    I just bought a new 2024 SE in white with $2100 off MSRP at $28,400. My dealer had 4 of the 2024's left so it was now or never. I didn't need nor really want the hybrid. Toyota hybrids are good but I know later I will never have to think about battery replacement and I wanted the 8 speed auto. What I don't fully trust yet is that Toyota went to Lithium batteries now. Can you help answer some questions about the 2025 Camry. I can’t seem to find this information anywhere online, and the dealerships in my area say the car is too new so they don’t know the answers to my questions.
    1. Does the 2025 Carmy have steel knuckles or aluminum knuckles?
    2. Approximately how many shop hours to replace new lithium ion battery in 2025 Carmy under the seat? I’m hoping the new design requires less time to be removed to get the battery out.
    3. Does the 2025 Carmy have an electronically controlled variable oil pump?
    4. Does the ECVT transmission in the 2025 Camry have a slush lubrication system or does it have a dry sump system like the 2024 Prius Prime?
    5. Is the transmission in the 2025 Camry the PB12 transmission like in the 2024 Prius Prime which is lager than what is in the standard Prius?
    6. Does the 2025 Carmy have lug nuts with bolts or did you switch to bolts like on the 2024 Prius?
    7. Does the 2025 have a re-designed Two Piece timing chain cover like the 2024 Prius which was re-designed to eliminate the chances of leaks?

    Not a fan of the new package. I could get use to the look but the 2018 to 2024 just looks sportier. Now, hybrid only, no thank you. CVT transmission, no thank you. My 2020 does not have this big tablet infotainment system in it and blends better with the dash. I don't see myself getting newer then a 2024 model.

    2025 has Softex in the part of the seat that you sweat the most and cloth where you don't really touch. Cloth in the center was way smarter in the 2024.

    I will never buy a car with a CVT and a 4 cylinder. About the worst combination you could ever imagine and they all sound awful. Disgraceful that they eliminated the V6 and I’d pass on this until the hybrid max comes out. At least it has a turbo and a real transmission.

    • @LopezZeta
      @LopezZeta 6 месяцев назад

      Durrrr CVT and 4 cylinder bad, sound awful. V6 more gud! Durrrr. Talk to a Toyota tech about the planetary eCVT and find out how many failures they're having vs a standard metal belt CVT in a Nissan from yesteryear. Wtf do you need more power for? Have you even test drove a hybrid 4 cylinder yet? If you need more speed than that in a Toyota daily driver you're definitely a reckless turd. Go get a wannabe racecar if you want fast, your opinion sucks.

      Turbo models are less reliable. Ford and Chevy proved that with the ecotech and Ecoboost motors. Whether you like it or not, the automotive industry is phasing out large engines for smaller engines. This is due to tighter emissions standards and the push for better fuel economy. If you are complaining about the v6 going away, it is definitely not. The v6 engine is replacing old V8 engines which are now be phased out of sports cars. In a couple years, the market will only be 4 or 6 cylinders.

      eCVT is a tank. We own two Rav 4 primes with the same motor and transition as the 2025 Camry. Our son just bought a Camry 2025 because of the proven power train in the Rav 4 5th generation hybrid. The 8 speed shits too often.
