️☀️
Summer blue for me....cos I have them all already.😂
Are the crown guard on the newer seamaster smaller?
They appeared to be the exact same on these models.

Dont like the lighter blue looks cheap.
Does either of them still look turquoise blue when outdoors like my 2019 model did?
Hmm, haven't had either of them outside the store but can't say I've seen turquoise in them inside.
