I think they use 'K' instead of 'G' to avoid misunderstanding with YG ent.

there's not actually a 100% proper romanization of hangul characters it all depends on pronunciation and ㄱ is right between k and g and i think its them who decide what the romanization would spell like, same as jungkook/jeongguk

My 100th time watching the highlight reel (lol) and I love it every time!
Not going to lie, cried the first time, the scene where JK met the girl in the hospital made me cry bc for some reason it reminded me of a scene from The Notebook.
I always felt that the girls were symbols or representations of this happy life that each of the members maybe want to attain? But they then realise that there's no running away from the "darkness" in their lives (they all had their issues in the storyline). Hasn't this been BTS's message all along? You have to accept yourself, including all your flaws.
That's why everything started going wrong in the video. And at the end Jin realises no matter how many times he tries to go back to the past to "fix things" it comes at a cost.
In a previous video I shouted TIME TRAVEL.

I'll hold my laughter for a while. I'm not gonna spoil anything, let your imagination grow (bcs that's actually the thing BTS & bighit want us to do. Interprete on our own). I'm just gonna share that I'm actually waiting for years hoping to understand more about the ending of highlight reel, but it turned out last year we (finally) got Save Me webtoon special for BU content. Again, I hope I can find the answers for all of these. Guess what? maybe my hope just too high, bcs I'm waiting every single week for that webtoon to update just for get betrayed again lmao
Bighit just TOO GENIUS. They're literally give us a lot of BU content (and clue) on every different platforms. Such as MV, book, webtoon, notes (this is only you can get when you buy BTS physical album from BTS Love Yourself series & MOTS series for now). Good luck for your journey dude. I know it's exhausting mentally & your brain must be freeze, but in the end when all of these are being revealed one by one you're gonna be proud of yourself for solving these. Feel a bit smarter at least for me 🤣

I love these young men to pieces as well as you guys, but this story line stuff with the Jungian/Damien, etc themes it's a lot. Someday I may read those based upon books but *Not Today* I just want to enjoy them and their music for now and not play detective, LOL. I applaud you two (Alex & Allen) for going for it! Kudos!
I love this video, it's full of many small details that tell the bigger story. It's important to keep details of other videos in mind. There are so many twists involved and in whole it isn't linear so it's hard to keep track ok. Today while watching your reaction I noticed a detail I had missed before, it's an endless saga.
also technically after this there is Euphoria then Fake love and then Epiphany!
fun fact which is a big part of the storyline is the flower, its called the Smeraldo flower which doesn't exist in real life you need to check out the song The Truth Untold by bts as they literally narrate the whole folk tale which brought this flower in the song. the meaning of the flower in like the floral language is Sincerity which could not be reached/ the truth untold thus the song but i have to say the craziest part about this is that bts love making this story realistic SO THERE IS LITERALLY A SHOP the blog popped out in 2017 when highlight reels came and the flower truck in HR is literally the same one from the blog BUT this shop disappeared and soon we got Love yourself : Her album next the shop appeared again in 2018 and legit the blog acted like the shop never existed it was saying the same things once again (you know jin can turn back time so we're stuck in a repeating timeline) and this time the shop disappeared we got Love yourself: Answer album AND WAIT THE SHOP IS BACK AGAIN 2020 IT LITERALLY AGAIN IS ACTING LIKE IT NEVER EXISTED BUT SO WE ARE EXPECTING A AUGUST COMEBACK THIS TIME
the high light reel and fake love extended version is connected where all 7 exchange their things with the devil at the counter. the girls represent the each member to each other. if you read the save me webtoon you could be able to grasp the idea.

Jin is a time traveller from the future. As they grow up, he and the other members go on seperate ways. Past frward in the future, Jin learned the bad things that had happened to the members lives. He goes on a mission of going back to the past and tries to change the bad things from happening to the other members. He tries to save them from their death (jungkook, suga), from going to prison (V, RM) and save them from loneliness (Jimin, jhope). Jin realizes their lives are different back when they are all together. They were happier when they are all together but their lives became tragedy when they fell apart. In conclusions this shows how important their friendships meant to them and how much different the world is when you have someone you can lean on.

There are also these little books called notes that come from albums that have dates and more info about the story line but you will find that out when you watch the story line summary. Please watch the summary after you have watched everything, it will make more sense.

Okay so basically, some explanations- is from my POV so I’m sorry if some of this is wrong.
So, as you noticed- Part of the highlight reel matches with other BTS music videos such as ‘I NEED U’ or ‘Fake Love’ etc. Now, if you look really close and pay attention, during that Intense seen, V is with that girl who is vandalizing that Bus stop, if you look closely, there is a message that says ‘I’m fine’ which is a BTS song- But if you flip it upside down or backwards somehow, you will get the words ‘Save Me’ which is also a BTS song, now if we go back to ‘Fake Love’- close to the end of the music video, you will see V in a room of lights and then you will see the words ‘Save Me’ behind him in graffiti writing, non the less- In the bangtan Universe, J-Hope was abandoned by his mom as she said ‘Close your eyes and count to 10’ but you can see she never returned. But when it zooms closer to baby J-hope, you can see a candy bar next to him which is a Snickers- if we go back to ‘Fake Love’ you can see the seen where J-hope is laying in a bunch of Snickers which resembles what happened to him.
I’m not going to try and spoil but basically Jin is the main character and he has the ability to reverse time, but as you can see in ‘I NEED U’ every member is going through a hardship, which can lead to things such as: Depression, Self-harm and others, so because Jin can basically reverse time, he tries to stop each member from doing bad things. But I’m not going to say anything else but I suggest you guys read the ‘SAVE ME’ WebToon to see what happens in the story.
Now we move on to the girls, the girls aren’t really there, it’s apart of them and some of them resemble other members somehow- It also explains it in the WebToon.

Please read the webtoon Save ME. It explains the storyline, but it leaves you with a lot of questions. I hope the next part comes out.
Go to XCeleste and watch her explanation. All the reels, songs, videos are tied in. Nothing is random. Every video has obvious, but sometimes very subtle tidbits. I have been watching BTS (a lot) since Oct. 2018 and I still haven't seen everything.
Guys, try reading Webtoon tittle Save Me. Maybe after that you guys will have an idea what this is all about.
Actually it has a webtoon stories, there you can understand more the story, but for me its about jin's what ifs.. "What if he did this or did that in that particular moment, will it change everything now? Will he save his friends from what about to happen to them? What if you are given a time to go back would you change your past for the future you want or will you let it the way it should be and move on? What will you do?? Would you save your friends or would you no? " as the webtoon series title goes "SAVE ME" will jin save them?? 😘
August 30th is an important day. The day that he came back to change everything. Just a theory though
