Assembled my 2022 Evo this morning and I'm blown away. I had some premium products in the past but the 'unpacking experience' is genuinely an experience. Assembly is dead easy, massive instructions and assembly video online to accompany it. I know spending over £400 on a gaming/office chair is a lot, not everybody can afford it, but considering the technology, materials used and comfort I'm surprised it doesn't cost twice as much! I looked at many reviews before purchasing, all saying Secretlab is the best, and I can completely agree with it!! I absolutely love it!

Mate, If only 100% of companies had the confidence to sell their product to a camera like this. Thankyou. PS. I DO NOT agree with you website suggesting 189cm+ height to go for the XL chair on the EVO series... I just sold my 6 month old 2020 XL as the seat base and the arm rests are far too wide unless your well over 100kg.... (The new and the old XL are the same width seat base and arm rests). The XL provided zero support on the sides, and even with armrests fully inward they were out to the side, you couldn't get your weight under you. If your tall but a healthy BMI Don't get the XL! I'm 6'6 and 94kg.

To me - this is a very true "mint green". its more green than blue if that helps... also - if you order your chair and hate the color or anything, you have 45 days to return it.. so dont open the box completely if you hate the color

@@starwarz8479 nah, the head rest sticks fine. Unless I yank from incline to upright, other than that it's fine. And the lumbar mechanism made minimal noise, doesn't bother me
@@dexterie for me who weight 60-65kg the chair feels good. I wish you could take the lumbar support out a little bit more but its alright. You can always use a pillow if necessary. I sit around 3-4h a day on the chair and for that its good! The only complain I have is the lumbar support not going out more but it works for me still.
@@Frankincense_ yes i ordered the small size because im short too. I never use a pillow but I can always do that if I wants to. The fact that I can change the position of the lumbar support makes a big difference. Its a heavy cost for a chair but for me its been worth it. As long as i can keep this for 4+ years its all good. Hopefully they come out with a even better chair
Just as a suggestion. I know cyan blue, teal and turquoise are all very popular and desirable colours in chairs ( plus not many competitors have chairs in those colours ). I think they’d be very popular if SecretLab made chairs in those colours :)

I just received my chair last week. I ordered the Evo 2022 Series Regular - Softweave Plush Fabric Plush Pink. I was impressed with how fast it was delivered!. My husband put the chair together yesterday so I've only used it for 24 hours now and I am definitely impressed so far. I hope this chair meets my expectations in the long term. 🤔

I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black. The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

know what would be SUPER COOL if secret labs sold the back base and arm rests as single items so people can upgrade their old chairs when they start wearing down instead of pay the full hog for the single chair then when they have them as solo peaces they can intergrate specialized versions for people with longer legs narrower forms etc and make the chair fully modualr instead of selling as a series. tho i know they won't do this but the first chair company that does will prob be able to market multiple backs for different occasions and sell storage bags for them too.

Nice man I’ve had my 2018 titan since March 26 2019 and it’s still look brand new about the only complain is the seatbase if I sit for a couple hours and stand up it takes a while for the cushion to come back up lol

You need softer seats in the XL line. Big folks need more padding. To firm hurts our backs badly. The pressure of the seat will mess with us. Hope these are softer than the previous XL.

The chair is good, but saw many complaints of quality issue. Such as bumps on Leather and misalignment of the back seat against the seat base. 100% Out Going Quality check is very important before shipment to Customer.

The TITAN Evo 2022 is my first "Expensive" chair and it disappoint. The leatherette creaks like hell with every movement. The creaking is caused by the base of the back rest pressing tightly against the plastic part of the base. So imagine when you move, the smooth surface of the leatherette rubbing against the smooth surface of the plastic, it creates a annoyingly loud creaking/squeaky sound. But no worries, SL will send you a barrier kit made of a felt like material that acts like a divider between the 2 smooth surfaces from rubbing against each other. SL also included a video on how to install the Barrier Kit. I noticed that the chair in the video made it so easy to slide the barrier in between but i had to disassemble the back piece in order to install the barrier because its too tight! its obvious SL had a design flaw, they made the base of the back rest too wide and it pressed against the plastic piece causing it to squeak. But in the barrier kit installation video, it's obvious SL had fixed it in manufacturing, narrowing the base of the back piece, allowing the barrier kit to slide in with ease. MY main issues with SL is, why did they still shipped the initial flawed batch to their customers, knowing of the design flaw? Wait for customers to complained and shipping them a Barrier kit. Why don't SL recall all the faulty batch and sell a quality chair to its customer!?

