    Love that you get straight to the point in this video. Also thank you for clarifying why the Kraken X sound quality is bad, after reading/watching plenty of reviews you are the only one that really into detail on that

    Found both of them at around 30 dollars in an amazon warehouse deal (like new) and this video really helped me choose the normal kraken. Really like the production quality, so you definitely deserve more than the 25 views you've gotten!

    I had a Kraken X but it broke literally in half (it’s still usable btw I glued it lol) so after a time I needed a new one, I bought the Kraken and I realized from the first hearing test (It was really strange btw) in CS:GO that I don’t really hear the details, I mean I can’t really tell where is the enemy, I can say which direction but I can’t really tell how close it is or how far it is from me.
    Now with the Kraken X I could hear the tiny details, such where the enemy really is and how far was it.
    I like both of them but if you want to play shooting game, where you really need to hear the tiny details like CS:GO or Valorant, I really recommend the Kraken X one. :)

    • @horsza
      @horsza Год назад

      @@icovertttt Yes, I tried it and it made it even worse. It made it a bit louder but still wasn’t helping with the hearing of tiny details. Plus if you heard a bit of details you couldn’t really tell from which direction and how close it was. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain but it sucks.

    In case if you still haven't found a solution to your laptop not detecting your mic and headphones, the solution is you click on the windows logo on the bottom left and search realtek audio console then go to device advanced settings then set it to headset not headphone. Hope this helps!

    I don't know man... In two weeks from now i will test the cloud 2 myself, maybe im not sound expert but the krakan TE are really nice and i wore the cloud 2 for couple of t hunts in rainbow six and it didn't really blow my mind, not in comfort and not in sound. Maybe when i will test them i will notice and maybe order a pair for myself. But i really don't know. Footsteps sound nice on my TE and most of the sound "problems" are simply Ubisoft fault bc the sound in R6 is trash. On valorant i hear players in the left building behind me on the second floor. And in non fps games the sound was nice too.

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  3 года назад +2

      Honestly, if the Kraken TE works out for you then it's all good and you don't have to feel obligated to switch. If you don't have anything else on hand to A/B test with it doesn't sound that bad.
      I'm not a sound expert either, but I've tested a ton of headsets in different scenarios. To me, they're not as good as most of the competition. But sound preference and comfort are ultimately subjective.

    Great review, man, if not a little too critical, LOL! But an honest review. You definitely deserve more views! I'm trying to make a white setup and I'm struggling to find a good but on-a-budget white headset. I was more inclined to this Razer Kraken (the standard/Multiplatform), but you make it sound like none of these two are good options. I was also thinking on the Edifier G4TE Hecate, but I didn't like its looks very much, also its earcups are made of fake leather that peel off with time and they aren't replaceable. Can you recommend me a budget (up to ~$75 ) white headset that sound as good as possible for the money? I own a Logitech G430 for years, but the sound quality isn't great, so I want an upgrade (a white upgrade :P). The most important aspects for me are sound quality for music, noise isolation (I live in a noisy house and neighborhood), and must have 7.1 surround sound (no problem if it's just virtual/emulated).

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  2 года назад +1

      Tough one, I bought a ton of headsets, but none of them come in white. Except there's a special edition of the BlackShark V2 Pro that's white. Way over $75 though.
      One white device I was able to test in-store was the Corsair Void RGB Elite. Warm sound and decently comfortable but I don't own it so I can't recommend it unfortunately.

    • @heitorchaves5144
      @heitorchaves5144 2 года назад +2

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews These ones you reviewed here aren't white, but they are available in white as well. Man, I wanted the Corsair Void RGB Elite so badly for a long time, I fell in love for it the first time that I saw it in a live stream, but I couldn't buy it before; now that I can buy it, it's unavailable everywhere! It seems it's discontinued. Only the black one can be found. :/

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  2 года назад +1

      @@heitorchaves5144 Dang, I'm not sure where you live but I used the white ones in a couple Best Buys in California just two days ago. www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-void-rgb-elite-wireless-stereo-gaming-headset-white/6360426.p?skuId=6360426
      Though I guess it's not completely white. There's also a sale right now for the SteelSeries Arctis 5 that's white on Amazon. Those sales end pretty fast, but that headset is good overall for the price.

    • @heitorchaves5144
      @heitorchaves5144 2 года назад

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews I'm in Brazil, so if I buy from a US store, it must be online. I looked for the white version (I know it's not completely white, no problem) of the Corsair Void on Amazon, but it's unavailable there. It's also unavailable in every online store in Brazil; as I said, I can only find the black one. The Best Buy link you provided is for the wireless version, but I want the wired one (sorry, I forgot to mention), but thank you so much, I appreciate it. About the Arctics 5, I don't know, I saw a review of the Arctics 3 yesterday (watch?v=cBWD-GMGE_A) and the guy said that, although its highs, mids, and lows are great, it doesn't have enough bass to satisfy his needs; and he also said that it doesn't have a good noise isolation, that you can hear yourself, everyone and everything around you. I don't know if the Arctics 5 has the same cons, but anyway, the Arctics 5 is kinda expensive in my country ($141), more than I can afford, unfortunately. But thanks for your recommendation.

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  2 года назад +1

      @@heitorchaves5144 Oh, sorry about the wireless link, forgot there were two versions since they were the same price in my store. Yeah that's accurate about the Arctis 5 as well when it comes to bass. Honestly the only headsets decent bass that I've tried are the Astro 40/50 and Cloud 2/Alpha (the latter two need lots of EQ boost to get there).
      And true noise isolation is really only done well by the A40 with the mod kit. On top of that, to get a white version of the latest model, you have to order it custom which is overkill $.
      I'm not sure there's a headset that ticks all the boxes of white, great highs, mids, and lows, great noise isolation, and under $75 - even in the US. I think every gaming headset nowadays has some version of surround sound effect though. One might be out there that does everything, but I tried the best ones from the biggest brands.
      For my next batch of products I was actually about to start buying some more expensive traditional headphones since I feel like if I want legit bass and a richer sound I'm not going to get it with gaming headsets. At least not for under $200.

    Aye what about Kraken Ultimate? Is it improved? What can u say

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  2 года назад +1

      My understanding is that it's the same thing as the Kraken but it has a USB card that connects to Razer Synapse and THX Spatial Audio.
      So, not really an improvement since you can use 3rd party EQ software instead. I still need to buy the Ultimate to test myself though.
