Where can I get the batteries for it couldn’t find them

It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).
There's so many different ones available today. I'm currently looking for one. These look good. Thanks for showing 👍

Quick question please - Does the chime connect direct to the actual video for bell unit or do you have to connect it to your phone and therefore keep your Bluetooth? Can I be out with my mobile and the chime still ring for other people on my house?

Gald the video helped you. Ring are great but expensive as you say, I still use this door bell and think it’s a brilliant cheaper option.
The doorbell itself (outside on the wall) makes a sound when pressed, the chime plugged in the house rings also and you can have notification pop up on your phone where ever you are this is done over your 4G network or WiFi if your connect to WiFi anywhere.

Hi, thank you so much for this video, I was busy wondering how I take off the battery cover, and having awful trouble, then you show that tiny screw that has to be turned, there was no mention of that in the instructions!! Has it been streamlined lately, so that you no longer need the ringer unit? Mine came without it! I wish to use external power. The instructions say 90-250V AC which seems a bit high. Some other websites say 18V/500mA. Which one? Also, can I keep the batteries in the unit while using external power or is it just one of the other. I ask because it may be useful if there is a power cut and batteries are a backup?

I have the same one but the app is not sending notifications when the sensor goes off. I tried to change the pir settings and the notifications are enabled on my phone but it doesn’t work still
Can the notification/alert area be set for a specific area? I would like it to cover a certain area to match the design of my yard, and not extend to the street.

The alarm should stop after about 4 times once the door bell is connected to the back plate that attaches to the wall
how did you got that wireless sound when you removed the device from the bracket. Its nice option. Is there anywhere we have to activate it.

Mine didn’t come with wires but The wires will be if you want to connect them to straight to power without using battery’s but I use battery’s for mine.
Check if the screw is already at the bottom of the camera

Great video! I need help. I can't seem to get my device into the paring mode. The device displays a solid blue line around the button which means its paired! I am not sure to what or how. Is there anyway to reset the device without using the button at the back. It was permanently fixed on my door wall by a builder, so I would prefer not to remove it. Thanks for your help in advance!
It’s easy enough to slide the doorbell off the wall once the security screw is undone, I think that’s your best option

Yes you can. I just installed yesterday. it was pretty simple and straight. take off old door bell button, connect two wires to the back case, screw the back case on the wall, then put the door bell unit back to case. done! (just leave the battery case empty, you will be fine).

Mine worked Automatically with no setup required. Maybe try have the plug in close to the door bell and try again to make sure there within range. Let me know how you get on

fritzy rich I believe the 2.4ghz is a minimum requirement and 5ghz is more then enough but your welcome to get other options to make sure that is the case.
@@pwinkle Mine says dont connect to a 5ghz only. I dont know of any modern router that doesnt have both bands though. Check your router specs by googling it, but I'd say you should be safe.

the little allen key screw that holds it onto the unit on the wall is rusted and wont come out. allen key keeps spinning in it. i tried wd40. any ideas how to remove the screw as i need to take it off? thanks
Put duck tape over the screw head and then put the Allen key in the hole, that will give it more grip. Let me know how you get on.

It should save all the footage when the doorbell detects movement and stop after awhile when there’s no movement
I have this, can get everything to work, apart from that someone can press the button, or an activation and it will notify Me 10 minutes later on Phone. or is there a better app to use than Xsh?
Try the device setting and updates see if you need an update. There are other APP, I’ve seen one called “video-doorbell” but I haven’t tried it myself
Last question: can the wireless doorbell chime work with two doorbells?
daryl young I’m not sure if that’s possible. I would imagine you could have two door bells with two chimes. If you get them to try let me know 👍🏼

Hi what may be the cause of a continuous buzzing sound and flashing red light?
Not sure about a buzzing sound, but flashing red will go blue once setup. Have you setup this doorbell before?

@@pwinkle If you attach the existing AC low voltage doorbell wires it will keep the battery charged and you never need to remove it from service.

Hi. I hope this hasn't been asked before but is there a way of turning off the blue light so that it doesn't flash every time someone passes? Or so that it flashes only when pressed? I've switched off the motion detector.

Yes. When looking on the app click on the image of the camera then click on “setting” then go to “LED mode” then set to “Disabled” that should do it
@@pwinkle Thank you so much. I think the doorbell I have is internally different from yours, but externally the same. I've tried everything but the light continues to flash and attract attention from neighbours. There's no LED setting in mine at all that I can find. It's an 'Aiwit'.

XSHCam is the APP you need. Try scroll down as far down as you can go on the page you are looking at, maybe there a box to tick or agree at the bottom

Could you help? I have the same similar unit (after market). indoor chime doesn't work? it is hard wired and hooked up to the original doorbell. everything else worked; connected to app, connected to WIFI... When you push the button, you can hear the chime inside. Thx for reviewing.

As long as you have data usage on your phone you will be able to talk, if you travel to another part of the world just check you have a signal and can use your mobile data from your phone.
Can i use this without a router because i have only a prepaid cart phone to use a wifi hotspot,i was thinking if i put the mobilefhone next to it so that it have a wifi connecting and if some ring the bell i get a message if i am not at home on my other fhone.

