Yes I do, and am still using it! I haven't really thought about adding more surround speakers as I live in NYC Apartment and NYC apts are tiny :D but it would be nice to do that in the future.

@lcadigitalmedia This going to a 2 part message. I too live in a small apartment. You have options to do a speaker swap or add speakers. Vizio gives you 1 way speakers. There good but they are lacking. Until I put in my Insignia 2 way speakers I had no idea how bad. Like adding 2 exhaust pipes. This isn't to make your room louder this is to get to be better at Dolby Atmos. So youtubue videos you get the narrator on the sound bar. With 2 way or e way speakers that background music will play more clearly and be on separate surround channels. You have speaker cable and adapter options on how you would like your set connected.

@@scottivlow9962 oh yes for sure, the 2 extra speakers are definiteliy better. My family's house has 7.1 insatlled on the ceiling and all, and it's a more complete surround sound.

@@lcadigitalmedia Here is part 2 that got deleted when my switched to wifi. I'm not going to buy this or that. So you have brands from Insignia, Acoustic Audio,DPI,and Dual. For the cheap price even though I didn't buy them for under $40 you can get 2 way speakers from Goldwood. You only need 7" Indoor Outdoor Bookshelf speakers and the RCA Y connectors. Vizio included an excellent Class D amps in the subwoofer that subs can handle 4 speakers and 2 at 6 ohms. I have 2 3 Way DPI. I don't know how much care about getting the best out of midrange if you do go with 3 way speakers. Like you will get so much better sound separation from youtube with background music to where you hear it in the surround loud speakers that doesn't get pickup in the 1 way speakers. You get some good decent bass when it's needed. On Amazon you can buy cheap and small isolation pads and you can buy a good size one for your sub so that it's off the floor won't cause major floor vibrations. A month ago I didn't know they existed because I was using cardboard. I also have a pair Insignia 2 way bookshelf I/O speakers that I got from Best Buy. The quality is very high and the sound is as natural as they can be, they sell for $50. You don't need big 10" expensive speakers you just need a pair of small ones for better surround sound than what you have from Vizio. That said you can still pair them, sometimes they compliment the sound with the loud speakers. No matter the brand you have choices and you don't have to go so big on speaker size either. On your Vizio remote you can control the audio level on them too. You don't have to copy me but on Amazon I bought isolation pads for the soundbar also. So it's like resting on air. Is it considered snake oil? Yes Is it worth doing for under $15.00 For me yes but I'm not going to say that this is right for you because it won't change the sound by even a db. I can tell you on 3 way speakers there are not many brand options. Moukey has a brand I was going to buy but you can't get them new from a good retail with shipping included, This why I can tell you about Goldwood. To me the Dual speakers are ugly. I like clean straight lines and boxy speakers. Monoprice your going to pay more and you will need to bi wire them. There made for big amplifiers but they have upfiring speakers. I wanted to tell you this because speaker boxes don't say great for sound bar surround speakers. Or great replacement speakers for surround sound bar speakers.

m4 mac mini base model is 16GB RAM now finallyi

1st) base model is 16GB RAM. 2nd) for games, yes, the Ryzen build would be better; for content creation, definitely not. The M4 Mac Mini can edit 4K/8K HDR videos very smoothly, and no lag. I have a Ryzen 5950X + Nitro+ 6900 XT SE to Video edit and render on 4K HDR it's just about the same performance but sometimes it still lags a bit, and it is a $5K rig, compared to a $500 tiny computer. Not to mention the power usage on M4 Mac Mini is around 60W while my Ryzen 5950X Rig is around 400-500W when video editing. I actually recently just have built and reviewed the Ryzen 9800X3D and it's very fast for gaming, but for anything else, the M4 Mac Mini smokes it. Not even close for anything other than gaming.

good question: The Q5 Max is the successor to the Q5 Pro and offers several upgrades. That's awesome! Yup, the Alienware is almost perfect; if they can get the Dolby Vision working, mainly Microsoft's fault (win 11 issue), then this would be the perfect 1000nit OLED Monitor for the price IMHO.

@@lcadigitalmedia Depending on what you're viewing, HDR may actually flatten the colors. And the VRR off may help with frame rate flickering. Just what I've read.

@@HeyNiagraFalls Interesting. I think that mostly comes from being this Monitor is only HDR600. I have HDR on all the time on my Dell AW3225QF, but this has 1000nits, which maps out the HDR color range properly, especially on macOS. I'm not sure about the frame rate flickering on the VRR though.

Depending on how bright your ceiling light is (in lumens), it's not really a problem. HDR600 generally is bright when in front of the monitor all the time, normal SDR is around 300nits, so 600nits is double. Just not the 1000nits that the Dell Alienware is outputting.

Hey, not entirely sure about your question but I assume you're asking where to plug the PCI-E Power Cables from the GPU to the PSU. It should be the PCI-E ports, which is 8-ping (6+2), you won't be able to miss it or plug it incorrectly.

that's awesome! You don't need to unplug the RGB headers, you simply turn the lights off through the App. I have them blacked out currently as well as I have my Home Server running 24/7.

@@lcadigitalmedia what if I never plugged it into the GPU in the first place, will the RGB be on? If so, will I be able to switch it off on the Trixx app despite the ARGB header not being plugged into the MOBO?

​@@chunxiang105 I am not sure why you would go through all the hassle of disconnecting that as you would need to unscrew the backplate just to unplug that when you can just click a button on the Trixx software to turn it off. It's just a lot of work and time wasted just for a simple off switch. Don't make it comlicated, and keep it simple. Turn off the RGB Lights through the App.

That's a good observation. I Don't think they're claiming apple watch fast charging, but onlyi iPhone charging if I'm mistaken. This charger is focused more on portability and travelling, so I wouldn't necessarily be looking to this for fast charging. I used this for a week around Europe and it's been very helpful for it being compact.

