Hopefully trading in my 21 Elantra SEL for a 24 Camry SE AWD in Cavalry Blue this weekend. Im very excited. Never can beat Toyota quality or reliability. My dads got a 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4, 160K miles and not an issues, hes still on the original drum brakes lol.

Great video, thank you for not being funny, not mentioning other videos, not begging for subscribes and upvotes, etc., and not making us watch your face the entire time like other people do :) oh and great car review too, I bookmarked this video, will watch again

Brian. Enjoyed the review. 100% agree with your thoughts on this car. I have a 22SE and very happy with the car 1-1/2 yrs later. The Camry drives and handles well. The 2.5 l 4 cylinder is not peppy off the line (I suspect to reduce wheel spin and to save mpg’s) but mid range it does have a surprising punchiness esp in sports mode. I have FWD and have gotten 42 highway on a road trip. Not bad for a midsize car.

Although it’s an old school sedan for old folks, it’s still very nice. 😊
The new Accord hybrid is totally incredible. 💯 ergonomics. 💯 fuel economy. But huge fails in 1) ugliness 2) overpriced 3) no AWD

A revue in the November Motor Trend rates Accord slightly ahead of the Camry but doesn't revue or even mention Camry's AWD option. I personally like the Accord's new styling but I know AWD is important for many people although
I've had AWD Hondas and Mazdas and never found it necessary on my daily Hwy 401 commute. In winter weather it is always the 4X4's and SUVs in the ditch.

I currently own the 2023 AWD XLE. It is great. The one thing I love about it is that when I floor the pedal it always takes off like a bat out of hell with no wasted wheel spin on any of the tires. Don't get me wrong I love my other 2018 XLE v6 for the extra horses it has but the wheel spin when trying to merge /turn from a stop can annoy me as I watch the other oncoming cars get closer while i'm not moving due to the wheels spinning.

If you include all the options and some protective accessory items with the 2023 Camry SE AWD the MSRP is about $35K, remove the options, and back to basics the MSRP is $30,500. Looking at the difference of $4,500 to have some rather nice Options and amenities or running with plain Jane. Exterior Cavalry Blue and Interior Ash softex look amazing. Thanks, Brian for giving detailed aspects between LE to SE and SE with possible Options. In 2024, you can show us the new 9th Generation Camry. I hope Toyota does not give it a CVT and stays with an 8-speed tranny.

When my 23 Toyota Camry LE was in the shop twice for Spiral Cable and Sensor. My dealership loan me a 22 Camry SE in PreDawn Gray and it was nice. I felt bad for taking it on a 4hr round trip but I had no choice. The 2nd time my 23 Camry LE was in the shop for the same thing. My dealership loan me a 23 Camry SE Nightshade Blue in color. Now that Camry was an Eye Catcher. It was the rims that really set it apart. The Nightshade is my favorite trim on the Camry SE.

The 2024 Camry has been posted on Toyota's Official website on July 7, 2023. Unfortunately, the 2024 Camry will be in its consecutive 7th year as an 8th Generation. The Good News is the 3.5L V6 engine will still be available in 2024.

We traded in our Camry LE, which we bought new (trading in our 2019 VW Passat) and bought a new 2023 Rav 4 Adventure due to needing a small SUV. If we go back to a sedan, it's going to be another Camry, upgrade to XSE. I never thought we would be Toyota fans, but between the 2022 Tacoma Sport we purchased last Sept and the new Rav 4 Adventure, cannot be more satisfied with the quality and value. And our dealer does not engage in mark-ups or dealer add-ons.

@@brianruperti We dropped the prententions with BMW, we always purchased new 3 and 4 series and traded-in at four years, but the specter of reliability and quality always hung, not to mention the real issue- BMW had rapid depreciation so the trade-in values stink. Unlike Toyota as you know, the trade ins are stable years later.

I totally understand. And as a previous BMW lover myself (I had an 86 325es with and engine from a 98 328is and a transmission from a Z3) I understand the remarks you made regarding reliability and resale. It is a fun driving machine but at such a silly cost. Welcome to the Toyota family. 😎

I'm not even in the market for a Camry but checked out the video anyways(came in my feed)😊. You always have the right choice of words in explaining the details of a certain appearance of the car, whether it's interior or exterior. Beautiful car. I always had that stereotypical view that the Camry was a "grandmother/grandfather" car...but I don't think it has that view(nor do I) anymore. I see a lot of 20 somethings driving the Camry. Strange that the Camry did not get the wireless Apple and Android auto when the '23 Corolla did?

I have a 2024 Toyota Camry. I bought it off the lot. It has a few upgrades but still has a key. Is anyone disappointed it has a key? Also that hole in the back where the vents would have been. Why did Toyota leave an empty hole? Those are the 2 things I dont like.. that hole should have been covered
