As someone who detransitioned, seeing people being happy with their transition brings me so much joy because I know the pain that it brings with it, and seeing someone going through that pain and finding happiness in it is just the absolute best.

I’m starting to feel like I’m trans (FTM) but I don’t want to erase me being female since I carry so many memories and I like being female sometimes. so now I’m conflicted on if I should just stay female or become gender neutral in some way. I need some advice 🙌🏽

As a transmasc, its hard to see other transmascs have these experiences and honors. And yet, I'm still disappointed in myself, wishing that this could happen to me. I haven't gotten surgery, haven't been on t, and its very hard to cope with this. But seeing other transmascs and transfems do this stuff and make it to their goals makes me believe that I can too.

not entirely true... Christianity is circled around forgiveness and acceptance no matter what people did in their past. There is lots of living evidence of christianity that you can easily look up. Also, people say transitioning is about being yourself while all along you were born perfectly. And loving yourself means you dont care to change who you are. @@HelloHowAreYou480i don’t understand why people think that this is a trend-what sparked the idea? because more people are coming out? when you recognize something, or when it becomes more acceptable to be a certain way, more people are going to come out/discover that part of themself. because they’re allowed (to an extent) to exist now. similar to how being left handed was un-stigmatized so more left handed people made themselves known. just because it seems like a lot of trans people are just ‘appearing’, we’ve been here the entire time. it’s only when it became more socially acceptable to be transgender that we were allowed to exist and make ourselves known, and post things like this video in the media.
Okay let me explain a little. In the biological sense there are two sexes. Emphasizing the word sex because sex refers to biological. However, gender is more of “gender identity”. Please take this into consideration and respect everyone’s identities. There are a few rare medical instances that counter what I’ve said above, specifically two. One, there is such things as intersex people who have been born with both male and female traits (such as having both genitalia). Two, a person can be born into a body that opposes their chromosomes. Such as having female genitals but having male chromosomes (XY). The mix up of chromosomes can be diagnosed by testing. In the case of a female body having male chromosomes, it can also be identified by the lack of ever getting a period. Keep in mind these are rare genetic conditions.
A) Both instances you mentioned are considered intersex and they are natural variations B) sex is a spectrum and more and more research is proving this C) current understanding of intersex percentage is 2% of the population, however there are a lot of arguments that it is a much higher number. The number one contender is PCOS, which would significantly increase that percentage. It's nice that you are advocating for trans people, but don't talk about intersex like it's a disorder or anomaly. There is clear evidence that sex is a spectrum and that it is naturally occurring.

when you recognize something, or when it becomes more acceptable to be a certain way, more people are going to come out/discover that part of themself. because they’re allowed (to an extent) to exist now. similar to how being left handed was un-stigmatized so more left handed people made themselves known. just because it seems like a lot of trans people are just ‘appearing’, we’ve been here the entire time. it’s only when it became more socially acceptable to be transgender that we were allowed to exist and make ourselves known, and post things like this video in the media.

Okay let me explain a little. In the biological sense there are two sexes. Emphasizing the word sex because sex refers to biological. However, gender is more of “gender identity”. Please take this into consideration and respect everyone’s identities. There are a few rare medical instances that counter what I’ve said above, specifically two. One, there is such things as intersex people who have been born with both male and female traits (such as having both genitalia). Two, a person can be born into a body that opposes their chromosomes. Such as having female genitals but having male chromosomes (XY). The mix up of chromosomes can be diagnosed by testing. In the case of a female body having male chromosomes, it can also be identified by the lack of ever getting a period. Keep in mind these are rare genetic conditions.
A) Both instances you mentioned are considered intersex and they are natural variations
B) sex is a spectrum and more and more research is proving this
C) current understanding of intersex percentage is 2% of the population, however there are a lot of arguments that it is a much higher number. The number one contender is PCOS, which would significantly increase that percentage.
It's nice that you are advocating for trans people, but don't talk about intersex like it's a disorder or anomaly. There is clear evidence that sex is a spectrum and that it is naturally occurring.
