I'm a full-time photographer in the Netherlands and I'm planning on showing you a but more of my life as a photographer. Are you interested in photography? I'm planning on sharing videos in which I show you my typical work-week as a photographer. I will give you tips & tricks concerning photography, photo shoots, backdrops, studio props, camera settings (iso, aperture, shutter speed, white balance), photoshoot outfits, photoshoot make-up etc.
Bedankt voor het kijken! Ik ben een full-time fotograaf in Nederland en ik wil je graag iets meer laten zien over mijn werk als fotograaf. Wil je meer weten over (digitale) fotografie? Wil je weten hoe een fotostudio er van binnen uitziet? Ben je op zoek naar een gratis online cursus fotografie? Kijk dan mijn videos en abonneer je op mijn kanaal. IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don't have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don't experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many 'pinterest poses' are composites. Please, don't try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

Hy, Fenna :) I just looove your videos, i've seen them all and some of them many times. I just appreciate your work so much. My big problem right now is that I started ordering vinyl backdrops from Aliexpress. I live in Romania and in here I can't find stores where I can buy them rolled up. And they came all wrinkly from how they were shiped. And they don't look very nice after I iron them. I say yours are all perfect straight. Did you have similar issues? If yes, how did you get them straight? Thank you soo much! Love you and you are such an inspiration. Hugs

hmm my session all of them in customer house :P ( still don't have a studio) and I have the one I made from PVC :3 i'm saving to get the round one I think better cuz I have a problem making the fabric look smooth after I put it in the bag: x and ty always helping us with your tip and exp ^O^
It's nice to go to clients their homes as well. The round one is very easy and fast to set up. And with a smaller/lower beanbag the fabric is smooth.
Hello Fenna, I am a baby photografer from Germany. Mostly I have had worked in hospitals with the new borns. But from now on I will start to expand this in my little studio. Another great video! The Flexbars seem really cool. I always assumed you just had a square PVC stand. I had a regular beanbag that I was going to use but tried my SIB baby on it and it’s too small. So I’m ordering a photographer beanbag this week. I’m undecided on ordering the round backdrop stand or making a square one from PVC. I’m scared to ‘miss’ the beanbag since there will be some gaps between the beanbag and the square stand. Did you find it hard judging where the bag was since you can’t see it under the blankets? Maybe I’m just overthinking/worrying. But I love how much space you have and not need to expand in PS!!! I do feel like a round one will be easier to turn the baby to the right light angle (natural light) and for those parent hand poses. Your vids are so helpful!
I would definitely recommend a bigger beanbag. Gives you a larger canvas to create you art with! For now I would prefer a round one, but just a bit larger (and close to the ground!). I never have problems guessing where my beanbag is underneath the blanket. It's very easy to feel and I always place the baby in the middle.
which lens you use for the photos, is a 105mm macro?
Is there anyway you could stuff your beanbag to even it out? Glad you went back to original, You're more happy with it and that's what we want 💋 I would sooooo participate in a giveaway. I would settle for wrap 😂 can't wait for the next upload
That's lovely to hear. I'm always happy when I'm photographing newborns! For now I like my beanbag not that full, so I can create a little 'nest' in the middle. Helps a lot with posing!

Hi can you add item links to different things you discuss (flexibars) . Maybe have a section like you have for music that has links (camera you use, lens, backdrops, props, blankets , lights , random stuff) :)

Hi fenna ik gebruik de pvc achtergrondsysteem maar vind het niet heel handig. De flexibars lijken mij ook ideaal. Welke maat backdrop gebruik je? Ik vind je video's erg fijn trouwens.
De meeste backdrops zijn 1,5 meter * 2 meter. Dan knip ik er vaak een strook af voor een wrap

use coconut oil on them melt a little rub little on it it will stop the squeaking a little at least and also take a look at pool noodles you could use more oil and not worry about blankets or babies if cover with a pool noodle (google :) )

I did not buy them from Aliexpress, but from shootbaby.com / shootbaby.co.uk . They might be sold out at the moment, but they hopefully restock them again

Very interesting video. I wonder if you could use a silicon spray lubricant on the flexi-bars to quiet them down?
That might work, I just don't want them to be greasy and/or stain om backdrops. It's just when you're leaning on the bars, that they squeek :)
