I don't know why I'm watching these videos again, after my spinal cord injury, in the hospital post surgery I ordered a secret lab titan and it's the most comfortable piece of furniture I own. I love my titan, I'm at the cabin now sitting in the couch and my back is killing me. As soon as I get home, I'm ordering another one to take to the cabin. If I ever accept an office position my first order of business will be to order another titan for my work station. I love this chair.
Yeah dude, Same with me having back issues. Went down the high end chair hole spending $2000+ on Herman miller chairs and they are not comfortable like a titan is. The cushion of the titan is way better than any ergo chairs. People say secretlabs is bad for you, but how can i sit on it all day and 0 pain but when i sit in ergo chairs i hurt.
I've had the cookies and cream version for about two months. My previous chair was an office chair from a big box store, so there there was definitely an acclimatization phase going on. The cloth seems to be industrial strength durable and the chair is firm to the point of having very little give. I've had no weird noises, and I've grown to like the chair, but if you're looking for cushy, this is not the one, but if you're looking for a high performance chair, I"d say this is it.
I'm coming from a sheet of plywood with a half inch of cheap foam and fabric over the top, idk what brand and the back (held on by metal) has somehow snapped off before and been repaired with a makeshift steel rod jammed up the hollow shaft that holds it on. So i think any chair will be squishier than my current one. I've ordered this chair and can't wait for it to arrive.
I just bought this chair and if you still have that chair I would definitely recommend going through and tightening the blots again and oiling that piston with wd-40 maybe it is because it dried out or something. Great video man. You're killin it!!!!
I just got my Cookies & Cream yesterday, im happy to see you doing follow up videos like this :) Hearing you findings after a year, makes me feel i made the right choice picking this over so many other chairs. Thank you for that.
You're absolutely welcome! I was tempted with Cookies & Cream as well, in the end I chose Arctic simply for the pop of color it gives my videos but you'll enjoy this chair and so far in my experience support has been great. Will follow up with part 2 once I get to that point.
@@JacobDarkOfficial Well the joy was short lived for me here, yesterday it lumbar support is making the noise, i have tried the higher/lower, in/out thing like 30 times now, also i belive i have heard secertlab has said they fixed this, and also that they installed the barrier kit on all chairs going out from that point, mine dont have the barrier kit installed, and it is not in the box. So i guess i got an old version. Yea i guess i have to talk to the support already :(

I’ve had that same exact chair for a year and a half. Had the same backrest issue that they resolved by sending me a new backrest and also a clunking noise coming from the tilt mechanism that they also sent me a replacement. It seems they have some quality control issues but their customer support has resolved them all for me.
As somebody who stands at 193 cm according to my drivers license, i tried one of these my younger brother got and it immediately felt better than the $250 gaming chair i have at home Plus, y'know, there's a batman variant, that's neat lol
wow you would think as much as this chair cost it wouldn't have these minor issues. I was about to purchase one of these but not going to now, Thank you so much for this honest review !!
That noise on the piston is the vibration of plastic touching the pivot. If his setting is lowest, removing the smaller plastic cylinder (or cutting a bit of height) might resolve the issue without exposing the piston much from dust.
That dust on your legs during the piston noise part is why the top is looking dirty. You only have to grab a white chair a few times to cause that. But if no one else is in the room using the chair….. you are grabbing the top. White is a tough choice.
@@JacobDarkOfficial a grey XL Titan. Just assembled it. It's a lot bigger that I expected. Maybe just a bit too big. I'm using it on the lowest setting and it's taller than my previous chairs, lol. Well, I'll get used to it.
03:35 This is lack of lubrication on the bolts, a quick unscrewing of the bolts and lubrication of the holes and bolts with WD40 or similar, and the noise should be gone for weeks - if not months - before re-lubing is required.
