    That was positively devine! The soloist and the whole production. The movement and the music were perfectly integrated to create a larger expression than the two elements individually.

    Impressione di levità fatta tensione elanista motile ed eterea . Seriazione di passi sulle punte in eundo veloce da parte della ballerina sempre attenta alle pose figurali. MOLTO BRAVA.BIGHIN GIULIO RENZO

    She is very pure in technique. I like that very much.
    2:13 mark, I bet the corps member that messed up and ran into her got an earful after that performance.

      Kerry Takashi she was on a line with the other girls until she paused to NOT run into Aurora. I suspect it was actually Aurora's mistake.

      @@lilibetp No it was the Corps person who made the mistake. Instead of pausing to let her pass, she tried to go around her in the same direction Ould-Braham was dancing.

      No, it wasn’t. I noticed too how she was in the way because of being slow in time.

    Her port de bras is stunning and her technique is sufficient. She’s kind of lacking in the stage presence department, hope she fixes that because she could be an amazing performer!

      What do you mean by "stage presence" ?

    • @djr7144
      @djr7144 2 года назад +2

      She is supposed to be a ghost or spirit in this act right? Maybe that is why she is not putting too much expression or stage presence in her dancing.

      @@M10n15u3h5 Overall charisma. Doesn’t really have anything to do with technique. Honestly I can’t explain it, but if you’ve ever watched Diana Vishneva, Maria Aleksandrova or Sylvie Guillem you’ll know what I’m talking about.

      @@djr7144 Charisma doesn’t mean you have to overact, it’s the opposite. It’s when you don’t have to resort to circus tricks and and hyperbolic expressions to convey emotions. Also, her disposition is exactly the same here as it is in the first and the third acts where she’s supposed to be celebrating her birthday and wedding respectively.

      Perhaps, Nureyev wanted an icy performance? She was ethereal. She was untouchable. Just look at the costumes and set; do you see any gay vivacious colors? The music itself was somber and elegiac.

    When was this filmed? I was completely distracted by thinking I saw Hannah O'Neill. I'm so proud that she made coryphee a while back; I love it when a dream comes true :)

    As someone who portrayed Aurora in my local ballet company, just looking at her feet is making me cringe. And the fact that she's not making any real facial expressions... wtf mate.

      Elizabeth, there’s nothing wrong with her feet. Bet your Aurora’s overdramatic. Just stay local.

      Elizabeth Mojica Do you think all dancers should dance with a fake smile on their faces that looks like it has been plastered on their faces with stiff stuff, like the girls on ballet competitions? If your opinions were so valid you would be the world renowned ballerina, not her.
