you can see that batman hesitated before he jumped of the top of the building shows us he is still in his early stages as batman
Can’t wait for a fight w Clayface/Kroc/mr.freeze/scarecrow or like bane to see him really adapt. Gonna be the best and last Batman series fr
Yo can see when batman when is when he jumped out when yeah he did what
Yup Year 2 🔥
You stupid head it's just showing, that everytime you jump off a building, you don't get a safe landing
@@pluggem924 - Say again??
The fact that he hesitated before jumping and that he completely crashed the landing. Gotta love some realism! Matt Reeves should make more superhero movies
indeed, a 2 year batman is different from what Ben Affleck's veteran batman is. with his gliding mistake, that's where he'd get the idea to upgrade his cape to make it a more controllable glider/chute
@@chini2W0and turn it into a bat
0:17 I like how this moment is shown from Bruce's perspective
So we can feel what is like to escape from an angry mob
Even when you rely on your best gear, moments like this are truly terrifying
He probably reinforced the armor around his crotch when he got to the bat cave.
@@planetxtk7567 wtf
I mean... that's the opposite of his perspective, but yeah
i love the fact that everything in this scene happened after he took a point blank explosion to his face (while protecting it of course), got a concussion and was passed out for significant amount of time... and despite that he woke up swinging at cops.
The cinematography is a visual masterpiece.
Brother Malcolm - People keep saying this but I'm not seeing it myself.
Yeah but I don't like how blurry it is at times
Masterpiece
Calm down mate - visual masterpiece is a bit of a stretch unless you're just getting into movies now
@@SC-mm9wr ROGER DEAKINS..ROGER DEAKINS ( MODERN DAY GOAT OF CINEMATOGRAPHY) has called it a visual masterpiece. So. 👉🚪
it humanizes him so perfectly, he isn't superman, he is still a human making the impossible possible and it's natural a human struggles with it, even Bruce
it's just realistic that he hesitated when he has never done it in such a dire situation, I mean put yourself in his shoes, he probably has trained with it in safe and perfect environments, not while a horde of cops are chasing after him and one slight mistake could cost him his life
it's a masterpiece, this movie

*"AAAAGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!"*
Right 🤣🤣
I really like how he is not perfect yet, he makes mistakes, he is bumpy and he isn't even the smarter one in the room. But eventually, he will get there.
I unconditionally love this scene. Watching Batman be chased by every cop in Gotham, taking his chance by leaping off a building, then smacking himself into the pavement by accident. It’s just such a good representation of early Batman. A Batman who is still unsure but determined for justice

yo he wears an armored suit after that bridge smash
Squirrelman.
The ghosts: why did the cops shoot at him?
I always felt that the impact should have taken his head clean off, but hey, superhero movie.
I love that they showed us how vulnerable Batman is. His reaction to that vulnerability, that pain, is something we rarely see in superheroes...
The soundtrack when batman is gliding gives me chills

I love how you get the feeling that the entire POLICE FORCE is after him!!! Even shows how corrupt some of the Officers are when they open fire on Batman.
He was a criminal in the eyes of the police so they were more than willing to fire
His cartoon run is my favorite thing here 😂 like, this is how people actually run away from cops
It's hilarious how all the police are roaring and yelling while chasing him.
0:45 that scream reminds me of tobey maguire in the train scene in Spider-Man
The escape bat wing suit was especially breathtaking.
Even the grappling hook part was cool
I really hope that we get a meaningful time skip for the sequel. Maybe 3-4 years. I loved seeing an inexperienced Batman in live action, but in a sequel I would definitely want to see him with his skills even more honed. In the sequel I’d honestly love it if the goons couldn’t touch him anymore, like a no-hit run of the Arkham games series.
That's pretty much what Nolan did in Batman Begins and the Dark Knight.
Batman gets overwhelmed with handling Scarecrow during the first encounter.
Next movie's he's handling him like a regular ghoul in Gotham.
Oh trust me Batman will be better.

One of the most iconic duos. Batman & the commissioner, and one to watch. Goodcop, and batcop. Such an amazing soundtrack, a perfect, realistic, modern storyline that fits in with today and isn't overreached, or unrealistic, great cast with amazing potrayls of there characters that had no flaw, great effects, and emotion. Like you would always be on edge, and on your seat thinking as well as wondering what was going to happen next. You were literally focused on the movie at all times, esepcially with the amazing detail of the storyline that they nailed, and the attention in detail. Its literally a masterpiece and such an unforgettable movie, theres honestly no flaw with it and is one of my most favorite movies that I've ever watched on Christmas with my twin brother who never fails with his picks. Truly worth it, as well as a must watch if you wish to understand it or to see for yourself. Honestly can't wait for its sequel, trilogy if there's going to be one, and the future of this Batman. It's the best version of Batman as well as the most realistic Batman yet. One that isn't over the top, overreached and is just like the rest of us - having emotion, a past etc. - 12.26.2022
The music in this film really helps set it apart from all the others. Reminds me of the original Tim Burton films in a way, because they utilized the sound and score to great effect. Not that Nolan's trilogy had bad music, after all Hans Zimmer did it, but I just feel like the theme song to this film, which the sting of starts up when Batman jumps off the roof, just fits so well.
1:12 it's like Arkham Knight soundtrack
I love the fact this scene shows how human Batman is, just better gear 🤯

This scene does a great job showing how corrupt the police are. They chased and roared at batman like animals ready to take down their prey
Lore accurate GCPD.
One moment they’re spraying bullets the next they’re cool with Batman.
I love how he grits his teeth while escaping with the batclaw. This is why Batman is the greatest superhero. Stormed at by shot and shell, boldly he rode and well.
If you pause at 1:04 you might be able to see the bat cape suit that they initially planned to keep as per the original concept artwork.
Shut up
You're really reaching there
I love the music ode to Batman Returns just before he jumps. That was a nice touch.
I can't help but be reminded of Buster Keaton's "Cops" whenever I see all those cops chasing him and roaring 🤣!!
Not that this alone wasn't awesome, but I look forward to how the wing suit will be perfected in future movies.

