Actually Justin - you are both right although in the case of this 1988, you are more right. Mercury bought the brand in the early 1990’s and owned it until it died out in mid 1990’s.

I don't mean to be rude in correcting you but Force was made by Chrysler not Mercury. I only know because I have one.
