(My cake pan is larger than the one used in the recipe, so I sized up the recipe slightly. For reference, the one in the recipe is 37.5cm x 25.4cm which is about 15in x 10in, and my pan is 41.5cm x 30cm which is about 16 x 12in. If you want to use the original recipe, the instructions stay the same, but the ingredients have to be according to the original recipe that is listed in the description instead of what I write.) 5 Egg yolks 30.5g Sugar ~1g Salt 5g Vanilla extract 37.5g Vegetable oil 63g Milk 69g Cake flour 19g Cocoa powder 2.5g Baking powder 5 Egg whites 80g Sugar 200g Cream cheese Oreo cream (6 Oreo) 30.5g Sugar 125g Heavy cream Crushed oreo (6 Oreo) The Cake 1. Mix egg yolks, 30.5g sugar, salt, vanilla extract, vegetable oil and milk. 2. Sift cake flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into the yolk mixture. Set aside. 3. Whip the egg whites until firm peaks, gradually adding in 80g sugar. 4. Fold a small amount (maybe like about a fourth) of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture. 5. After it is fully combined, pour the chocolate mixture into the rest of the egg white mixture and fold it in. 6. Pour into a baking tray already pre-lined with parchment paper(do not use wax paper) and spread out evenly. After spreading it out evenly, raise and drop it a few times to get rid of existing air bubbles. 7. Bake at in an oven preheated to 170ºC (or 340ºF) for 22-23 minutes. 8. After letting it cool slightly, remove it from the pan and place on a cooling rack. Peel the parchment paper from the sides and place another sheet of paper that is larger than the cake on top (type doesn't matter now). 9.Flip it over onto a working area and peel the rest of the parchment paper from the cake. 10. Cut a thin slice off lengthwise from the sides of the cake to make it even. 11. On one of the shorter sides of the cake, cut a slanted piece off the side. 12. On the side directly opposite the slanted edge, cut a thin piece off. Then, in short increments from the edge, cut slight grooves into the cake widthwise, making the cuts very shallow and stopping after about 7 or 8 cuts. Set aside. The Filling 13. Mix cream cheese, oreo cream and 30.5g sugar. Add in heavy cream and slightly mix. 14. Use an electric mixer to blend together the mixture more. 15. Fold in the crushed oreo cookie. Assembly 16. Spread out the filling on top of the cake evenly in a thing layer, taking care to push more filling to the side with the shallow cuts. Smooth this extra filling into a slightly raised mound, shaped slightly like a triangle. 17. Starting from this side with more filling, slowly roll the cake forwards, holding it firmly as it rolls into shape. 18. Use an object with a slightly pointed edge to push paper under the roll, which will hold it tighter, and then roll the rest of the cake up in the paper. 19. This isn't shown in the video, but take the extra paper on the edges and twist tightly, which will ensure the cake doesn't open while being refrigerated. 20. Refrigerate for 2 hours. (At least. More time in the fridge will only make it colder and firmer.) 21. Enjoy!
I just rebaked this recipe and the result....THIS CAKE TASTES REALLY GOOD !!! The sweetness level is just right, especially for a non-sweet tooth person who loves cake like me. And also the cream tastes like heaven ! I’M SO BLESSED TO FIND THIS RECIPE. Definitely will try another recipe. Thank you !!
made this today and it was great,,, tasted great, texture was so fluffy and overall 10/10. only issue was that I didn't use the cream cheese filling as i was missing cream cheese at home so i just made a whipped cream filling and added around 10-12 oreos in and it tasted great. highly reccomend.

Don't have teflon sheet, so I tried using baking paper. However, the roll cake got stuck to the paper. Is there an alternative? Or, should I spray some cooking oil on the baking paper before pouring in the cake batter?

30.5g Sugar

5g Vanilla extract

Oreo cream (6 Oreo)
30.5g Sugar
125g Heavy cream
Crushed oreo (6 Oreo)
The Cake
1. Mix egg yolks, 30.5g sugar, salt, vanilla extract, vegetable oil and milk.
2. Sift cake flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into the yolk mixture. Set aside.
3. Whip the egg whites until firm peaks, gradually adding in 80g sugar.
4. Fold a small amount (maybe like about a fourth) of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
5. After it is fully combined, pour the chocolate mixture into the rest of the egg white mixture and fold it in.

half may not be enough ^^ i recommend you make the full recipe, use as much batter as you need to fill your pan, then make cupcakes with the rest!