I got tired of buying those cheap Amazon “big and tall” chairs that aren’t the most comfortable and end up crapping out after 1-2 years so I got me this titan evo xl. Absolutely love it, but also having problems. Armrests aren’t very solid - they shake very easily and one time when I supported myself on the right one to get up, it slid all the way down which hurt my ego quite a bit but that’s beside the point. For $600ish dollars I expect there to not be any kind of problems arising - especially not when I’ve only had the damn thing for 2 weeks
I have the 2020 model and been using it for 2 years now and haven't had any issues with it, I'll probably upgrade to a newer version in 2 to 3 years. I definitely found the chair too firm when I first starting using, But after about a week, I found it super comfortable and have no issues with comfort now. I was just used to soft chair which is why I found it uncomfortable at first.
@@samueljackson2257 the backrest of the chair is making strange noises when i rest my back on it, something like metal is stretching...weird sound. Also when i turn the chair around the piston is screeching. Dont get me wrong, i have the charcoal fabric and i love the looks and how it feels but a product in this price should be perfect. I am not supposed to service a chair myself every couple of weeks so it remains silent.
My biggest issue with office chairs, is it's always that cheap ass glued on leather that cracks in literally a few weeks. I like the NAPA leather option but it'll still probably be a cheap leather so was going to look at this clothe one. That's my biggest thing. I put a "Purple" Seat cushion on my chairs regardless because is just such an incredible product. A cushion that 5 years on is as firm and soft as day one. I really recommend checking those out for anyone who wants a good seat cushion for the truck, gaming chair or for travel
@@jeffersonrodriguez2038 Yeah, my last 2 - $300-350 chairs have utterly disintegrated on the seat. Absurd. I just bought Razer Iskur V2. The fabric version instead of fake ass leather they lie is "Good quality." It's good. It's a "firm" seat and back/lumbar support though. Wouldn't call it soft and borderline uncomfortable honestly, haha. Debating returning it. I put a big Purple cushion on it and now the seat is uber soft and it built me up 2" so the lumbar support actually touches my lumbar region hah. Dang thing was landing in the middle of my back and I'm 6 foot. Like, who did you design this chair for? haha
@jeffersonrodriguez2038 I've had my 2020 titan since 5/1/2021 and with over 5k hours in this chair and basically zero upkeep, I've had zero issues with cracking/peeling etc. It's the PU Leather version too. With a quick wipe down this chair looks the same as the day I bought it. I'm also 6' 260lbs and sweat like an icecube in an oven. I wouldn't worry about the leather at all, had a cloth omega chair and got rid of it in a week due to how hot it was.
I got an Omega 2020 PU version and it is still in mint condition, bear in mind I have only wiped it twice with a cleaner. Feels like their quality went down...
Thing is, my friend has these EXACT same issues with his titan after a year as well. That shows it’s not a 1 in a million case. The fact that I had a crap $150 “gaming” chair for over a year and never experienced any of these issues with it is crazy. For the price that’s insane to deal with
I can say that after watching this I am no longer getting this chair. Shouldn’t be dealing with those issues for the high price tag IMO. Thanks for the review.
Thanks Jacob, your videos helped me decide on this chair. If you look closely, some of the less expensive competition uses the same parts, so you can spend 60-130 less for something very similar, but it isn't worth sacrificing the warranty support of the Secretlab branded chairs. Secretlab's less expensive company offers the same warranty coverage in print, but the only online reviews I found said customer support was lacking compared to Secretlabs. They seem to have cornered the market, you only need one part to go bad to justify the extra upfront expense.
I really appreciate the views and I agree, I'm currently communicating to see how things go on the support side to get my issues fixed, when it's all said and done that upload will follow but after all the gaming chair brands I've tried I'm still sitting on my Titan Evo daily
The reclining mechanism broke in my Titan Evo 2022 after 1 year of use, but Secret Lab sent me a replacement part within 2 days. Definitely worth the price. Edit: I just noticed that the lumbar support is not moving up or down :( .
Still have my 2020 Evo, still looks brand new too, the only thing is that it feels a bit stiffer than before but definitely recommend one of these chairs, I swear I only paid like 350 for mine too, the prices skyrocketed
The #1 reason (maybe only reason) I decided go to with a different standing desk instead of Secret Labs' Magnus was because I did not like the very limited and specific selection of desk pads they offered. They're basically proprietary - and I wanted a wood grain look to my desk. Uplift for me in the end.. but you nailed it on this comment.
