My Number 1 is The Seamaster NTTD. It is truly unique with its retro vintage cool looks. Easily functions as an everyday watch. Love mine especially on the titanium Milanese bracelet. It’s unbelievably comfortable.
I could have bought one of these about 13 years ago but bought the Seamaster 300 with the sword hands instead as I didn’t like the skeleton hands. I still have it today and it is a keeper. Last year I bought the new white dial because although it has skeleton hands the contrast of the black hands against the white face makes it very easy to read. Extremely accurate, it is my daily.
I own the blue on blue version. Bought it two years ago. Still love it. Had my eye on the quartz version back in the early 1990’s. Couldn’t afford it then. But once I was able to afford it, it was my first choice. Have both the bracelet and the rubber strap.
I'm with you on the blue. Wore my 90's 41 with the eta yesterday. Beautifully thin and elegant but still strong. Back then it was an easy choice for me over the Sub. Now? The Omega is amazing, beautiful, massively capable... but you don't forget it's there like you do with a Rolex. But!? Who says you want to forget? Can't ever lose going Omega. I've got like 6 I want....The NTTD is gorgeous in person.
I’ve had four Seamasters so far. The old school 2531.80 Bond watch, the Peter Blake 2254.50, the current blue ceramic wave dial, and the white dial. Only kept the Peter Blake (2254.50) and the white dial. To me they’re the best mix of old and new. I love the sword hands on the 2254.50, and the white dial model is so unique in the current lineup. Can’t go wrong with any of them though, they’re fantastic watches
Watching this as i wear the blue on the rubber strap. I love it and think it looks amazing. Only thing is the blue strap doesn’t go with everything. Thats when i put the bracelet on but sometimes wonder if i should have gone with black for that versatility. But i don’t think i could ever give this watch up, it looks too dang cool!
Great Video. I own the blue dail and l love it ❤ everyone needs a Omega Seamaster 300 in there collection. Going to add a DOXA 200 Orange dail bracelet next for everyday wear
I have had the SMP two tone Black and Sedna Gold on rubber strap. Absolutely love it and a very underrated watch. Most everyone is surprised how great it looks on wrist when they try it on. Any flavor of this watch is great!
All great watches. I personally chose the white as my first Omega purchase because it seemed the next logical step in my watch journey and despite appreciating it, i found myself barely wearing it. Just seemed a little boring so upgraded for my PO orange/white. Fits my personality being fun and rugged yet a little classy at the same time.
@@eyeheartsushi2212 IMO the PO is just a better watch, fit an finish. You’d think the specs on paper would suggest it’s way to big but it actually wears around a 42 and more comfortable with the tapering bracelet. Definitely recommend trying one on 👍
@@SkilfulLeader1 Thanks. I actually did try one on and liked how it looked and how it wore on my wrist, but then my mind went to the white dial SMP. I’ll definitely try both of them again although I suspect the PO will win because like you, I like some color and fun in my watch collection.
@@eyeheartsushi2212 yeah I get that as went straight for the white but it actually wore of quickly! I see the value and build quality in the PO, plus like you’ve said I’m drawn to a different colour way and completely enjoy it.👍
I own the SM300 Nekton. I almost went with the white/black, but the Nekton has no date and a relief titanium bezel. The titanium bezel makes the watch look smaller, plus you don’t see then out in the wild very often versus the other colors and versions.
2020 Tokyo Olympic LE blends the amazing blue hands and blue ceramic bezel with that clean white dial. I think it's by far the best combo, it's too bad it was a LE. Great Video!
I have owned 3 in total. I think they are amazing. However, I prefer variations that are less popular. I have the 43.5mm no date black ceramic and Titanium. Simply beautiful!
The SMP would be completely perfect if they reduced the size by 1 or 2mm and upgraded the bracelet to look less 90's and have a nice taper.. just like the latest Speedmaster bracelets
When I bought my blue I was 100% certain, but then I saw the B&W I did a double take. I still settled on the blue, but seeing the B&W in the flesh made me doubt myself.
My favourite watch! I own the original 41mm Bond Seamaster Professional 300M quartz (Reference 2541.80.00), and it still looks modern and stunning. I bought this model as it was all I could afford at the time, but I will never part with it. Thanks for the video, Bruce.
i have the white dial variant. I absolutely love it. I have both the deployant rubber strap and the bracelet. It looks best on the rubber, but it's currently on the bracelet.
I've owned a previous gen and the current gen white dial and NTTD. I think after owning a few now, I finally realize it's just not a watch for me. Hate the bezel action and the bracelet. Two of the three I owned also had misaligned bezels. The sub blows it away in my opinion, but it's also twice as expensive. Pretty good value if you like it that's for sure
Great idea! All ceramic black with contrasting hands! I was just trying on the James Bond one and I was shocked by how light it is, so I bet it would be considerably more comfortable than its heavier brethren.
The Omega SMP 300 Diver is objectively my favorite modern luxury diver - I just wish I had the wrist to pull it off! I can only hope Omega releases a smaller version (but probably not 😢)
Now, Omega pls make the grey bezel, white dial with the blued hands. I'd missed the opportunity to get the Tokyo version 😂. Or dark red / maroon bezel with green dial for the next Christmas.
