I really hope someday I can afford a super large tank and keep large fish... I definitely need a lot more experience in this Hobby but if I live long enough I'm hoping to get there someday... Wasn't able to keep aquariums until this year when I finally stopped driving a Semi Tractor Trailer for the last 30 years... Loving this Hobby and love your videos as it gives me the motivation to reach for that Trophy Display Tank full of Cichlids... 😊😎🤙

First, I really enjoyed you're video guys. I either have or have owned every single fish that you profiled here. Yours are big and beautiful. Having been in the hobby like forever so long that most of those fish back in the day weren't even available. I really do love my haps and peacocks, but if i could only pick one, which, by the way, is totally impossible, my absolute favorite is the fossocromis rostratus. Many years ago, when i first came across that fish, i fell in love with it and had to have it. Well, that's it, guys. i love all you're video's and respect what you all do. Take care, and god bless

I think the Tangerine tiger, Taiwan reef and red empress are protomelas, not placidochromis. Not being petty I just wanted to let you know. Your Malawi hawk is huge! Really enjoyed the video, very entertaining. I plan to start uploading some vids soon.

Love watching your channel! I got a 36 gallon bow front and my wife finally decided, she likes the Apistogramma. I have no knowledge of cichlids. We like to do a community tank. I already have the substrate in, 1"dirt 2" sand as the plan as always been for it to be somewhat to heavily planted. SOME of what i read is that with this size tank, 1 male & 2 female max however that is not the "consensus" very hard to find reliable info. I need some help getting the cichlid count down to figure out what others I may or may not be able to put with it/them. Is 2 males even doable? I really don't want to deal with breading..if just 1 male, how do they act when they are the only cichlid? Certainly don't want him being depressed. This is all flexible but cardinal tetras, starry pleco and cherry shrimp seem like a decent community?

Most of these conman haps are peaceful. Aggressive only when spawning.
I have red empress, blue dolphin, deep water, Taiwan reef and Zimbabwe rock. I will definitely say they are lot peaceful compared to mbunas. I don’t have any peacocks in my tank.
