Yes, the nice twist of hearing Nancy's lead vocals mingled with Ann's backing ones makes this one memorable, as well as that chorus, as mentioned. One of the best parts of the reaction, though, was re-hearing the Time-Life "Ultimate Love Songs" commercial. 😂
My sister and I have loved these ladies since they started their career. Every song, every word! We were able to see them twice in concert and not without getting extremely emotional at times. Those standing around us during the concerts were so envious that we knew and could sing every song. Their songs have taken both of us from our teens to today. When we get together we still praise these ladies! ❤
Do you guys realize Nancy had a cameo in the movie, “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”? She played the babe in the car across from Judge Reinhold when he was in the pirate outfit. She later married Cameron Crowe, who wrote the screenplay.
Another great "Dreams" song is Street of Dreams by Rainbow. Joe Lynn Turner nails the vocals on this and on Stone Cold. Two really good tunes you guys should check out!
Love Heart, never disappoints! Have you ever reacted to an epic song from the 60's "Eloise" by Barry Ryan? This song is a must you will truly enjoy it, it was a classic, can't understand why no-one has reacted to this great tune. I always enjoy listening to it, I play it all the time. It was a power tune back then, very unforgettable!
Hi guys! Great pick! They sure could belt out a ballad, but I agree with @BrentCox... Straight On rocks and is total🔥! Thanks guys... Great reactions to These Dreams! Peace out. Christian K, NYS.
HEART - ** Heartless ** / ** Sing Child ** / ** Even It Up ** 70's Classic Rock Jams 🔥🎸 Triple the FIRE!!! HITS 📻 HEARTLESS Came out in 1975 and sounds like the Future of Barracuda in 1977 and Sing Child (Sing) from 1976 is a Mix of Hard Rock & Funk Grooves including the song Even It Up Wich is Amazing 🤘 all three are JAMMIN' highly recommend all 👌 Another Female Rocker is JUICE NEWTON - ** Dirty Looks ** its ROCKIN' and AMAZING from Her Vocals to The Hard Rock 80's Classic Sound I was WOW! When I first listened 🎧 she has many hit songs but this one has so much ROCK ENERGY it's a Must Hear guaranteed you'll both dig this JAM it's SMOKIN' HOT
I love Heart. Both sisters were gifted with great voices but Ann’s voice can just stop you in your tracks. This isn’t one of my favorites but it’s nice to hear Nancy’s sing again. Even though I’m a huge Zeppelin fan, I have never liked Stairway to Heaven. Actually, I kind of dislike it. But Ann’s rendition is mind blowing. I love the song the way she sings it.
SYMPHONIC METAL BAND is NIGHTWISH - " NEMO (Official Music Video) " they are a FINNISH SYMPHONIC HEAVY METAL BAND with Original Female Vocalist Tarja Turunen has an Incredible Voice, and they began back in 1996 this song came out in 2004 and its HEAVY METAL SYMPHONY At it very Best after that Piano Intro Comes the Insane Heavy Rockin' and Thundering sound known to this Amazing band from Finland 🎸🎹
I like variety in band's song styles. Check out "Dog And Butterfly" - a softer side of 70's Heart but performed in 2002: ruclips.net/video/UxifjRjSkwo/видео.html Here's another, "Love Alive" performed in 1995's "The Road Home" acoustic concert: ruclips.net/video/Ruv0JPG9mGY/видео.html
When the Wall by Pink Floyd came out, for about 3 months that was ONLY record my ex-husband would play and after that I could not listen to anything off of that album for YEARS
I think adding slightly heavier guitar, like during chorus would make the song better. It's a'ight...Not my thing but I wouldn't mind hearing it on the radio, during car rides and stuff.
I'll admit I am an early Heart lover. This song was one of the best on their newer sounds....but...and dont hate me....but it almost feels like the band kinda went sell-out into what the studios wanted. Their older things were way more interestingly musically, vocally, lyrically. It not that bands can progress in times and change and not sound good (take the Stones for instance)... but sometimes bands can get lost in the commercialism.
I don't know what idiot called this a "power ballad," but it is most definitely and decidedly NOT a power ballad. It's a synth ballad, plain and simple. It was also a way for the record company and Heart's management to exploit them for Nancy's sex appeal image. This was very prevalent in the videos for the _Heart_ and _Bad Animals_ albums. It was very sexist, but it worked. Of course, all the Heart members were VERY talented, and just their songs alone are enough to sell the band as far as I'm concerned. 80s Heart was very different from 70s Heart, in that 70s Heart were primarily inspired by Led Zeppelin. 80s Heart was inspired by 80s Hard Rock and also New Wave, with even a little bit of Funk thrown in for good measure. Both eras of the band were great. 70s Heart you guys still need to do: "Barracuda," "Love Alive," "Kick It Out," "Heartless," "Dog & Butterfly" and "Mistral Wind." 80s Heart songs you guys need to do: "Tell It Like It Is," "Bebe Le Strange" (live version), "How Can I Refuse," "What About Love," "If Looks Could Kill," "Never," "Nothing At All," "Alone" and "Who Will You Run To." Get to it, guys!!
I still remember that love songs cd commercial and this song in it
This is when the 2 sisters got restyled to the 80’s.
Yes it is beautiful
“Straight On” is my favorite song from this awesome band!!🤘🔥
And they reacted to your favorite song on 9/16/22. Check it out. 😎✌🏽
A great example of where their voices become one is the song "Straight On". Amazing harmonies.
My favorite Heart song...timeless 80s forever!!!!
Guarantee Nancy Wilson looks back on this and laughs at her hair. We all had "big hair" in the mid 80s :)
Of course you've heard this! If you've ever waited in line at a bank or been in a department store with an elevator....it was everywhere.
Nancy has a great voice. I'm so glad she got center stage on this one.
My sister and I have loved these ladies since they started their career. Every song, every word! We were able to see them twice in concert and not without getting extremely emotional at times. Tuff enuf by the Fabulous Thunderbirds!
When you pulled up that commercial, I DIED
"Alone" was a huge hit!
3 weeks at number 1 .
True, but Heart's version is a cover. i-TEN put it out first.
I worked with a guy that got married and the bride's sister sang this song at one point. A horrible moment to say the least.
Do you guys realize Nancy had a cameo in the movie, “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”? She played the babe in the car across from Judge Reinhold when he was in the pirate outfit. She later married Cameron Crowe, who wrote the screenplay.
Love this song, I also love 'There's The Girl', Bad Animals is a fabulous album 🖤
Notice how they go back and forth with the vocals. One of the most powerful musical instruments is the natural harmony of siblings.
Guys
When are we gonna get some more little river band??👍👍
My favorite Heart song! It’s magical! ✌️💖
What About Love and Never were the first two singles in the 80’s for them well before this song.
Classic 80's.
Another great "Dreams" song is Street of Dreams by Rainbow. Joe Lynn Turner nails the vocals on this and on Stone Cold. Two really good tunes you guys should check out!
This is my fave Heart song. Check out the live in Seattle version from 7 years ago. They sound incredible
Spot on review….the chorus melody is what carries it. Showed versatility of the band
Three more awesome Heart hit songs are: 1) There's The Girl 2) Stranded 3) I Want You So Bad (Great ballad!).
But wait! There's more!
this is obviously a classic, but im partial to "There's The Girl" with Nancy singing. I did a house/breakbeat remix to it, so im biased..lol.
4:15 (album version)
3:46 (single and video version) the band's first single on which Nancy Wilson performed lead vocals instead of Ann Wilson