This scene is incredibly immersive
However, the fact that he was able to get up by himself and simply walk it off after crash landing does breaks the suspension of disbelief
Clearly never been in or seen a bike crash. Adrenaline rush would take over and you wouldn't feel much for a while after something like that
@@sambrooks4413 the fact that the fact that the fact that
@@sambrooks4413 Trueee, seen a lot of videos with bike accidents with them just walking it off
For a guy who spends a lot of times perched on buildings, every Batman movie seems to have at least one falling scene that's totally unrealistic. Like in Nolan's The Dark Knight where Batman and Rachel fall out of Wayne's penthouse apartment, use his cape to get a little bit of wind resistance and then land on a car crushing the roof yet they're completely fine. Or the Burton movies where Batman's magical grappling gun was able to instantly stop his fall without ripping his arm off.
@@sambrooks4413 - And what happens when the the adrenaline wears off? You end up on your back in severe pain and hardly able to move. Yet here Bats is, walking around the next day as if bugger all had happened. It was a truly stupid scene.
1:07 that same breathe is heared in the next video in the chase against the penguin
Every Police officer had stormtrooper aim
Gordon has an iron jaw bro. Respect
I like how Gordon has Batman's back in this even though the rest of the GCPD don't trust him. He's willing to take a punch from him to allow him to escape, and potentially maybe earn some heat off his superiors or fellow officers. It shows why they become friends as well as colleagues fighting the same war.
That Batman glider suit was epic.
All this seriousness and he’s afraid of heights.
They did a serious difference in element here.
This is why the movie is awesome
0:46 The Dark Knight Returns
Any other version of Batman would have used his cape as a glider and done so effortlessly and without hesitation - that’s what I like about this Batman.
He’s still new to it and hasn’t figured out how to do things like that yet.
Batman takes "Okay, walk it off" to an all new level, even when he fails he wins
I Can’t say enough good things about this Movie. Absolute MASTERPIECE! 🤩👏🏻
This was my favorite scene in he movie
I thought the movie wasn’t all that great but this scene was so cool
Robert pattinson ❤♥😍
Imagine seeing this from the perspective of someone riding the bus 😄

This might be My favourite Batman since Batman returns.
Hes not the cape crusader yet, but you can see the beginning of the legend from here
Awesome
Thank you for that Scene. Now i know what to do next time i'm getting arrested
Just epic
That’s how to do a soft landing guys
My favorite scene
Batman should be gliding with his cape
One of the only times we've seen how he escapes!
I find it quite interesting that he uses a wingsuit instead of a regular cape to glide.
What made me like this movie the most is the fact that Batman is still young and not experienced enough, even his gear is not so reliable. So he gets hit and shot multiple times, building that force of nature we know Batman is actually.
Amazing movie
Him hesitating isn't fear, he was battling that surge in adrenaline.
I just love how this sequence was based off Lasalle St in downtown Chicago, the same location where the Joker got his truck flipped by Batman. Maybe it was a way to reference/pay an homage to TDK. Great films for sure!
AWWW MY BAT-BAAACKKK
Robert Pattinson shows Young whippersnapper Batman and it's perfect
You could see the influences of German Expressionism in this scene. It's even more evident in the Burton Batman films.
Great
Best. Batman. Ever.
Superhero crash-landing is something new
Hell yeah
I enjoy Watching batman
Yeah to saw it in theaters
Pretty interesting seeing his cape concert into a wing suit
Ive watched this scene so many times and every other viewing i see someone wearing an owl mask as batman is grapplung upwards to the roof
Simple “HAH! huhhh, hhh…”
That was awesome, and it’s cool seeing an inexperienced batman as opposed to the cool, kickass one… but let’s be real here, he’s got a concussion and probably knocked out after that landing
*"I am falling wiiiith style. Watch out for the bus-"*
I love how realistic this movie feels. Not just in the story but also how it feels like it could actually happen. Especially with that flying suit of his.
walking through bullets, surviving a bomb to the face, being able to get up after that nasty crash landing. yeah all those are very realistic and achievable in real life.
@@sathvik6982there's a difference between realistic and grounded
I love thinking that in the second film he’ll do this again (maybe an upgraded version) and do even better but be foiled by the villain instead of crashing, but in the third one he’ll have a perfect run. I look forward to seeing the evolution of his skills as Batman, because we haven’t really got that in the movies, by the time Bale was Batman he was already completely trained up as was Keaton, Kilmer, Clooney and Affleck.
Thats because in the source material
by the time Bruce put on the suit, he was already fully trained and had all his methods down against regular criminals and police. With experience he learned to deal with superhumans but he didn't take on crime half trained.
Gee, so much for him being a hero. Way to blow it again, WB/DC.
The Batman is the best movie of 2022
This is year 2 batman.
For a brick, he flew pretty good