Picking out the best one is a tough decision to make. It might be skewed somewhat depending on other watches that are in the collection. I have the white dial version but would be almost as happy with any of the options. I've yet to see the seaweed variant yet but I think I'll be sticking with the 'Great White'. A good point about the movement Bruce, I'm not sure why Omega decided to stay with the 8800 when the 8900 jump hour was available since around 2016 used in the Globmaster. I'm sure that they had a good reason though.
Hey have you had the chance to handle the new Speedy Professional Hesalite all brushed bracelet. If so, you have then handled both the partly polished inner links bracelet and the full brushed bracelet. Which do you like more? Thank you
My own personal ranking is as such, blue-white-green-black-grey. Without taking into consideration of NTTD n the special material version. Just by colour.
I like the Seaweed Master the best. My second choice would be the grey dial. As for Bond watch in the review.....Meh. I really wish they would bring back the Bond version they had with the barrel rifling on the dial. I'd considering getting a Sea Master with a strap but Omega needs to pony up with a deployment clasp on a strap at this price point. I'd take a Rolex Hulk over any Sea Master!! Great review!!
Agree that blue is the best. It's an all time classic and it's the one I have. The white is hot but so hyped. NTTD is cool but unjustifiable for the price.
I want to ask you a question. I have silver version and marker at 3 o’clock looks crooked downward. I am looking at your video yours looks crooked too is this how they make them? Thank you.
Had the white one for more than a year. Quality was great, but eventually sold it because it is too big and thick. Wondering when Omega will start slimming and trimming their entire collection.
Love the Bond no time to die. The mesh bracelet and the dial color with patina makes it look vintage and classy. They all nice specially the white dial. I’m not a fan of the metal bracelet but I agree I like it with the black rubber strap. What about the 60 anniversary Bond blue? Great shot of the Seamaster and speedy. Lovely suede strap. Omega or after market? Thank you for posting another great content video.
I still love my older, 2631.80. That said, I would go for the No Time to Die if I had the funds.my second choice would be the white. I generally dislike white dials, as I have trouble reading the time. The black hands make this one perfectly legible. Nice comparison!👍
Interesting… I’ve owned and eventually sold all but the black one. I only regret selling the NTTD… but I got the call for a Sub and couldn’t justify owning two 10k divers
NTTD, for all of he reasons you mention it's not shiney/ blingy is its the opposite, better bracelet, it's a tad thinner, it's got the lumed bezel, no date, and light weight.
I've owned and loved the blue dial pre-wave SMPc for the last 5 or 6 years and loved it. The only blue shade is amazing. However, I recently added a blue IWC Mark XX and that drove me to trade the SMPc for the white dial SMP in this video. I think it'll better fit into my collection going forward, and also find it to nicely compliment my OG BB58 very well in terms of divers. The new 60th anniversary Bond in blue looks pretty great too!
The one I bought is the NTTD and I really enjoy it. It is also my first titanium watch and I think my next watches will also be titanium. I mean why get steel if there is lighter titanium ?
The white and the No Time to Die are just stunning and subtle. The other ones feel too blingy for my taste. I wish the bracelet was not as over the top and chunky. The mesh really suits it. There should be more bracelet options for this piece, whenever I compare this to a Sub the bracelet is the reason I won't pull the trigger
If you want to fix any issues with the Seamaster you need to start with the bracelet and clasp. Both are very nineties, but not timeless. Rolex figured that out and so did Omega on the Speedmaster and the Ultadeep. On a lower priority, they need a bezel that is shaped similar to the planet ocean and sounds and feels more quality. Finally the He escape needs to go away. Now I can't leave it on a negative note, because it seems like I hate the watch which, I don't. I actually love it. The ceramic dial and bezel alone make this the best in the range ( Rolex include). The movement is a bullet proof and it is a testament to the quality of Omega. The versatility of this watch with bracelet, rubber or mesh kills Rolex in this area. Finally, the verity that is available with this watch, with colors, limited additions and materials to use kills Rolex and any other brand at this price. This watch is great, but with a few small changes it could be even better.
These are beautiful, i wish they made some that look just like these that was smaller than 42mm, maybe 37.5, 38, 38.5, or 39mm. (Those 36.5mm Seamasters don't look like these)
Have tried many times to add a Seamaster to my collection but have never been a fan of the helium escape crown and the large case sizes. I tried on the titanium Seamaster before it's official release but don't like the big size or the faux patina. If they were offered in 40mm I would consider it. They would have had my business but instead I have ended up buying 3 Submariners. A steel date, steel no date & a Bluesy. As it stands if I was going to get a Seamaster I would probably get the iconic blue Brosnan dial.
The titanium Bond Seamaster has the MoD broad arrow markings. This in reality could not possibly pass as a spy's watch as it's a dead giveaway you work for the British government.
It's astonishing that you can buy a $200 fabric sofa, and get to pick out the fabric or leather then have it built. And on watches, you can't make the simple choice of date / no date... Unbelievable. It's as if it's 1930, the beginning of the industrial revolution.
If Omega made the Seamaster in 39mm in any color I would buy it. If they did that and made the bezel less tin like I would go to the store and buy today.
Finally, a watch review from someone whos wrist isn’t a woman’s. All these guys who review watches must weigh 90 lbs wet. This one is good for proportion. 👍

