Dude, istg, when I first tried learning Russian on Duolingo for fun, *while* I was learning German, I gave up in the first 5 seconds. I saw the letters, the alphabet, etc, and was like, "Nah, im good." 😭

It’s better to say “день первый”, “день второй”. It’s like in English: you don’t say “day two”, you say “second day”

Ы is not "uiii" LMAO
It's a very open И [ee]. Say "У" like 'oo' in "stool" continuously and slowly stretch a smile, you'll get Ы. When you grasp how it sounds, its easy to figure out how to make it with less open mouth and without that stupid smile :D