@@lcadigitalmedia It's advertised on Amazon as Apple Watch Fast charger. It's very frustating to shop for a 3 in 1 which has fast charging for both iPhone and Apple Watch. I have yet to find one which has the speed of the official Apple Watch and official mag safe charger

I'm not a Mic Expert and I didn't test that unfortunately. I only compared the output of each mic out of the box, which the Senheisser has a lower base output level than the Rode Mic. So I preferred the SEnheisser for that to minimize my untreated studio rather than spending 1000hours of treating my studio in NYC.

@@ngocehgayabebas2118 not really, I actually normalize or raise the audio a bit during post since I lower the input level during recording to eliminate all background noise.

Dolby Vision is already HDR. the HDR mode is 10-bit while Dolby Vision is 12-bit, and dynamic.

I did not experience it during the test with the games, but yeah, VRR Flickering is damn annoying. My Brother has this OLED Monitor and he hasn't complained anything about flickering to me.

the Radiator is inside those top mesh grill where you can remove the top panel as well, and the fans will be seen on the top part through the glass. You may want to ask NZXT Chat support to be sure.

Hey, Yeah, I think the AM8T sounds pretty good for academic videos, especially if you don't have a treated environment, it should minimize a lot of the background noise.

That's a very good question. I initially placed a USB Fan under it but then I realized this is supposed to be screwed on the ceiling without any fans, so I just placed on w/o the fan, though I still placed the metal plates in there as a heat sink. So Far I don't find it too hot or never really checked on it. I figured, if this was placed on the ceiling, then Ubiquiti already tested the heat on this device and that it should be able to handle it.

Heat kills electronics. 50c on case means 100 degc on soc. Also means lot if wasted energy/electricity. So im interested in it

@@kwazar6725 IMHO, this AP and the older versions are intended to be screwed on the ceiling and they are passively cooled, so I don't think heat plays a major issue, I mean I understand heat degrades the chips over time but by the time you will see visible performance degradation in 5 years or so, there will be new tech already that you may be upgrading already. Like I always thought my CPU and/or Monitors will be the same for the next 10 years but every 2 - 3 years, I'm always temped to upgrade lol

it was upscaled to 4K due to Ray Tracing enabled lol, didn't want to play 4K native without Ray Tracing for testing. I typically play 4K resolution only, but I wanted to see how it looked like with Ray Tracing on :D

I used to be very OCD about the HDR Settings, and you would want to use a colorimeter to calibrate them even more but honestly, the colors are already great compared to the regular LED Panels even for SDR.

How can he reach 4k while is not 4k? And is it possible to reach 4k on pc ?

@@neosaber4 I dont know about the XBOX settings, but on PC, you can enable Super Resolution on AMD Radeon, and the equivalent to Nvidia.

99% of OLED Screens have Auto Brightness Limiter (ABL) to preserve and minimize burn-ins. So basically, at 100% white screen, it will only use about 20-30% nits or somewhere around 150-200 nits, while at 10% - 20% white screen, it will use 100% nix (max capacity). I dont have the exact numbers for this Monitor but it will be like that

I use this 80% of the time on my macOS VM on unraid server! :D I just used windows 11 VM during the video because of games. It's pretty good on the macOS, but don't expect dolby vision enabled as macOS currently only has HDR option. Not to be confused with Apple TV+'s content which are all on Dolby Vision. As for my sound system, on my Workstation/Server, I have an external DAC with Kanto Studio Speakers, you can check on my gear on the description :) It will look good on PS5, Consoles can only really get up to 120FPS dynamic (not constant), where this monitor shines is if you can maximize the 240hz :)

good question. Every OLED will have a pixel refresh but they automatically do it when the screen is off. You don't have to do it manually

The HDR is not bad, it's sufficient; but I don't recall peaking at 1200 nits on the LG 27GS95QE, the Alienware does.

@@lcadigitalmedia Rtings and Viktor mentioned it peaked to almost 1200 nits at a 2% window in the "High peak brightness" setting. Also do you think it's worth upgrading from a VA panel with 8 edge lit dimming zones? Don't wanna drop $1000 on a monitor only to find OLED HDR is overrated lol.

​@@msnehamukherjee interesting. from a VA panel, it's night and day; IPS is generally regarding as the best in color quality for LED (over VA), and your VA panel only has 8 edge lit dimming zones, that's nowhere near the top FALD monitors that has about 1000 dimming zones of micro-LED, which means you're getting lots of Blooms, or shining around the object being lit. Now imagine, every pixel turns can turn on/off independently, which means on a 1440p (2560 x 1440), that's 3,686,400 pixels of the dimming zones; so you get unlimited contrast. You can compare the OLED panel over the LED panel in a pitch black room, sort'a like a movie theatre and you will see it night and day, Not to mention the input latency since it's per pixel, it's 1ms; but another thing to check as well is the max brightness of every OLED panel, this one is 600nits, the alienware is 1000nits but that's on the other side of the spectrum. in short, OLED will spoil you of every other LED (Regular) monitor once you try it.

@@lcadigitalmedia Thank you for giving a perspective. I do have an AMOLED phone with Dolby Vision so I'm aware of the contrast ratio it gives in a dark room. I just don't know how this carries over to the monitor lol. One final question. I have two options to choose from currently, this LG one and the other being a Samsung Odyssey G6 OLED which is a QD OLED monitor. Which one would you choose personally if HDR wow factor is the biggest priority?

@@avocadodevotee If the game supports DLSS then you can definitely play with 60 fps. I play SCUM with a RTX 2070 Super with highest setting at 60 FPS with DLSS set to ultra performance.