My friend has a sword hands in black. Awesome. So class.
Glad you showed the chrome dial some love that’s the one I own and I’m still happy with that choice. Very nautical and ocean inspired feeling watch

The white is the most beautiful and of course that’s the one I have
Just subscribed on my second device. Congratulations on approaching 100k. Well earned.
Love the white dial, blue bezel.....a stunner for sure, omega is my favorite tool watch.....

I have the black dial. My most versatile watch.
Ive been conflicted on a 300m or a PO. Tough choices. Keep up the great content!
I own the black SMP, goes with everything. Actually, I enjoy it on the bracelet, it’s my go to watch.
Bracelet is iconic
Bruce...I put mine on an Artem sailcloth as well. Easily one of the my favorite watch/strap combos in the rotation.

Omega Shmega, BW has hit 100K subscribers. Well done mate!!!
I’ve owned my blue SMP 300 almost 3 years now. Goes everywhere: gym, running, dress up. Runs +2 spd, right within spec.
I own the SM300 Nekton. I almost went with the white/black, but the Nekton has no date and a relief titanium bezel. The titanium bezel makes the watch look smaller, plus you don’t see then out in the wild very often versus the other colors and versions.
I have the black but i want the blue!!
I own the blue Seamaster, but would love to get a blue bezel white dial version which I know is ver limited and way more expensive.
SMP 300 black dial on rubber. Wearing it right now 😍. Comfiest watch!
2020 Tokyo Olympic LE blends the amazing blue hands and blue ceramic bezel with that clean white dial. I think it's by far the best combo, it's too bad it was a LE. Great Video!

I never wear watches on rubber strap except for when I wear my SM 300. The SS bracelet they does not taper is just a disappointment.
White and blue Tokyo for the win!

1- 007 titanium
2-smp 300 white
3-smp 300 black
4- blue
5-grey/blue
That white on black rubber is hard to beat. That said, I’d like to try the green dial before I pull the trigger.
Blue is best! Would also rank the NTTD higher if it didn’t have a $4k premium.
They need to bring out a red SMP300!
White dial is the most legible - my favorite summer watch.

When will the green make the top4?!
Agree - blue is best, white and black on a par. NTTD just looks like it needs a good wash! So ugly
SEAMASTER is iconic 🔥
Just trade the blue one with the black gold/steel version
I have the blue both in metal and rubber strap.

I’m gong for the NTTD. Something different. But I love the white and would go for that if not. But I don’t like the bracelet of the normal seamasters.
Blue rule only watch in the market you pay lees and get more
Finally, a watch review from someone whos wrist isn’t a woman’s. All these guys who review watches must weigh 90 lbs wet. This one is good for proportion. 👍
My dream watch😢
No one ever mentions the rubbish legibility of the hands at night with the lume only at the ends.
I bought the blue on blue , I wish I bought the white dial .
Something about that blue
A ceramic bracelet???? Bruce,.. come on man
IKR
Not impressed by the blue. Looks cheap. The other ones are much better
Smpc cal 2500 was the best ever seamaster.
