Thank you, and thank you for enjoying my fish. Unfortunately he is no longer with us… there was a chlorine disaster a week ago. Full video on it 😭. Very sad time!! Just added new fish, though.
Changing a normal tropical community tank includes angels, gouramis, clowns and a few larger tetras slowly over to a African peacock tank what peacock’s can I add to start the change over hopefully the more friendlier common fish the better
My advice would be to do it all at once. Rehome all the community fish, adjust your pH if necessary with something like aragonite sand and/or crushed coral, and then add 5 or so peacocks at a time. They're just too mean for those community fish and they would probably destroy them, maybe while you sleep.

@@QE1beth FINALLY! You're the only one who's admitted it so far 🤭
@@QE1beth African cichlids would destroy your angels. I would look at some geophagus cichlids. Depending on the size of your tank, some smaller ones like my red headed tapajos would work. If you have a large tank of six feet in length or more you could start looking at some other geophagus options.
Here's mine:
Vc10
Venustus
Red fin ob borleyi
Red fin borleyi
Z rock
Ob fryeri
Electric fryeri
Eureka Jake
Otterpoint Jake
Star sapphire
Deep water hap
Red shoulder
Dragon blood ob
Lemon Jake
Canary yellow ob
Chitimba peacock
Ob red empress
Albino red empress
Ndiwe fire hap
Taiwan reef
Albino Turkish
Blue neon peacock
Super red albino peacock
Lawanda peacock
All in 125 gallon
That’s a great selection! I always wanted a turkis, but never in stock. How’s that otter point? Is he a terror?
@@CichlidCharmer my otterpoint almost looks like my lemon Jake. But top dorsal is slightly different in pattern and rest of the fins as well. Picture a yellow eureka, but yellow not that bright. But the fins are so long he's great.
And I have the albino Turkis and he's gotten pretty big. One of my first guys in my original 55 gallon. Almost looks like a benga sunshine peacock.
@@CichlidCharmer wish I could show you the tank
@@CichlidCharmer my venustus has really been popping the blue alot more since being in the 125. The vc10 has been popping more blue little by little.

Are these all males? That's what you're supposed to with African Cichlids right? Have a male only tank because they're aggressive towards females?
After watching the entire video I know the answer.
Also you have no females so lithibates might be waiting for a lady.
Love your aquarium, what breeders do you get your fish from?
Sorry I thought I answered this. I’ve had good fortune with Snake River and Imperial Tropicals. I’ve heard good things about Ron’s cichlids and Ivan Pitre on fb.