I bought a generic 4 position memory standing desk bottom, and then bought a wood countertop that looks really nice and dark. Only cost me maybe $60 for the desk top, was great.
I thought the same thing ….till I noticed why… 1) Cable Management built in, 2) Premium Magnet Desk Mat, 3) Eco System that you can easily Manage I on the fly, Headsets, Control Position of Mouse and Keyboard Cable, plus many more, 4) Full Metal Legs and Top seems to be wrapped in metal but has some other board material as desk top, either way it’s built like a tank not warping at all, 5) Free RGB Lighting strip if your into that, 6) Excellent Spacing and desk feels Top Quality……………If you want standing which I absolutely don’t need in my life as this is a gaming desk for me. Their standing has a nice desktop mount. Keeps all with great cable management. So yeah I totally think it’s worth standing or not. Now Gaming Chairs idk I think they all get destroyed eventually from the heavy use. Atleast Secret Labs is the only one I see that has a Eco system for their chairs if you need a replacement part.
I just got mine today and I have SEVERE squeaking in the lumbar support. It's so irritating because after all this talk that they fixed it, they clearly didn't.
I have my evo 2022 for almost a year, had piston noise, contacted support and they send me a new piston without any questions, great chair for great price and support
I am looking at buying a new chair for my miniature painting. I have broken 3 chairs over the last 4 years, all failed in the same way: the hole that the piston fits in on the tilt mechanism, I snap the metal and the welds around that hole. I am a body builder, I weigh almost 18 stone/114kg/251lbs so I need a strong chair, but I can't find any information regarding whether there is reinforcement around the problem area on Secretlabs XL chairs. Their chat wasn't much help, either. They told me that the piston is heavier duty compared to their regular chair, but I don't have any problems with the piston itself, just where it fits into the tilt mechanism. I'm not sure whether it is worth spending almost £600 on the chair if all they upgrade is the piston.
While I don't weigh as much as you what I can say is through my personal experience owning multiple chairs and all the complaints I've ever seen online, I've never seen anyone have your specific problem with the tilt mechanism. If I were a betting man I'd say you should be safe but of course there's no real way to know except to try it out. Should you decide to buy I'd appreciate you using my link. Let me know if have more questions.
I think the main issue with these chairs is that the price is premium but in the end they are still cheap racing style chairs, if you want something truly comfortable you need to go an ergonomic office chair and forget about the "cool gamer race" style chairs
I've had the same staples chair since 2018, compared to previous chairs I've destroyed in a year or two. Like 2 years the fabric is ripped up from just creasing from me sitting in it long term. Latest one is their gaming chair which has a flat seat. Love it. Now I was 260lbs for a long time, and more recently lost a ton of weight, down to under 220 as of the time of writing this. I was thinking of getting a new one. My chair creaks on rare occasison. Some screws have come slightly loose because I can't be bothered to tighten them. But i spent $100 on this chair. It baffles me you can spend $500 and get these kinds of creaks.
Wow... I have a cheap E-Win chair I paid $300 for almost 10 years ago and everything works fine still just all of the fake leather is falling off and one adjustable arm does not adjust the way it is supposed to anymore.
Have to ask, do you take any steps to maintain the chair? You know, clean it, oil it...or do you just expect things to remain in perfect, like-new, working order all on their own?
I’ve been searching for help with this chair and I thought I would leave a comment about my issue with their chair. I spent a whole career sitting in a vehicle or office chair with no issues. When I retired I bought myself one of these expensive “gaming” chairs for comfort while sitting at my computer for long hours. Since getting this chair I have so far had 3 nasty episodes of an issue called “sit pain”. This is when you start feeling nasty pain in one or more of your sit bones which are connected to the biggest ligaments in your body. Apparently what is causing this is the angle of the seat. The actual seat is tilted back, not flat and is unable to be tilted forward or even flat like an office chair. This puts long term strain on the ligaments as your hips or sit bones are lower than your knees. I’ve been searching everywhere for a solution. Apparently we are not meant to spend long hours in a racing car type seated position. I’m at the point now where I may have to replace the chair.
