My ubuntu 18.4 LTS freezes while installation .. after trying hard, I was able to install it .. did sudo update and upgrade too but i am seeing that after few minutes everythhing freezes and get stucked.. I have to do a force restart everytime.. just for information - I am using gigabyte 250 motherboard, 16gb single RAM, 2 TB harddisk and a good circle stick cabinet ..
I already have Ubuntu installed in my older systems and they never showed this problem..

No, You can choose install Ubuntu. If you want to remove windows.... just format or delete the drive where you installed windows

Linux is to easy but You will enjoy it if you can learn it properly. No, You will not get all windows application in Linux. I think you should install dualboot so you can use linux and windows at a time. After learning linux then you can remove windows.

How can i be expert in Linux whenever i never use it?

when i try to install Ubuntu 16.04 by my USB Stick, it skips the installation process ( in which the dialogue box appears asking whether you want to "Try Ubuntu" or "Install Ubuntu". when i click on "Install Ubuntu 16.04" Icon, it shows system error detected. and it neither gets installed nor updated. i even updated from Terminal but once i restarted..everything was gone and the system was all new. i'm stuck.
PS: I have formatted my C partition and currently no other OS is installed on my system.

you can access root user by entering your password.
for example open terminal then type "sudo su" without quote then press enter then enter your password to access root user

Open disk and try to format your drive, if it fails then install an apps called gparted. then try to format that drive using gparted. If it fails then think about reinstalling ubuntu

Yes I said because it may harm your ssd.
So try to use try to use hard-drive for wap area. If you got only ssd then choose a smaller swap partition.

you need to install ubuntu somewhere, So yes you can delete one drive for free space and you can use that free space for installing ubuntu

I download the ubuntu 16.04.1 and update my computer, it takes away all funtions to do with the mouse pad, cant use my touch pad.
unlock your touch pad. for my case I use function+f7 key to unlock my touch pad but it can be different for u. google it using your laptop brand name (if u are using laptop).

Just make swap drive and ext4 using mount point / click here 9:06 leave rest black then after installing use Disk apps or Gparted apps for partition . You will find tutorials about how to use gparted apps .

I was selected ext2 file system for making personal drive. You should seleck ext2 file system for making personal drive And I selected ext4 jurnaling file system because here I installed operating system.
and you don't have to wary abut sda1 or 2 or 3 it will select automatically

Hello, I'm having trouble installing the software. Once everything is installed and It tells me to restart my computer, it restarts and then ask me to do the same process all over again. Can anyone help me please??? I checked for defects and it says everything is ok. not sure what to do next.

Nuruddin Sayeed thanks, tried that too. Once drive is removed, it's like I didn't install anything. And the boot load up is set on 1.ssd, 2.usb. It loads the USB without any problem, but not the SSD.

you need to download it as an iso. Download Power Iso off the internet and put the iso onto a usb/disk. Boot up your pc clicking f2/f12 and click on the memory stick. Sub if i helped
