Seems like youre new or maybe youre just casual fishing. Im not bragging or whatever, but once you learn the fg knot, you'll never ever wanted to learn the other way. To learn to tie the fg knot, youll need to take some time, and once you are comfortable with tying the knots, you can even tie it without looking. Try it, my fellow angler brother. You'll love it.

Alberto is 1000x better than having to do this for every leader.
But it's bigger knot, not so good for ring guide if you use for casting, but for jigging, I think it's fine
50% mainline strength with the alberto. FG knot is almost 90%. Check "line laboratories" when they test them.

You forgot to put tension on the lines so the braid bites down on the mono.

Some people do half hitches at the end instead but the risutto finish is the strongest way
