In the beginning near debut, V didn’t sing a lot. He did, but he had a lot of growling parts to. I love it all; however, when he sang that first “Forever” on this track ....i knew. His vocals are undeniable.

They were a lot kpop groups who disbanded in the same year as their debut. Its really scary, isnt it? Zo work for a dream without knowing what your future will be like. I mean, no one knows it. (The song is about being kids/teens being pressured and forced to study, to care so much about grades and being perfect good students and being successful and having safe careers and making money etc. and how that pressure negatively affects kids/teens. BTS are trying to encourage them to stand up and have their own dreams and pursue those dreams and not focus so much on these things and be forced into someone else’s dream.

(Korea used to be made of 8 provinces that all have their own culture and variation of language (called satoori). As the boys come from different places, they use different dialects that are sometimes different from standard Korean.
The point here is that while most of their songs are in standard Korean, there have been times where they used satoori. The biggest case is obviously “팔도강산” (Paldogangsan, meaning “the scenery of all parts of Korea” and titled “Satoori Rap” in English. In this song they are rapping in regional accent/dilect from they belong.They dissed each other and rap that their town from which they belong have this and that.basically they are fighting over who's home town is better lol.listening to this song is so much fun.)

Allen’s comment about having pictures and images on your wall of things that you dream of one day being able to have and taking them down because people start telling you that you will never have any of it is what reminded me about the film The Secret; it is about an hour and a half long and I did still found it on Netflix, if you guys want to check it out whenever you have time. The concept is relatable to what you were saying here, and though there are some overly fantastical elements to the film’s “theory” the main idea is what I’ve chosen to take out of it and try putting it into practice. After all, I really do believe in the strength of the mind and willpower.

There were a lot of stories in this particular song. It is one of the ARMY + BTS favorite songs and moments. This MV has its own beautiful stories but yet sad too. In this era, BTS was hardly 'accepted' into the music industry in Korea. Behind the scene of this MV, they candidly talked or wished they could win with the song. They even contemplating whether they should dream high or not expecting too much! They also mentioned that the only thing they have was HOPE. So, they were just keep hoping and dreaming that good things were installed for them in the future and continue working hard.
What I learned from them from 2014 till today is that, I must keep going even though things get tough. What I think of myself, whether is it right or wrong, both are right! If we think we can get something we dream of and have it one day..not just about materialistic things...anything in life...a happy life etc...we will get there someday. Our mind will drive us and influence our behavior. What we witness now, the biggest superstar boy band in the world was a real testimony of hard work pays off. What amazed you/me is that they are still so humble until today and keep improving themselves.

This song is part of a storyline that goes through some bts videos (bu or bangtan universe). If you are interested the first one is I need you. Also in these videos the footage are not related with the lyrics
The BTS universe is a rabbit hole you gotta be ready for ...lol! You already think you have to be a psych major but the bts universe is a whole different thing
In an earlier reaction you asked "When's the movie". There is a movie, "Burn The Stage", actually more of a documentary, I watched on RUclips. It doesn't cover their history so much but it does go deep into the lives they live while on tour, which isn't always so pretty. It's speaks to their individual strengths and the strength of their bond.

In this Mv, They’re running through a maze made of chain linked fences, showing elements from past video's. Suga’s lighter, Jimin sopping wet, J-Hope’s pills, etc. They also show flashbacks to the other videos. It makes one wonder, does the phrase ‘young forever’ mean that they had all passed and now they will always be young?

Loved the commentary. That's what cool about BTS's music. Everyone relates to it in their own ways and it touches them in their own way. This song came from one day when Suga was talking with their CEO and told him how he wants to remain young forever, aka have that passion burning inside him. The fear that growing up would make them slowly lose that passion he has for music and the drive and energy to pursue it.
this is my favorite BTS song alongside spring day. always makes me feel all sort of emotional. it's that one song that if i would hear many years later, will still give me the same chills i had for the first time. it's the perfect nostalgic song that would make me remember my younger years.

The thing is that I’ve never felt scared of getting older until I became a BTS fan. Maybe because I’ve something I love now and I know at some point in the future this beautiful thing we have will end I can’t help but wanting to stay like this forever.

You should check out BTS' live performance at the 2019 Melon Music Awards. Its probably the best live music award show performance ever to happen. Its long but 100% worth it.
