I loved the intro, I have one more suggestion, whenever you're talking about a particular item like the bridge pro you could use some of the b-roll from the other episodes so we're not just looking at you just talking which will make your videos more cinematic
It's not really a rival to the Magic Keyboard though, more a worthy, cheaper alternative. I have my 2020 11" iPad Pro + Magic Keyboard (plus a LOT of other stuff in a form-fitting, soft-padded Tomtoc shoulder bag with stiffened corners when I'm not using it (like now: I'm at home on my 17" Alienware A51m R2 i9 GTX 2080 Super). Even with a mouse, a 20,000mAh power bank, a small BT mouse, a USB-C dongle, a tiny 1TB SSD and an equally tiny charging plug with PD (and folding prongs, which you really value as a UK traveller: our plugs are the safest in the world, but those prongs bulk out a bag something rotten), all the leads I will ever need to keep everything charged in a hotel room with a stingy single socket, and a pair of AirPods Pro. Yet it's a perfectly easy wander down to the pub or coffee shop without swapping shoulders once. And, as a seasoned business traveller, I know it will easily fit under a plane seat, once I'm able to travel internationally again instead of meeting over Teams. This for me is the perfect solution. It's easy to do up the zips. However, I fear with the Logitech Foilo Touch might just stress the bag beyond its snug, form-fitting limit and put undue pressure on the iPad.
I have the same keyboard case for the 10.5 iPad Pro. The keyboard disconnects but leaves the rest of the case on the iPad. Much better functionality that the one you have. Just wish it came in black, but it has made me a believer in 90% of my work can be done on my iPad.
Can some offer a good review of the apple pencil writing experience? Not just opening and folding and saying: it works! Write a page at least, and tell if the hand is staying uncomfortable or if it hurts, or if the height between the hand and the surface is not very productive for the writing experience. Thank you!!
Apple pencil is really good I recommend getting some sort of case for it when writing cuz it does get slidy and it is comfortable. Get a matte screen protector to help with the glass feel of the ipad screen aswell
I have the Logitech Combo Touch, the detachable keyboard version of this newer Folio Touch, for my iPad 7th gen and I love using my iPad like a compact laptop! iPadOS has gotten good and Mouse/Trackpad support took some getting used to, but I now I use my iPad 7th gen + Logitech Combo Touch case everyday now over my old Macbook Air. If you already have the iPad Pro 11in, I highly reccomend getting this Logitech Folio Touch + Apple Pencil 2nd gen, together it's still cheaper than buying a Magic Keyboard case.
CJ Bro, I believe it should come out on Q4. In my opinion, they've launched first the 11 inch model because of the costs - which is less impactful to them to produce and of everything goes wring, it's less money spent - and to check if consumer would buy it and also waiting for the reviews to come out. Depending on the sales feedback and reviews, they will start producing the 12.9 inch and the updates. That's how I would think and jugging by the reviews, they should produce it. If they start producing in the following months, I would say in Q4 should be available.
Love your content, man! You approach your work like a regular person would and that means everything! You got another sub 👍🏾. I’m considering getting this case because I dropped my 11” iPad Pro in the magic keyboard case and have scuffs and slight damage to the corners, which wouldn’t have happened if I had the Logitech keyboard case. Again, thanks Nando!
Depends on what you need it for!! 🤷🏾♂️ I don’t regret mine at all 💁🏾♂️ this is a great value, but I love the pass through and being able to detach it entirely
Nando! Lots of people giving advice throughout the comments which is awesome. Because that means you’ve got a lot of love and people wanting you to succeed. I’ve been following you since the end of last year when you came up in my feed. The videos are good. Nice work on the intro. I’d try to carry that push for excellence throughout the video. Perfection isn’t reality but that’s what we like to see. So make sure lap use is filmed with a clean background, not the cable jungle. But hey, desk organization/cable management follow up video!? 😜 Keep up the good work. Oh and loved the Splitscreen vid. Surely Apple opens that up natively sooner than later but nice to have the ability to extend in the meantime.
Just got mine from amazon.... love mine so far the trackpad works perfectly and it feels very premium all around no lag at all with keyboard or trackpad.. only downside I would say is that it for sure makes it a lot heavier but being able to fold the keyboard back and how protective the case is made it more worth it to me then the apple keyboard
Just bought mine yesterday and using it right now. I LOVE IT. My one con is just that it takes up some space, length wise in order to have the screen more angled. It takes some getting used to with how far back the screen is in comparison to the Apple cases.
No doubt a great value keyboard/trackpad solution for the iPad, but I personally cannot stand the edges being covered. Not only does it make the iPad look bulky, but it’s harder to remove and because of this, dirt and dust will inevitably build up inside. Edgeless cases, although offer less protection, are much more elegant in my opinion.
I have an iPad Pro 2018 with a Apple Folio Keyboard. I am also using a Hyper Drive which attaches to the side of the iPad with the Folio Keyboard. Will I still be able to attach it with the Logitech Folio Touch on the iPad? I don’t think so since the iPad now sits in the cover that surrounds the sides of the iPad.
Fernando, Great video. You did help me make a decision between the Logi vs. Magic. I really like the Logitech, the keyboard works very well, but I’ve had problems with the trackpad. Once I got it, I immediately installed the newest firmware and did it completely without interruptions. Then, while having issues with the trackpad, I check all of the settings, but upon reviewing the web.......there is a known issue with the trackpad. Rather than contact Logitech, I ordered a replacement from Amazon. Just wanted you to know about the issue. Again, great video on the Logitech, as well as others that you do. PS: Although I’ve had the original Apple Pencil for the past 5 years, I changed to the Logitech Crayon instead of getting the Apple Pencil Gen 2 and like it very much......although it’s shaped like a mechanical, the feel and texture work well for me. Maybe you can do a comparison between the Crayon vs. Apple Pencil Gen 2. Keep up the great work, Tim.
if you flip the keyboard to the back, lay it flat on a table and start writing with the pencil, do the keyboard keys trigger from the pressure from writing?
I’ll keep my old Slim Folio Pro for lugging around on the road and just go with out the touch pad. I just bought the magic keyboard on eBay in an auction , barely used for £220 so I am going to stick with this set up. The Touch version is very compelling but I like to laze on my bed and use my iPad Pro too with a stand
My biggest question would be if the stand holds up. I had the first Logitech Slim Keyboard case with smart connector for the gen 112.9 Ipad Pro. The stand didn’t hold up well. I have the Brydge for my 2018 12.9 IPad Pro but at the moment at home I’m using Ipad on a stand to raise it visually with a Logitech K811 and Magic Trackpad. Since I use the Pencil a lot for photo editing and also notes I would be inclined to try this over the Magic Keyboard ( also use a hub and external drives). When I upgrade my IPad Pro in the future assume I’ll have similar choice and might choose the Logitech.
Great video❗️I am still deciding on which one to get. I had to make a list of con and pro for both the Logitech and Apple cases and I am leaning towards the Apple. Intro looks very professional👍✅✅⌨️🤔🤔
How is this case compared to Logitech Slim Folio? Does using this keyboard case as daily case will draws more battery since it’ll be connected to smart connector instead of bluetooth where you can connect/disconnect it?
Fernando, I’m student and I’m using my iPad in note taking so much i mean with the pencil, so is it practical to buy this keyboard or should i buy another isolated keyboard with cover something like Folio so it will be not heavy and so !
Wondering if the USB-C power connection on magic keyboard is worth it. Apart from cosmetics seems to be the major difference between the two keyboards.
I use it all the time for charging and frees up the port on the iPad Pro for a dongle or charging my iPhone. Honestly that extra port is a game changer for me. I use it a ton
I paid 240ish for the Apple keyboard including tax do you think the jump from 170ish with tax on this is worth it or should I sell the Apple one and move to the Logitech
For those who plan to use the ipad pro 70% of the time but still want a keyboard, and protection, would you suggest the logitech, magic keyboard, or smart keyboard?
Rob Str As long as you slide it into the little sleeve it seems to be alright, I seem to be having no problems at the moment with it. Hope this helps! :)
Loving the content from you dude :) My only criticism is I think you should be a little more perfectionist with the script. You’re mixing up words sometimes - I’m sure people like MKHBD and Dave Lee do that all the time except they are going back to re-record the segment. If you’re not already you should probably write out a script and rehearse it. You’ll then see sometimes you’re repeating yourself or going over similar points more than 1 time. If you can fix that each video you do will feel so much more clean and you’ll have a shorter video that will keep people’s attention.
Hi can someone pls reply who has this keyboard. I tried the apple magic keyboard however the trackpad is loud in really quiet places. Is the logitech keyboard the same how loud is the click can someone compare both’s click sounds.
Pilates Bumps Beyond Online I had that issue. Download the Logitech control app, make sure the keyboard Case is updated to the latest firmware (in the app), but before that make sure your iPad is updated to the latest firmware.

