How to Change the Starting Battery | Honda HRX217

Changing the starting battery on the Honda HRX217 lawn mower.

Refer to the tag on top and near the back of the mower deck to find the model and serial number to open the correct manual for your mower. The "Customer Information" page has a list of part numbers. Honda Owner's Manual:

What is the part number for the battery you replaced it with ? You didn’t put that info in the link

Great video! I just replaced my battery 15 minutes ago and now all I get is a click when I turn the key. Suggestions?

Typically it's because the battery doesn't have enough charge. If you have an external charger, try charging it. If you have the self charging version of the mower like mine, manually start it and mow for a while so it can charge.
