Is the 747 sufficient/compatible to replace Dell XPS 9700 130watt charging brick? 17" Laptop is heavy enough as is, im trying to cut down on bulk.

That’s a very good question. I don’t see why not. I think it is

@Kilobit Nomad I just ordered 747 charger with a 6 ft 140watt cable with a Memorial Day discount off the website. I'll comment on my experience once I've used it for a couple of days in case anyone else is curious about Dell power brick replacement.

Okay, so I've been using them for 3 days now, the 150-watt power brick and 6 ft 140-watt nylon cable that is. They are outstanding!! The dedicated laptop USB C port charges my XPS 9700 perfectly and quickly, and the 2 remaining USB C ports charge my s21 Ultra and Bose quietcomfort, with fast charge, in no time at all. I've had all 3 devices charging at once, and 150 watts is definitely the way to go. Also, that USB A port is very handy. It has been my go-to for charging Bose Sunglasses. The power distribution is very good, and from what I can tell, they don't overcharge once you're at 100%. The only negative I've noticed is that the brick will get hot, but it's a workhorse, so that's to be expected. I highly recommend this to Dell laptop users!

Yes, I also had same experience that brick gets hot while charging. I was curious if it’s normal to get heated up while charging. Hope it won’t impact the battery of devices

Would this charger be safe to charge an iPhone 15 and an iPad Pro 5 gen

Hey, so the iphone 15 and the anker ganprime both have software to regulate electricity transfer; so in theory, yes it is safe, but you’d want to make sure you’ve update to the latest iOS to avoid the overheating issues which is due to software bug.
There are also reports that there’s a bug with the iOS and the anker that keeps disconnecting but it’s definitely a software bug

You say this one and that one. It’s hard to keep track of which model you’re referring to.
