That moment when Rûm isn’t on the list. They have both a really nice colour and awesome ideas and can expand basically anywhere from their position in central anatolia and you can get the achievement ‘Heroes Welcome’ with Karaman (forming rûm and byzantium not existing). Anyway, really good list apart from rûm not being there!
2:45 I think you can form Ruthenia if you culture swap as any nation that isn’t the starting Ukrainian cores. I did Ottomans into Revolutionary Ruthenia before and Also Muscovy into Ruthenia long long ago.
Hey love your videos, an interesting fact is that if you have the Third Rome DLC installed all of the Russian minors have the Russian Principality mission tree that includes the possibility to culture shift to Ruthenian without having to do any of the usual culture shifting shenanigans if you conquer Kiev and the surrounding area. So you don't have to start as a released vassal and don't have to do it the hard culture shift way. Ryazan and Odoyev are both in a decent position to try this, during my Mass Production achievement run as Odoyev I made it my goal to both get the achievement and form Ruthenia as forming a nation does not break the achievement.
@@alejandropalenciano2319 Lmao, that powerful country sadly is out of EU4. But you can bring it to existence with Beyond Typus or Lux in Tenebris. Both are good overhaul mods that add many more nations and more historical accuracy in general

7:22 The end-game tag check is more typically "having been an end-game tag" as opposed to "is an end-game tag". I haven't viewed all of the formation conditions. But for the ones I have, they are all like that.
Ukraine is a part of Rus/Russia, it's always been - except the times of Poland invasion. Ukraine means "borderlands". All "Ukrainians" in reality are brainwashed South Russians, like the ones from Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar or Belgorod regions. The only exception is "zapadentsy", neo-nazis from Galitsiya. They lived separated from Rus' for 700 years, so now they are not Russians like other "Ukrainians".
I formed Ruthenia by culture converting Lithuania. It took a while, but it worked. Of course, this was a couple years ago. I'm not sure if it's possible since 3rd Rome.
1. Mongols are broken by enforced moving capitol to Asia. It is economy killer for eauropean horde. 2. To make Malaya even richer, move capitol to Australia and turn everything to trade companies. Even more merchants? Not a problem :) And starting as Madyas is a good option too - hindu republic and insane insane really insane navy. 3. The easiest way to Ruthenia is culture shift from Lithuania. Probably everyone does it anyway as Baltic culture group is so small compared to east slavic 4. Where is Rajputana on the list I ask :)
The only reason I managed to get my African Power achievement as Kongo is because Granada somehow formed Andalusia and ate both Castile and Portugal, leaving me to colonize most of West Africa. AI is truly an ally sometimes.

Hmm... I might contest the "strongest trading nation outside of Europe". Canada has very strong trade ideas, high value trade goods (at least when fur increases in value), and the ability to draw much of the wealth of North America to the St. Lawrence trade node, I have seen a huge trade income come from Canada, especially if they expand south into the tobacco and cotton rich areas.
Don't know if its possible in EU4 but in EU3 i loved forming Gotland and making my own colonial/trade empire and turning it Into essentially an Island sized city state.

Little Tip about Savoy, Milan is old and has no heir, you can if they dont marry burgundy or another big nation marry them and get a Savoia on the throne, wich leads to a republic switch but with a restore monarchy CB, if you force Milan back to a monarchy your ruler who became president will now be ruler again, no heir and ripe to be throne claimed after the truce ends, or you can wait and see if they spread your dynasty or sometimes even become your partner diplomatically.
There's another Andalusia achievement for forming it as Mzab, Touggourt, or Djerid - something I failed horribly to do when trying to combine this with Third Way. Mongol Empire has a hidden modifier "Wreck Your Economy" if you have a European capital. Or rather *had* a European capital. I hope you didn't rely on trade companies to pay down that territory corruption! Before 1.28, it was at least a temporary modifier since ou could just move your cap back (but your TC land would still get the same 5 years of zero Goods Produced as if you'd removed it manually), but with the new cap movement restrictions, re-forming the Mongol Empire as, say, the Great Horde is a terrible, _terrible_ idea.
Forming Mongol Empire can backfire horribly, as doing that moves your capital to Qaraqorum (in Asia), which for example if done by Great Horde->Golden Horde (whose capital is in Europe) will remove their trade companies and cripple income. In my campaign it threw me into over -2k per month.
Playing poland, culture shifting and forming ruthenia (take the local noble and not the pu) while keeping your ideas is very powerful and unique, i'm doing it atm and i even got a pu on austria and therefor the emperorship
#9 the russian minors have a mission to change their primary culture to ruthenian. Since they also get missions to get the requiered provinces they are a very good candidate to form it

Before 1.28, it was at least a temporary modifier since ou could just move your cap back (but your TC land would still get the same 5 years of zero Goods Produced as if you'd removed it manually), but with the new cap movement restrictions, re-forming the Mongol Empire as, say, the Great Horde is a terrible, _terrible_ idea.

Forming Mongol Empire can backfire horribly, as doing that moves your capital to Qaraqorum (in Asia), which for example if done by Great Horde->Golden Horde (whose capital is in Europe) will remove their trade companies and cripple income. In my campaign it threw me into over -2k per month.