@@Secretlabchairs yeaah I receive a misaligned backrest. The customer support just told me to troubleshoot (which I have done multiple times that results to scratching the metal that connects the seat-base to the backrest) or just live with it…

i know this was 5 months ago, but i just got a titan evo 2022 xl last month. i just put in a refund request. my backrest is built crooked as well. my right arm rest goes higher than the left, and ive had this popping noise/back rest shifting problem when i lean back on it since the day i got it. they sent me a new recline mechanism through warranty, which ill say was very easy and i appreciate that, but it fixed nothing.
I can't feel the new feature at all - 4-way L-ADAPT™ Lumbar Support System moves up and down. Twist clockwise and anti clockwise, feel nothing up and down. Anyone feel the same?

Why did you didnt add the synchro-mechanic? This is such an important ergonomic factor which you can find in the Backforce. Im really thinking which of these both i should buy. Backforce has on the one hand 10 years warranty and the synchro mechanic but i really love your chair and you can buy it with real leather which will be the best material in the long run. Really hard decision.

i just received mine, i honestly can't say anything bad about it, it's a really nice chair ... BUT the new lumbar system...wow i'm struggling with it ... i have no idea of what "values" to put on both knob more than that...they say to not put WEIGHT during the setup ... so i can't feel the differences when i'm touching the knob if i don't put my back on the seat... a very nice product but...recommandations to setup that new system would be great
Sad thing, I bought it and I had problems since I received... I stopped making tickets because the problems will still persists. I tried to request a refund and I received a decline because it past 8 months since purchasing(just to add, when I receive it the backrest was defective and I waited 3 months to receive a good one, after the small thing like the multi-tilt mechanism started to go wrong several times.. obviously I couldn't make the refund request in 14 days since received 🍩) Anyway for me this chair is a trouble and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

To add on, you can easily detach our pre-attached armrests should you wish to do so, simply remove the M8 screws holding them in place from the bottom of your seat base. @@Secretlabchairs I ended up buying the xl evo 2 and I really am liking the chair so far. I did have to remove the arm rests because they don't go low enough for me to play at my desk. They hit the desk and don't go under. When the bolts are loosened up and the arm rest hangs lower than they are supposed to they will go under the desk. So I'm thinking about getting some longer bolts that fit and using spacers to make the arm rests lower. Having your whole arm at the right height on the desk top really increases accuracy in fps games. Maybe most people anchor their elbow to the chair arm rest....
Hi there! I’m 5’10 but 110kg. I saw that the Regular size model can take up to 130kg but as that exceeds the recommended weight, will that affect the performance of the lumbar support or any other aspect of the chair (i.e adjusting height, lean etc) I of course would want the cheaper regular one but if me exceeding the recommended weight will make its lifespan shorter, then I’m more than happy to get the XL! I love secretlab but as a thin very 5ft 1 adult find the width of the chair a bit too wide which does not give me a tight bucket seat fit. i had the throne and that was too wider me hope you can address the issue secretlab

I would not recommend the 2022 series the Just got mine bad return policy, magnetic pillow doesn't work well constantly falls off... the arm rests wobble with the "4d" feature, chair creeks.

I’m 190cm (6'2") and 95kg (210lbs). I'm between the 2022 Evo Regular and XL. 1. Would the Evo Regular be too small for me? 2. Are there any health issues with the magnets near the head(brain)? Are those magnets placed in the pillow or the chair? If I remove that pillow those magnets would be closer to my brain.