Sorry to hear that. If you're looking for a new chair that should be comfortable try a Herman Miller Sayl when on sale. Pricy but the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in back in my office days. Chairs are like mattresses so it's hard to know if it's going to work for you without using it day to day. For me the Titan Evo remains my daily chair as it's worked out for me, but again, there is no one chair solution for everyone.
I'm "upgrading" from my 6 year-old DXRacer Wide, which is finally starting to fall apart after a ton of hard use, to the Titan EVO 2022 XL. Your review helped me make my decision easier. I could have went with another DXRacer, but I need the extra lumbar support after breaking my back a few year ago in an accident.
@JacobDarkOfficial Yeah, it is. Secretlab really should send you one to review, especially given your knowledge of their chairs, and how many you've bought. Good luck to getting one for review! 🍻
I found the GTRacing chair as good for hundreds less and no shipping delays! Can buy 3 GTRacing chairs for price of one SecretLabs chair. Rather get a Hermann Miller Aeron if paying that much scratch!
Have any of your problems been fixed? Im in college and do a lot of sitting, and really want this chair. I want to make sure it wont break after I buy it.
All of my problems have been fixed, Secretlab warranty took care of me and replaced all the parts I had issues with. After testing more gaming chairs I still stick with my Secretlab. Should you decide to buy I'd super appreciate you using my link.
My 2020 Omega & Titan chairs still looks brand new with no squeaking noises whatsoever but I'm pretty light and I take care good care of all my stuff. That said, I'm still thinking of getting a Herman Miller down the line just to see what I've been missing... 🤪
In 2024 I have a Titan Evo Lite and the problems I had in this video were only on that specific chair which was a day 1 release so much like a new game release, once it got patched there haven't been any issues at least in my experience.
Hello, I have a question about the lumbar support on the XL and the regular model and it's possibility to adjust it. 🙂 I am relatively tall (6'4 / 193 cm), I could easily take the Titan Evo XL, but I would prefer the "regular", because I have very narrow shoulders and the armrests on the XL are too far apart for me. I measured. How far up can the lumbar support be raised on the regular in comparison to the XL? How many inches / cm can I raise to lumbar support higher on the XL, compared to the regular? Do you understand what I mean? I would appreciate a qualified answer. Greetings from Germany 🙂 Johannes
Love your reviews, the softweave is the selling point for me. Got that ordered with the Magnus Pro XL, and now comes the waiting. As I'm typing this, I'm realizing that I have in fact, not done any review research on the Pro XL. Are you planning on doing one?
I was about to purchase this chair, but now, it is a HARD STOP NO... For the price tag this chair comes with, there should be no issues like this - poor workmanship has no place in my expenses, ever...
I have a softweave Titan from 2019. And honestly its the best chair I've ever had. Still feels brand new, and my girlfriend even wants to steal it from me for her work lol.
This one or the embody Logitech? I’m 6’1 220 LBS and currently game on a arozzi racing style seat and really like it, everyone on Reddit says to steer away from secrtalab and go with the embody but is it really worth the extra cash
It's really dependent on your body. I thought Secretlab was too firm so bought an Embody but then didn't like the Embody and went back to Secretlab and use one to this day. If you decide to buy Secretlab I'd appreciate you using my link!
@@JacobDarkOfficial I’m 6’1 long legs and wide shoulders, and I’m afraid to get the embody and not like it, especially at that price, like I mentioned previously I use a racing style seat and have no back issues. I only game about 2 hours a day with the occasional 6 hours session like 3 times a month

do wish he had a normal office chair at the same price to compare it with. for +500 that's a lot of problems in one year. and i could probably use it more than 6 hours a day.