This was a hit for them. The line where she says "Perfume on my wrist..." is deeply embedded in my memory. What a deserved resurgence they had!
The hair omg 😅
Do the "Alone" video. You can check out Nancy's flexibility while guitar playing and Ann's great vocals.
@@richardingles2011 as well as Nancy playing piano!
Hi guys! Great pick! They sure could belt out a ballad, but I agree with @BrentCox... Straight On rocks and is total🔥! Thanks guys... Great reactions to These Dreams! Peace out. Christian K, NYS.
do next this super banger hit "Alone", coz it was a huge hit!
Great review. You have to do "I'd Love to Change the World" by Ten Years After You will LOVE IT!!

what about love, Never, Alone are great Heart 80’s hits
Check out their song “Even it up”! It’s a rocker

The live version years later ( Seattle ) is even better imo does away with the video nonsense
Ahhh the 80s big hair and big shoulder pads and liberal use of sweeping synthesizer

During the Big Hair era. Ann even talks about that on a video on YT
I prefer ‘70s Heart…but they’re still very good. Just too ‘80s for me.
react to (barrabas lady love) you will love it
My least favorite Heart song, even when it was big! "Alone" was a great 80's Heart song❤
Good job we all have different tastes , i really like this tho i prefer the Seattle live version many years later
Live in Seattle is a better version of this song.
I don't know what idiot called this a "power ballad," but it is most definitely and decidedly NOT a power ballad. It's a synth ballad, plain and simple.