Me too but when I got it it was broken out of the box and they said “if you want we can send you our new chair for just 25$ extra”. So they came and picked up my broken one and charged me 25$ more and sent me the EVO :)

Sooooo uncomfortable.... Tailbone and lower back pain was so bad. Also my feet and thighs feel like they are always dangling. It makes the seat base feel so stiff.
i dont understand why all these game chairs have a higher seat level on the outsides of the seat ( and also on the backrest..or how its called🤔) realy its just for looks, i cant come up with another idea, its not like it for support so your not gonne fall/or slide of your seat right?! its actually realy stupid because it makes the aria of the seat where you can sit smaller...and also the backrest, i mean doe you other wise fall to the side? (and when you are realy like mr Iron -like a Body builder- its just gonne poke you shoulders i think), or do your shoulders need to be supported that way? im sitting on a plastic garden chair and i realy dont miss that...and dont fall/or slide of the chair...serious

I have a question. I am short and heavy, more than 100 kg but shorter than 180cm. So according to my weight, I should take the XL, but maybe it will be too high for me. Can I use the XL, or will this one be too high for me?

I DO NOT agree with you website suggesting 189cm+ height to go for the XL chair on the EVO series... I just sold my 6 month old 2020 XL as the seat base and the arm rests are far too wide unless your well over 100kg.... (The new and the old XL are the same width seat base and arm rests). The XL provided zero support on the sides, and even with armrests fully inward they were out to the side, you couldn't get your weight under you. If your tall but a healthy BMI Don't get the XL! I'm 6'6 and 94kg.
I'm 6'9 and 136 kg (205cm/300lbs), I can only hope for than Evo XL will fit me...

To me - this is a very true "mint green". its more green than blue if that helps... also - if you order your chair and hate the color or anything, you have 45 days to return it.. so dont open the box completely if you hate the color

@@starwarz8479 nah, the head rest sticks fine. Unless I yank from incline to upright, other than that it's fine. And the lumbar mechanism made minimal noise, doesn't bother me
wished they launched those new colors for soft weave for the leather versions too. now i'm stuck in between.
But the leatherette has all the custom designs, way cooler than a few color choices in my opinion!

@@dexterie for me who weight 60-65kg the chair feels good. I wish you could take the lumbar support out a little bit more but its alright. You can always use a pillow if necessary. I sit around 3-4h a day on the chair and for that its good! The only complain I have is the lumbar support not going out more but it works for me still.

The fact that I can change the position of the lumbar support makes a big difference. Its a heavy cost for a chair but for me its been worth it. As long as i can keep this for 4+ years its all good. I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black.
The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

if secret labs sold the back base and arm rests as single items so people can upgrade their old chairs when they start wearing down instead of pay the full hog for the single chair
then when they have them as solo peaces they can intergrate specialized versions for people with longer legs narrower forms etc and make the chair fully modualr instead of selling as a series.
tho i know they won't do this but the first chair company that does will prob be able to market multiple backs for different occasions and sell storage bags for them too.

You need softer seats in the XL line. Big folks need more padding. To firm hurts our backs badly. The pressure of the seat will mess with us. Hope these are softer than the previous XL.

The chair is good, but saw many complaints of quality issue. Such as bumps on Leather and misalignment of the back seat against the seat base. 100% Out Going Quality check is very important before shipment to Customer.

Will the strong magnets ruin my headphones if I rest my head pressed hard against it?
The TITAN Evo 2022 is my first "Expensive" chair and it disappoint. The leatherette creaks like hell with every movement. The creaking is caused by the base of the back rest pressing tightly against the plastic part of the base. So imagine when you move, the smooth surface of the leatherette rubbing against the smooth surface of the plastic, it creates a annoyingly loud creaking/squeaky sound.
But no worries, SL will send you a barrier kit made of a felt like material that acts like a divider between the 2 smooth surfaces from rubbing against each other. SL also included a video on how to install the Barrier Kit. I noticed that the chair in the video made it so easy to slide the barrier in between but i had to disassemble the back piece in order to install the barrier because its too tight!
its obvious SL had a design flaw, they made the base of the back rest too wide and it pressed against the plastic piece causing it to squeak. But in the barrier kit installation video, it's obvious SL had fixed it in manufacturing, narrowing the base of the back piece, allowing the barrier kit to slide in with ease.
MY main issues with SL is, why did they still shipped the initial flawed batch to their customers, knowing of the design flaw? Wait for customers to complained and shipping them a Barrier kit. Why don't SL recall all the faulty batch and sell a quality chair to its customer!?