@@pwinkle Tried it and it worked, you can connect the cam doorbell to your mobile phone's hotspot. I'm now experimenting how long it will take with a 10 euro prepaid card, if it lasts a month without using much internet then I'm happy. I'm still looking at how I can connect it to the other mobile phones so you can see who's at the door at any place and time. Think I'll make a car alarm out of it hahaha.
if I can make a suggestion, where your router is placed is not a good place for it, unless you have no other choice. Put it where it is not obstructed by anything, and the higher the placement the better.

I figured out my issue. I had a diode connected to my old doorbell, but when I connected the diode to the two screws outside, the doorbell elf constantly ring, because the diode acted as if I connected the two wires together. So I moved the diode to the doorbell chime inside, now the doorbell works, but my chime does it work. I’ll live with for now however🧐
Same problem I encountered... is there any remedy for the chime to work?

Hi can you press the middle button like a door bell & you get a notification on your phone? Even when not at home as long as you’re online?
If you press the doorbell button you can receive a notification to your phone and look at the doorbell camera from anywhere as long as you use your phones mobile data or connect to a another WiFi

Yes you can, I have also made a video to show added another person to the doorbell on my channel
got the same problem with pairing it pairs then goes red tired turning off wifi on phone but then it says wifi not on, still goes red after saying pairing been at it days now with no luck.
Make sure you have the doorbell close to your WiFi router when setting up so you know It not just the WiFi signal that’s the issue. Check out my second video shown below and jump to 1:30 mins in and see if that setup helps you.

Did you turn off your 5G to pair your phone to the doorbell? I ask because I am going to have to do that for mine or walk away so many feet to pair up to the 2.4G.

how do you shut the alarm off after taking it off wall mount?
It will go for about 4 times they turn off, I cover the speaker at the bottom as there’s no setting to turn it off
How can I change the batteries without it alarm??
mine goes off every time i change the battery, i haven't found a way to stop the alarm other then covering the bottom of the camera with tape to make the sound quiet

How do I turn up volume
On the intercom
Make sure the “voice” icon when viewing your camera on the app is press so it’s turned on and make sure the volume on your mobile phone is turned Up. Try that

Clink on the settings and clink on “PIR Detection” and change it to “Low”

Sorry that should say get on!
Another thing to try is, click on the App on your phone then click on the settings symbol above the doorbell picture and click on “push mode” and check it’s on “Notification”.
Or try wiping the sensor on the doorbell itself just to rule it out
@@pwinkle it's on notification. We're hopeful it's a short term thing or a maybe we've got a faulty one.
Question, When installing this on concrete, did you use A drill bit first? If so what size ?
yes i did, use a 5.5mm or 6mm masonry drill bit. they will both be fine. you can also use your own plugs and screws if needed

What size plugs did you use brother? I found the 5.5 bits but not the plugs ( anchors)
@@MoneyMan300008779797 use the same size plugs as you use drill bit. so you can use 5.5mm drill bit and 5.5mm plugs. if the whole you drill seams to loose for the plug for what ever reason you can put a 6mm plug into the whole and use the same screw no problem.

Are the 18650 battery’s your using protected or unprotected 18650?
I’m using unprotected 18650 in mine but protected has more safety to them, here the information I found shown below.
Unprotected batteries do not have this electronic circuit in the cell packaging. Because of this, they can have more capacity and current capability than a protected cell. However, there is always a danger of over heating, short circuiting, or over discharging. Unprotected batteries are also much lower in price.

I just had my doorbell decide to not connect to my phone randomly (and I tried lots of time to connect) so I setup the camera again from the beginning and the camera wasn’t connect to my route / Phone while trying to set up, I NOW have it working and what I had to do was turn the WIFI OFF on my mobile phone and then when I was setting up the doorbell I could chose the correct WiFi route name I was trying to connect to and fill in password then it connected. I’m back up and running 👍🏼

what part is not working? is it the signal (you have the door bell to far from the router) try the door bell closer to the router and try again
Do you have any idea on how to lower the volume or turn off the sound of the doorbell itself? It is so loud it wakes up the whole neighbourhood.
I don’t think there’s a setting to lower the ringing sound outside on the doorbell itself but I would put tape over some of the speak holes to lower the sound
Mines won't come on is batt dead but does come on when I plug a charger to it help
You can try using mains power cables, I’ve put a video together for that. Or make sure your battery’s are changing in another 18650 battery changer would be what I’d try
Make sure the battery’s have a nipple at one end and flat at the other end, if the the battery’s are flat at both ends the battery’s don’t touch and connect
I get the visual alert on my phone but no sound ( call-in set on )the unit rings, the doorbell rings but no audio notification on my phone.
Ok go onto your setting on your phone, then click in notification then click on the SXHcam app then click on sound.

Can you see video click on your app? Or I would remove the micro sd card and check the videos out that way and remove anything you don’t want

Sure, go onto the setting symbol then “push mode” and click on “silence” that should do it

Hello I just purchased this doorbell and was working fine until the first rain and it went kaput, I thought these devices were water proof. Can you please let me know if I did something wrong I think I followed the instructions to the letter.
The door bells are rain roof so that shouldn’t be the issue hopefully. Maybe check the battery’s are charged and working fine