Sorry, I purged videos that weren't performing well and might have deleted that one by accident. Quick version: Secretlab took care of me and sent replacement parts for the whole chair basically giving me a new chair. Happy user to this day.
Interesting to talk about quality when only after 1 year of use there are creaks and noises. I've had a cheap office depot chair which granted isn't very comfortable, but has been rock solid for about 3 years and is still in the same condition as when I bought it. The warranty is good, but the best warranty is the one you never have to use. I expect some issues with cheaper chairs, but spending $500+ and having issues...no thanks.
I did consider getting Titan Evo 22 XL for me but after watching this and reading the comments I’m more and more sure that getting HM Logitech Embody will be a better option in many aspects..
I have an Embody on the way, couldn't resist the 20% off sale lol, but I'm still within the window to cancel, we'll see what I do, no matter what $1500 is still a tough pill to swallow
@@JacobDarkOfficial it is but the health of the back (considering working 8+hrs at desk) is the major factor for me, not the price (which still is veeeery high for where I live and how much I earn monthly).
@@JacobDarkOfficial did you do the wipes or the spray? I just ordered a chair and spray as it was all that was in stock. Do you have any recommendations to help keep it clean. Any kind of treatment that can be done when I first get it to protect it?
@@JacobDarkOfficial I'm starting to think that is the only real consideration. I like the white because my PC is white, and I guess I can do my best to keep it clean and when it gets bad just buy another white skin. But I do wonder if there is a treatment you can do out of the box that will help protect it from stains.
By far the worst chair i ever had is the titan evo 22. So many issues for the money i paid for this thing. I got the "new" version that is supposed to be rattle free but it does all the noises the video shows. The "fix" is only good for a couple of weeks and then the weird sounds come back. On the other hand, my 6 year old AK racing chair is still going good.
I got a question I have a respawn gaming chair and after probably a month the seat is completely hard. I don’t want to buy a chair that will become hard as a rock after a few months so sense you have had it for a year how has the seat cushion been?
I posted a follow up video to this one and in the end Secretlab replaced all the problem parts so my chair is like new. Even then the chair lasted the entire year just fine without losing any cushion, I'll think you'll be good, if you end up ordering I'd super appreciate you using my link!
Since they updated to the evo I just think in a few years they are going to "upgrade" again and move away from the inconsistant pistons- too many moving parts.
I don’t know. The same people who are talking smack about this chair are the same people who couldn’t afford it in the first place. And are trying to justify why it’s not worth it because they couldn’t afford to buy one in the first place.
Mine has been good from day one. When I had a 2020 Titan it was absolutely too hard, I really think it just depends on the user, but the 2022 is much improved over the 2020, at least in my experience. If you end up buying I'd super appreciate you using my link
I really need a new chair, my current one is slowly falling apart. I'm actually shocked at the amount of issues Secretlab chairs have considering the price tag, I don't know how or why they're held in such high regard for producing mediocre products...
The chair in this video was a first generation. I've since had the replacement softweave and now a leatherette and have been fine with both. After using both I feel like the leatherette is a bit more comfortable and think the key is to buy a leatherette and put a sleeve over it which is what I've done. Got a white Stromtrooper leatherette with a black skin over so I can match any setup I put together. If you decide to buy it helps the channel so much when you use my link
What is it about these chairs that justifies the price tag? They don't look any better or significantly different to ones half their price, they also don't seem higher quality than other gaming chairs. I just don't get where the money is going.
They're actually built significantly better than most gaming chairs. Most are cheap, lightweight and have a lot of plastic parts, the SL chairs are heavy with quality parts
@JacobDarkOfficial im looking for a new one to replace a red and black bucket seat style. I'm open and looking but you haven't said what you like about that one. I'm not gravitating towards office styles but you bring up good points.
I gotta agree with you on the colors of the Softweave. Black, Cookies & Cream, and then a slew of PASTELS? Really? I want Kryptek Typhon, or a nice royal blue. Maybe something in a rich burgundy. And for the love of God, tone down the branding the chair. Good review btw.
