- In this video I'm reviewing two very good photoshoot backgrounds from www.studiobackdrops.eu/en. They are made from vinyl and wrinkle-free. I love the good quality! First I'm unboxing the studio backdrops and later in the video I'm actually using them during several photo sessions and showing you the finished photos. You can see Behind The Scenes videos from cake smash photoshoots and sitter sessions. The babies are all so cute! The backgrounds I got are the following:

IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don't have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don't experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many 'pinterest poses' are composites. Please, don't try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

I ordered 4 of these to the USA. The mint and the light beige peachy one she has here and a white wood and a light blue cloudy one… they are sooo nice! Much better quality than Fox and cheaper even with shipping to the USA. They are twice as thick as Fox bsckdrops… amazing !! They only charged me one shipping fee for all 4 huge backdrops and I got them in just 2 weeks

Lovely backdrops 😊 I buy in the same shop (but not yet a backdrop) I am always happy with them 😊 and the wrinkles above...hmmm i have it too...I think it's the backdrop system quality...i'am dreaming about having such a system on the wall...and hoping it's much better 😉 and easier to use...As i work in my living room 🙈🙈🙈 send love...adore your work 😍
They are indeed a great shop! If I clip the backdrop unto another backdrop (and I don't use the opening in the top to put the bar through) I already have less wrinkles in the top. Thank you!

Good question :) Usually I sing songs, play peekaboo, fake sneeze, tickle their toes. When they're older I tell them not to smile :)

Thank you! The beige one is 2 meters * 4 meters and the mint green one is 2 meters * 3 meters. I buy the bowls/baskets usually for both newborns and sitters, which means that I try to fit my underarm in it. If you arm fits from your fist to your elbow, it's a good size. I think around 40cm diameter

How big is your studio? Here in the US we use square feet, not sure how its measured in the Netherlands. But I love how you have everything in a different area so everything flows! :)
Thank you! In total it's about 60m2 which is (according to google) about 645 sq feet. I have 4 setups for sitters and a separate newborn area, tiny kitchen and bathroom.

Hi Fenna, When you photograph children that crawl they could pull and wrinkle the backdrop in the floor, so how do you set up the backdrop properly for these sessions?
Good morning Fenna from Los Angeles. Quick question do you use a personal baker for the cakes? Do you give the families options if they aren’t bringing their own cake ? And have an additional charge for providing a cake please tell me how you work that deal? I love the baby shushes. I have bought mine 5 years ago and use it for many hours every week. It calms down the babies (and siblings/parents), helps to avoid awkward silences :) and tje batteries last super long

it is possible and we send sometimes but post office takes backdrop only 146cm wide so that the parcel is not longer than 160cm we can send 200cm wide with UPS but it costs a lot - €140, $150

Thank you for sharing the video link. I don't really use the floral hoop during a cake smash session, because the babies are still small (get tired easily) and I prefer to use it outside. I just place the hoop on the ground

Can you make a video of settings you use in Ps and LR to get beautiful quality to post to Instagram and Facebook? The photos I take look amazing on the laptop then after upload on Facebook/Instagram they look terrible! I've tried a few different pixel and sizes but I haven't found anything that works yet. Thank you!

You need to change how you upload to Facebook. You need to be uploading in HD.

Hi Fenna, I just looked at the shop and noticed vinyl and canvas finish. yours look like canvas not vinyl. You talk about vinyl so wondering if yours are vinyl and canvas. Thank you for all the great videos.
