I think it could be close to meta if paired with Lee S3 or anyone that can knock or pull enemies into Ebenholz's range after he uses the skill. Even having a Defender or two blocking enemies in his range could be great since the blocked enemies that aren't being attacked will always be hit by his skill.
him not being meta was kinda a foregone conclusion, he wants to be a boss killer but it's very very very hard to out-boss-killer eyja s3 just as far as casters go HOWEVER he looks like he's extremely fun to play around with so i'm excited

On paper his skillsets are extremely good, and this footage manage to show him justice, as his S2 is just W's S2, but Arts and can shift Should have been a manual skill, so that we can control how many of the shadows we can summon
I like this guy, his style is particular and i love the control focus if we want to use him and get benefit form thing like kafka or erato or use gladiia for insane pull in this skill and range control, so fresh so stylish. He need the extra for the note to hit right and i will provide it to him.

Cuz it's not that simple to not let the enemies reach his range. I already showed the example in the first clip, I used Passengers to slow and kill some enemies that can make Ebenholz attack before summoning with many stacks.

I feel like having it so there's a limit to how many of the summons explode based on if the enemy will die or not would put this skill in a little bit of a better place, so he doesn't waste summons/charges on weaker enemies. Seems like HG wants that to be his gimmick anyways. Not sure how they'd accomplish it but it feels proper. Regardless I'm pulling for him, dope art and very fun skills.
I don't like how it's unpredictable whether we'll get 1 or more summons. From what I see, the skill immediately activates when the cooldown ends and if you don't have any charges in hand you end up summon only 1 shadow. That's bad. But I really like the stage with crownslayer where she was pulled along the track and got hit real hard. Guess that's how you use Ebenholz.

Same concept high invest high reward need condition to be fufill. Ps: 5 charge with 1.35 mod with another 1.4 mod on s3 and 65% plus atk from 1k7 max total stat is 26k base without res and buff. If we buff him with war that is 40k so with one buffer 1 debuffer for res down and a staller that is 4 slot for 40k 3 of which can also doing weight for the if the map is right.

Either a direct buff, which HG doesn't like to do. Or creating stages and mechanics that signify his use, for example CC#7 has that specific tile that ONLY Fartooth can use to the full potential, or "Hand of Spread" collectibles that makes Passenger an absolute god. This is what HG have been doing pretty well so far. Last but not least, creating more operators that synergize with the 6* in question, possibly making an entire seperate playstyle out of that. Erato become the new DPS member in the Sleep gang, Kazimierz and Abyssal Hunter faction buff, etc. This is what HG have been trying to pull off, yet still struggling as far as I'm concerned. Generally the "faction" synergy isn't worthwhile enough in most cases, so ppl just put up with 80 seconds cooldown on NTR S2 instead of using Gravel preemptively.
He looks amazing af but I don't know he feels weird... his s2 is dusk's s3 but weaker(?) cause he needs time to cast several remnants he looks weak vs constant waves of enemies yet he is cheaper to deploy than dusk and his skills are also faster to charge His s3 however looks nice but he's supposed to be a boss killer why give him Attack Speed instead of more atk or a debuff so he can hit harder i mean he's only attacking bosses and most of the time u are blocking them they are going anywhere I would change it to: reduce AS increase Atk or dmg dealed by xx% or reduces the res of the attacked enemy by xx% (a good amount but not stackable or normal amount but stackable) and only attacks elite and boss enemies
Just saying, M3 only gives 1 SP cost less (technically M2), as well as a 15% increase in damage across all levels, so 245% total. Not too much of a difference in terms of use. He gets pretty paltry upgrades as a whole from masteries, likely due to his high ATK stat and charges.
QQ: is his s2 can only deployed in deployable platform or lane? Even summons cannot be placed on it, and it makes me wonder whether his s2 can be used on water?
Do you want another ling or Chalter in the game. It's fine if he is not strong, not every character needs OP kit to make people pull for them. Take W for example, she is not meta yet whales waste 300 pulls to get her.

The only thing about him that really seems to function as intended is S2 but even then it's still a very conditional skill due to the charge consumption.

Its a very diverse skill, may not be meta but very cool nontheless

imo hes in a pretty decent place nothing game breaking but very useable if you like him with some fun tools which is a pretty good place balance wise
