That’s unreal value for money. In this price point, Cadisen and Pagani just can’t be beat. Although I have to admit, I have never liked the Submariner style. Thanks as always for a great review!
Great review, John. This Cadisen no right looking that good for that price! I’m very impressed. I don’t think I can pull off that wingspan, but I’m sure this will look great on a nato or rubber strap.
Thank you for this detailed presentation of the Cadisen C 8210 M. On the other hand, I don't understand your aversion to the Glidelock clasp! (which you fail to present completely) It is undoubtedly the most practical thing available today thanks to its possible quick and simple adjustments. (It is not without reason that Rolex uses the same....) Perhaps you have had the misfortune of coming across imperfect models but this is not a generality and cannot call into question the practical side of this clasp which, I hope, will continue to be fitted to as many watches as possible.
Thanks for your comment. This is not a proper glidelock system and has been proven to fail many times across many Chinese brands that use it. Sorry but based on my experience with it on this watch and others, I cannot recommend it. It is poorly made and does not function effectively.
@@johnswatchjoint You're really out of luck because, for my part, I have several tribute watches equipped with this clasp to my greatest satisfaction. It is true that I had to use my “DREMEL” a few times to perfect some details. (as with other clasps by the way....)
Another quality review John. Was pleasantly shocked with the lume as wasn't expecting too much. Dont mind the clasp personally, like the glidelock style rather than micro adjusts. For £60 very happy with mine 👍
Hi John, newly subscribed and enjoying the channel. Can i ask, as a UK resident, what, as a percentage, would be the additional costs on top of the £60 (duties, etc.)?
Hi William. The £60 quoted was the price I paid in full inclusive. I left a note in the description for clarification. When you click the affiliate link it will take you to the sales page. As soon as you get there, follow the store. Then go through putting the item in your basket...you are not committed yet. Look for discounts coupons etc and add to the basket, this will take original price down. Proceed and this will take you to your summary page on PayPal and you will see the full final price. Hope this helps :)
@@johnswatchjoint Note to self: watch the video then read the bloody description! Thanks for the swift reply, John. As an AliExpress first-timer that's very helpful info. I'm not a cyclops fan, so I won't be buying this particular watch, but I look forward to your further recommendations. Do your previous affiliate links remain valid?
I never owned a submariner design. Different design, different prices, but which one between this one and the Seestern titanium Tudor homage do you prefer?
Hi buddy. It's horses for courses really. I try to buy watches that will offer value across a large price range. For £60 the Cadisen is a great beater watch you can wear with pride but the Seestern is in a different league. I like both but the Seestern, now that the clasp will be rectified, is what I personally like in a watch. Light , stylish, rugged and I can pretty much wear it for anything. Hope this helps :)
Sorry but I do not make the watch. You would have to contact the supplier. I do not think the sizes would be the same but it's always better to find out yourself :)
Do you have any symptoms of glow in the dark even when the clock hands are bright? My cadisen c8210 is white even when the clock index is bright, but only the clock hands look green, which is annoying to my eyes
How do you know if the watch has AR coating? Mines doesn't look like my other Watches with AR which redice the size of lampshades. This watch makes them massive 🤔
It's a nice looking watch, no doubt about it. Of course the colour isn't grey, it's "Rodium"! 😂 But I can't look past the misaligned bezel. Swell! It's misaligned but you can mitigate it because the bezel action is spongy! I tell myself: at least two person in the manufacturing process simply don't care: the person who applies the bezel inserts and the person who does the QC! 🙈
@@johnswatchjoint John, there were one or two I agreed with! There is nothing wrong with some nice healthy little controversy, right? 😁 For my part, I'm dreading the day when everyone shares my opinion!
Great review! I've never liked this bezel style but its tempting nonetheless. The plain case backs seem odd nowadays but not that long ago it was very common to engrave them as awards and gifts for employees or husbands etc so it makes sense.
Can't really complain too much for 60 quid. But come on Cadisen get that clasp sorted. When it comes to opening the clasp with a screwdriver it's a no go.
Does the clasp have the glide lock mechanism? I've fooled around with a few of these clasps and its frustrating to get them to release with a fingernail. The Cronos version works great so it can be done, for a price I suppose.
I am not disputing its not great value for money. There is more to it than that. I think the raised numbers on the bezel look cheap, cast or pressed? Whatever. I have seen big brand watches with this same finishing and I feel the same about them as well. That Pagani style clasp is a real dud as well. I would rather pay a bit more and get a watch I have no disappointment with. Not all reviews go my way. I am still budget conscious though, I won’t pay more than I need for features I can get cheaper. Style permitting. So on this one, it’s a No from me. PS I said the same sort of thing on a review on watching James, six months later I bought the watch 😂
No problem...everyone has their own opinion. For someone looking for a great watch for £60 it ticks a lot of boxes , not all of them and I appreciate it's not everyone's style but It's still worth a review :)

Pagani and Cadisen are pretty much the same when it comes to quality. The watch heads are executed well but bracelet choices are always a bone of contention !

Thank you Albert. Appreciate it :)
I love when brands play around the 12 o clock position like the Timex Q, it's a great touch
Got this and my 60 minute marker is placed correctly, no issues with anything. Stunning watch, extremely good value for money.
It punches well above its weight doesn't it? ;)
@@johnswatchjoint absolutely 👍

Great review, John. This Cadisen no right looking that good for that price! I’m very impressed. I don’t think I can pull off that wingspan, but I’m sure this will look great on a nato or rubber strap.
I did try on a NATO but it looked ridiculous on my wrist. Even though the clasp is awful it still looks best on an oyster...at least on me hahaha!
@@johnswatchjoint Ahaha good to know that NATOs are a no-go with this one 🤣
Your 200th like! Keep it up! This watch is a stunner.
Thanks, will do!
Hi Mate,
Good review! I enjoyed watching. I have the orange dialed version and i'm happy for the price. Did you notice the typo on the caseback yet?
I no longer have it but at 56 years old I may have missed it haha!

Unfortunately anything you have to use a Dremel on shouldn't be shipped in the first place 😔
The stiff clasp could be improved by removing some material of that little "tooth" with a nail file or something similar
'loose' bezels are for me on a dive type watch a deal breaker. I use my Steeldive 1953 as a benchmark which has a great feel and sound bezel.

Good to hear Rich. The clasp on this one is a nail breaker for sure! Haha!
😆 won't mind when it loosens off a little!

About the clasp... I know it seems unintuitive, but try pulling up on the other side of the clasp. That usually is a lot easier.
Yeah...done all of that. Handled a few of these now and they are definitely more miss than hit!

Cadisen should move their triangular logo to the twelve o’clock position.

The clasp can be replaced for a few dollars if the supplied one isnt good enough. I would buy this and save 99% of my money for a worthy cause.

Got a couple of cadisen watches , not bad for the money .
I like them. They would do well on the high street here!
Quite a piece, if only Cadisen could use a simple logo....
Too bad the logo looks the same as Canadian Tire.
Sorry. Just had a look and do not see the resemblance at all. There is no red upside down triangle on this watch.???
