I got the 2.0 version of Star Toy Blitzwing a few days ago. Just took version 1.0 Thomas out of his box. I am pleased with both. I think Thomas looks great next to Blitzwing / Star Toy Commander. I wouldn't mind a Star Toy Astrotrain but I am fine without, also. I don't feel a need for FT Berserk,, either. I think you've gotten tired of looking at Thomas. I do wish he had ab crunch and hands that moved back and forth.

Wow, it's out already!? I'd hoped they would've held off a bit longer...I was still considering tryna get that KO of the regular version!! (Which I may have to miss entirely, the MP56 Trailbreaker KO just came out) Only things that hit the modern-but-G1-toy feels like that for me are MP Datsuns, MP Hot Rod, MP Soundwave (but barely due to the extra kibble) and his Minions, MP Starsaber, etc. Astrotrain & Blitzwing don't hit those notes in their transformations, but they certainly have nail it in their looks!!

Hi Mike! Toy version of Astrotrain looks incredibly awesome! I ordered the Japanese version but I’m considering picking US version as well. I love the comparison between G1 toy and this version. I really love the shuttle mode. Question, did you notice any difference in the Joints or ratchet, if available?
Gotta say FT Thomas is one of the most disappointing figures I’ve owned, super unfinished transformation that doesn’t fit together right, loose joints after a few months tons of panels that don’t tab in and flop around, wings that move up and down with no secure position. But hey maybe they learned from Thomas and that’s why blitzwing has been delayed, man I hope so. And yeah having Thomas and ST blitzwing, Blitzwing MURDERS that thing in every way, even Thomas being painted ST blitzwing looks way better finish wise. Can’t believe they wanted $200 for that thing. At least the transformation pushing itself apart is fixed seemingly on this repaint
I can't even transform Thomas as I can't get a few pegs to peg in properly so I just transformed him back into robot mode. He's the only one I can't transform. I've even watched Emgo to see what I'm doing wrong and with him struggling on some parts, which are the parts I can't seem to figure out how to peg them into place.
I only recently got the normal version and for me it was a grail. It delivered as being the best Transformer I have ever owned.

The new head was the selling point for me, after having passed on the toon version.