@@Secretlabchairs yeaah I receive a misaligned backrest. The customer support just told me to troubleshoot (which I have done multiple times that results to scratching the metal that connects the seat-base to the backrest) or just live with it…

i know this was 5 months ago, but i just got a titan evo 2022 xl last month. i just put in a refund request. my backrest is built crooked as well. my right arm rest goes higher than the left, and ive had this popping noise/back rest shifting problem when i lean back on it since the day i got it. they sent me a new recline mechanism through warranty, which ill say was very easy and i appreciate that, but it fixed nothing.

Why did you didnt add the synchro-mechanic? This is such an important ergonomic factor which you can find in the Backforce. Im really thinking which of these both i should buy. Backforce has on the one hand 10 years warranty and the synchro mechanic but i really love your chair and you can buy it with real leather which will be the best material in the long run. Really hard decision.

How go does the Softweave Plus at resisting stains? Like coffee spills for example.
Hey there, our SoftWeave® Plus fabric doesn’t require much maintenance as dust and other loose particles can be easily vacuumed up, but as fabric is absorbent in nature, it doesn’t take as well to spills. If you do, immediately blot up any liquids with a dry cloth or paper towel - do not rub the stain as this could cause it to set. i just received mine, i honestly can't say anything bad about it, it's a really nice chair ... BUT the new lumbar system...wow i'm struggling with it ... i have no idea of what "values" to put on both knob
more than that...they say to not put WEIGHT during the setup ... so i can't feel the differences when i'm touching the knob if i don't put my back on the seat...

Sad thing, I bought it and I had problems since I received... I stopped making tickets because the problems will still persists. I tried to request a refund and I received a decline because it past 8 months since purchasing(just to add, when I receive it the backrest was defective and I waited 3 months to receive a good one, after the small thing like the multi-tilt mechanism started to go wrong several times.. obviously I couldn't make the refund request in 14 days since received 🍩) Anyway for me this chair is a trouble and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

@@Secretlabchairs I ended up buying the xl evo 2 and I really am liking the chair so far. I did have to remove the arm rests because they don't go low enough for me to play at my desk. They hit the desk and don't go under. When the bolts are loosened up and the arm rest hangs lower than they are supposed to they will go under the desk. So I'm thinking about getting some longer bolts that fit and using spacers to make the arm rests lower. Having your whole arm at the right height on the desk top really increases accuracy in fps games. Maybe most people anchor their elbow to the chair arm rest....
Hi there! I’m 5’10 but 110kg. I saw that the Regular size model can take up to 130kg but as that exceeds the recommended weight, will that affect the performance of the lumbar support or any other aspect of the chair (i.e adjusting height, lean etc)
I of course would want the cheaper regular one but if me exceeding the recommended weight will make its lifespan shorter, then I’m more than happy to get the XL!

I would not recommend the 2022 series the Just got mine bad return policy, magnetic pillow doesn't work well constantly falls off... the arm rests wobble with the "4d" feature, chair creeks.

Me too but when I got it it was broken out of the box and they said “if you want we can send you our new chair for just 25$ extra”. So they came and picked up my broken one and charged me 25$ more and sent me the EVO :)

Sooooo uncomfortable.... Tailbone and lower back pain was so bad. Also my feet and thighs feel like they are always dangling. It makes the seat base feel so stiff.

i dont understand why all these game chairs have a higher seat level on the outsides of the seat ( and also on the backrest..or how its called🤔) realy its just for looks, i cant come up with another idea, its not like it for support so your not gonne fall/or slide of your seat right?! its actually realy stupid because it makes the aria of the seat where you can sit smaller...and also the backrest, i mean doe you other wise fall to the side? (and when you are realy like mr Iron -like a Body builder- its just gonne poke you shoulders i think), or do your shoulders need to be supported that way? im sitting on a plastic garden chair and i realy dont miss that...and dont fall/or slide of the chair...serious

I have a question. I am short and heavy, more than 100 kg but shorter than 180cm. So according to my weight, I should take the XL, but maybe it will be too high for me. Can I use the XL, or will this one be too high for me?
