Bernstein escribió y enseñó que para dirigir bien una partitura no basta con saberla de memoria, hay que adentrarse en la mente del compositor y una vez allí robarle el temblor del alma, esto es lo que baila Salenko, she is this beautiful score, she can say, I´m Aurora!🥰🥰🥰🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷🎻🎶

I prefer the original score to aurora’s solo in the second act. If you don’t know it, you might have herd it during the 3rd act as one of the jewels solos.

the neoclassical choreography is absolutely stunning, but i feel like it doesn't really go with the style of sleeping beauty

Agree. Also doesn't use the space well or use the music as Petipa and Tchaikovsky intended. I'd pay to see Iana do barre exercises, but I don't know that many other ballerinas could have made this choreography look good. Is Duato the one who redid Bayadere?

May I just say that "choreographed by Nacho Duato after Ivan Vsevolozhsky" is a little misleading, as Vsevolazhky was the theatre director at the time and did some design work but did not himself choreograph. But I may join Marquee just for the chance to see Iana dance any full-length. She is just brilliant.