I feel like Secretlabs is big enough to let us customize the desk. Like you said, different desktops, colors, etc. and different colors for the chairs too. I see theyve released covers now for the seats so if they released different colors that would be cool. Cheaper than buying a whole new chair and cheaper for them too.
I got the titan stark and although it is very durable i had it like 2 years and no tearing etc, Like really it still looks new but it is the worse thing to sit on i ever experienced, It is like sitting on a table , I had to buy a memory foam cussion to sit on so keep that in mind it is very firm. I would not be buying another one that is for sure.
@@JacobDarkOfficial I dunno it seems a lot of people complain about this issue with the seats being rock solid. I can only go of the one i use and its terrible but there is a truck loads of people complaining about the same issue.
@@kuposceptre Oh for sure, the very first Secretlab video I ever did was on a 2020 version and it was a total negative review as that chair was like sitting on wood. It absolutely destroyed my glutes and low back.
Some of my notes after having one (without too much explanation): 1) assembly is not that easy (not hard either) 2) one of the worst armrests on the market - literally everything about them 3) lumbar support is so hard, it actually hurts my back more; also it is too high; it should be called "high back" support, not "low back" support; probably that's why Secretlab are selling a separate low back support :) 4) seat is super hard 5) the chair is very heavy and doesn't roll around easy, so if you move a lot - sorryyyy :/ JOKE: the packaging is better engineered than the chair. :)

That noise on the piston is the vibration of plastic touching the pivot. If his setting is lowest, removing the smaller plastic cylinder (or cutting a bit of height) might resolve the issue without exposing the piston much from dust.
Secretlab took care of me and ended up sending almost an entire new chair
That dust on your legs during the piston noise part is why the top is looking dirty. You only have to grab a white chair a few times to cause that. But if no one else is in the room using the chair….. you are grabbing the top. White is a tough choice.
Luckily they pretty much replaced the whole chair. I got rid of it though and now have a white stormtrooper chair but keep a black skin over it.
I was hear for the chairs but now I feel the need to make a shot out to Sweetwater. Love the shirt bro.
I... have to admit, I ordered the chair before I watched the review. But now I'm more confident that it'll be good :)
Sounds like you'll be happy! What kind did you order?
@@JacobDarkOfficial a grey XL Titan. Just assembled it. It's a lot bigger that I expected. Maybe just a bit too big. I'm using it on the lowest setting and it's taller than my previous chairs, lol. Well, I'll get used to it.
@@Cthulch How big/tall are you?
@@DanielFreakinAwesome2 the XL is rated for people 5'11 to 6'9 so I'm guessing probably under 5'11
03:35 This is lack of lubrication on the bolts, a quick unscrewing of the bolts and lubrication of the holes and bolts with WD40 or similar, and the noise should be gone for weeks - if not months - before re-lubing is required.
Do not buy the 22 model. So many issues for the price tag. I regret buying it...

I am not supposed to service a chair myself every couple of weeks so it remains silent.
@@stonecold91 ok thanks for telling me, would you say its comfortable enough to the point where all those issues dont really matter?
Tbh with you I just ordered my 2022 titan evo and I’m just watching these vids so I don’t go crazy waiting
I feel you I preordered the akatsuki chair but I ain’t getting it till next year 😢 imagine how I’m feeling
The main reason why I'm looking for chairs is because I have chair that has cracking cheap leather.
For the price that’s insane to deal with
It’s got a 3 year warranty.
I can say that after watching this I am no longer getting this chair. Shouldn’t be dealing with those issues for the high price tag IMO. Thanks for the review.
What chair did you end up going with?
@@TheSkyWhale I just ordered the Razer Enki.
@@fobz7 how do you like it so far? I too feel like this is way too much bs for a $600 chair.
I've had one for 3 years. With the lumbar pillow, I love it. No noise. Lucky I guess. But I don't spend the time in it you do.
Top Notch Video.... Bravo!!! And Thank You Helped A Lot
Glad you found it helpful! Should you decide to buy I’d appreciate you using my link!
