  • In this informative video, we will guide you through the process of recalibrating your smart radiator thermostat from Wiser. You may need to periodically recalibrate your Wiser radiator thermostat and TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valve), typically for one of two reasons:
    1. Control accuracy has dropped: Over time, the control accuracy of your radiator thermostat may decrease. Recalibration helps restore its precision and efficiency.
    2. You would like to move the way the LEDs on the thermostat face: If you wish to change the direction in which the LEDs on your thermostat are facing, recalibration allows you to adjust their position.
To begin the recalibration process, start by holding the cap on your Wiser radiator thermostat in the plus position. Keep holding until the red indicator illuminates, and you feel the motor start to drive. After a few seconds, the motor will stop, and the LEDs will display red and blue flashing lights. Your smart radiator thermostat is now in calibration mode.
Now, is the perfect opportunity to check that the Wiser head is tightly secured to the adapter, the centre LED is green, and the chrome locking ring is firmly attached to the valve body. Once everything is properly secured, hold the cap to the minus sign until the motor begins to drive. Release the cap, and the head will complete its travel.
To confirm that the recalibration process is successful, all three LEDs will flash. It's as simple as that!

Anyone know what to do if there's no signal and the central led light remains yellow? I've taken batteries out, changed them, recalibrated ... and no joy

The yellow light means the Wiser Radiator Thermostat is not joined to the Wiser network. If t's showing in the app with no signal it needs to be deleted, and then follow the steps to add a new device. Our customer services team are happy to guide you through this process - 0333 6000 622

What do you do if the light doesn't come on when you turn it?

If you don't get any lights when you twist the cap it can either be that the device lock is active in the app or the batteries are dead.
