First time seeing you, but I couldn't miss this song. Harold Melvins' son Harold Jr. was my neighbor for a while. We always shared greetings and a smile as I pet his dog. One day, he heard his dad's voice coming out of my car window. And that's how I found out his dad was a legend from my youth. If I hadn't listened to that song at that time, I likely would never have known that fact. Didn't change our casual relationship, but our greetings now included names.
It called soul music 🎼 lyrics goes right to soul of person. Yes it Philly Sounds. Good reaction young women don’t try figure it out. It does what it do
Among the greatest records ever made by anyone, ever. True masterpiece in every way - performance by all involved, lyrics and music, arrangement, production and engineering. But it has to be the full album version. The edited version doesn't get it done. Originally they were attempting to record this at a slower tempo, and it just was not working. Finally it was decided to see how it would sound uptempo. Earl Young came up with his drum groove which included the four on the floor pattern, and it came to life. Earl, who played on countless songs from Phildelphia that are one better than another, is still going strong at 84 years old (as of this writing). He is active on Facebook and is a great man.
Hello my dears. This is was and music song with passion. Family gatherings in the summer time. The kids laughing playing in the background, Big Mike on the grill, the card game going on and tell Uncle Ro Ro to come out the bathroom with that girl.😎
A time when songs spoke to your heart ❤️ and you can relate to its means do to you experience what they were singing.

I'll always love my mama was the Intruders, not the Blue Notes. This song was early disco when the craze was only happening in the NYC, Philly area.
My I recommend Tom Jones, the video is " I'll Never Fall in Love Again"!
Girls, please dont pause and talk so much😢😢😢
REACT TO THIS HIT BY HAROLD MELVIN AND THE BLUE NOTES (WAKE UP EVERYBODY)

Thats Version You Should've Played Ladies Lol 😂😂
