- Some awesome trails near Bodie CA to ride your RZRs, X3s and Rangers during the summer months. When its hot in Sacramento head to the coast or the high Sierras for some awesome trails and sights. These areas close to one of the most famous ghost towns is best explored by SXS or off-road, but also suprisingly accessible to most regular cars and truck. Just a lot more fun in my opinion with the pin down and the speed up. These epic places are such a secret that some rangers close by don't even know there exist. If you want to make the best memories, then watch to see some of the few things you may find in our National forest Parks.

Great video through an area that never fails to please the explorer. We're making our fourth RZR ride to Bodie next month along the Bodie-Masonic Road that you were on for this video. We take that road all the way to Bodie with a detour over Potato Peak. The following day we will be riding to the top of Patterson Peak for the second time. If you haven't tried this ride I highly recommend it. The summit is 11,673 feet and if the earth was flat you'd be able to see all the way to Japan! Keep making these great videos!
Love your video. Hope to see you on the trail sometime
Great video for exporing
Good video and a cool adventure.
That looks like an ole aerial tram that could have carried ore from the old mine
Awesome way to explore. We are buying a Kawi Teryx soon to fit the family. What the name of that RV park?
Nice to hear about the up coming purchase. I like Bridgeport Marina and campground. They are Sxs welcoming. Paradise Rv park was okay.
@@SXSPro4life Thanks for the RV campground tip. Im guessing you guys took Aurora canyon rd to Bodie state park?
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏
Thank you sharing
Good video buddy 👍🏼
Did or should I ask were you able to ride to Bodie from the RV park or did you have to trailer to a staging area?
Would you recommend Paradise Shore RV Park ?
Right out the gate, cross the street and hit the trails to Bodie and more. Paradise was nice, tight spaces for larger vehicles but had easy access to the lake and some amenities like paddle boards available. Owner was very nice.
Were you guys staying at Paradise Shores?
I wasn’t able to confirm the name of the past trip, but we will be staying at Bridgeport reservoir and marina in a few weeks. Reason we are trying this place is they seemed more receptive to the sxs community.
this is rad- How much mileage do you think you can do off road up there? Wed be coming up from SD area- can you go into Bodie with the RZR?
Miles and miles of trails. Some cool canyons and more. We road right up to Bodie and parked with all the rest of the cars. It was especially cool to come up the hill and see Bodie reveal. One of our must go again places.
Have you guys been out to Chester CA?
No, but I would be happy to hear about any points of interest out that way.
How did you find these trails.
Word of mouth, some x maps, some google, and some off road groups. Patterson and some other springs in the area look promising as well. I will have a few more videos from a recent visit.
Where did you start from?
Nice video
Highway 182 at Bridgeport, then head east.
I don't intend to be a troll but dude! !!You just ignored better judgementent (audible in the the video) to go put your weight and physical activity stress onto a possibly historical structure. Think about that choice man! Leave something cool for the rest of us. All due respect for your good intentions!
Where did you camp at?
Paradise Shores RV camp