The trackpad is NOT identical to the Apple trackpad. It sucks, the trackpad doesn’t always register your swipes and the diving board design is horrendous. I had one for my iPad Air 3rd gen and sent it back. MUST turn on tap to click to use it at all. Do not recommend.

Such a great buy for the price! Thankful for your different angles you looked at in all your reviews! Loved that Montage at the beginning!!
Waiting for the 12.9 version
Imagine the weight for the 12.9” version
C H NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
When is it coming out?
I hope to god it comes out
Same tho
4:45 dat cable management 😂
bought mine bc of this video. thanks for all your insights!! very VERY helpful
Glad it was helpful!

bought the magic keyboard today, just went for it. and i gotta say.
worth it. u might as well have the best accessories if u getting the ipad pro.
This is the GOAT of all comments. If you’re buying the best, why not buy the best accessory
Fernando Silva that was my thinking but I really didn’t want to buy the 300 dollar magic keyboard and then a 50-100 dollar case on the side
Only the best for the best. Agreed!

Thanks for sharing Tony! I agree, the keyboard is the only alternative to a magic keyboard as of now
This keyboard looks great. I would just love to see it in a black finish and, of course, i'll wait for the 12.9 inch.
Giancarlo Solbiati when that 12.9 drops. i will be the first waiting
When do you think the 12.9 will drop?

mia i Thanks! I really hope they release one for the 12.9 soon!
I say, if you don't mind spending the money, you will fall in love with the magic keyboard!
Yeah guess they have a deal with apple not to make a 12.9 version? I’m guessing since apple helped them with it.

The boneheads at Logitech have the technology for detachable keyboard and they didn’t use it here, making this product a dud.
Hi baby😍
There are only 88 comments atleast respond to the doubts man.......
what doubts do you have?
My guess is that we won’t see this keyboard for the iPad Pro 12.9 so apple can keep making that $$ from their magic keyboard 12.9
The pain of pulling the iPad out of its case is a deal breaker.
Why do you even need to do it?
Weili Xu because it’s a tablet maybe ? Sometimes you don’t want it in a case on a desk but simply enjoy it while lying in bed for example.
Benoit Elie That makes sense. I think u got always make some compromises between protection and handiness. I would feel safer though if a had a case with it, even if it’s on the bed.