Oops, contact them they should take care of you
Still have my 2020 Evo, still looks brand new too, the only thing is that it feels a bit stiffer than before but definitely recommend one of these chairs, I swear I only paid like 350 for mine too, the prices skyrocketed
They sure have! Seems like everything is overpriced these days
I though the desk was joke :D , like why would you spend 500€ on a desk that doesnt even have automatic movement
What is lasting longer? Fabric or artificial Leather?
It's hard to say because I've gone through so many chairs doing videos for this channel so I haven't stuck with one single chair for more than a year.
3 year warranty. You can get anything fixed.
Wow... I have a cheap E-Win chair I paid $300 for almost 10 years ago and everything works fine still just all of the fake leather is falling off and one adjustable arm does not adjust the way it is supposed to anymore.
Secretlab did remedy everything in this video and to this day I've been happy
Solid review. Thanks for doing this!
You arnt supposed to have the chair fully down, raise it ever so slightly so that its cushioned on the piston

Too many issues for such an expensive product. Anyone has good gaming chair recommendations available in the UK?
I'm "upgrading" from my 6 year-old DXRacer Wide, which is finally starting to fall apart after a ton of hard use, to the Titan EVO 2022 XL. Your review helped me make my decision easier. Hello,
I have a question about the lumbar support on the XL and the regular model and it's possibility to adjust it. 🙂
I am relatively tall (6'4 / 193 cm), I could easily take the Titan Evo XL, but I would prefer the "regular", because I have very narrow shoulders and the armrests on the XL are too far apart for me.
I measured.
How far up can the lumbar support be raised on the regular in comparison to the XL?
How many inches / cm can I raise to lumbar support higher on the XL, compared to the regular?
Do you understand what I mean?
I would appreciate a qualified answer.
Greetings from Germany 🙂

Love your reviews, the softweave is the selling point for me. Got that ordered with the Magnus Pro XL, and now comes the waiting. As I'm typing this, I'm realizing that I have in fact, not done any review research on the Pro XL. Are you planning on doing one?

Those noises don’t sound very “Titan” like. Perhaps the Secret Lab’s “Ghost” would be a more fitting name.

Hey Jaccob I have a question. Your seat, it flares up on the sides. I'm a big guy with wide ass, are those flares hard? Do they dig in or flatten out?
Interesting to talk about quality when only after 1 year of use there are creaks and noises. I've had a cheap office depot chair which granted isn't very comfortable, but has been rock solid for about 3 years and is still in the same condition as when I bought it. The warranty is good, but the best warranty is the one you never have to use. I expect some issues with cheaper chairs, but spending $500+ and having issues...no thanks.

Alright thank you
Have you tried the Lambo version???
I haven't, looks super nice but I'm not really in need of another gaming chair at the moment
Is the seat too firm or has it broken in nicely? Saw some complaints that the seat was too rough
I just bought me one last week
What is it about these chairs that justifies the price tag? They don't look any better or significantly different to ones half their price, they also don't seem higher quality than other gaming chairs. I just don't get where the money is going.
They're actually built significantly better than most gaming chairs. Most are cheap, lightweight and have a lot of plastic parts, the SL chairs are heavy with quality parts
Good review
i never had the sound problems on my 1 year old 2021
How well do the wipes work?
They're OK though I probably wouldn't use them again on lighter colors

I gotta agree with you on the colors of the Softweave. Black, Cookies & Cream, and then a slew of PASTELS? Really? I want Kryptek Typhon, or a nice royal blue. Maybe something in a rich burgundy. And for the love of God, tone down the branding the chair. Good review btw.
What color way is this?
Arctic White
This just convinced me to avoid this. Thanks!
Some of my notes after having one (without too much explanation):
1) assembly is not that easy (not hard either)
2) one of the worst armrests on the market - literally everything about them
3) lumbar support is so hard, it actually hurts my back more; also it is too high; it should be called "high back" support, not "low back" support; probably that's why Secretlab are selling a separate low back support :)
