So the part you said about not having to pay for those when living in an apartment is partially incorrect, because that depends on the city you live in. When I lived in my old condo in San Jose, those were covered like you mentioned, but now that I moved to SF, I get charged for all utilities, despite living in a modern building.
WOW!! $15,000 for an annual gym membership is crazy!!!😳 I’ve never heard of apt rentals charging for trash and sewer, interesting. California is a very expensive State to live in.
For a family of 4, with two middle school children, I calculated that we need over 10K to just have the same lifestyle that we are used to in Ukraine. But if we want to save some $$ (for trips, luxuries, retirement etc etc), then we would need to earn about 20K per month for a family of 4-5. I mean, yes, you can manage on far less than that, but I don't want to sacrifice my comfort :) And even though it's achievable? I'm not sure that we need to move at our age (we're getting close to 35 now, with the energy levels sinking accordingly). Any advice? :)

It was already mentioned in the video that child delivery alone can cost around 10,000 dollars extra (on top of the monthly payment). How do you take that into account? Also, dental care? In reality, the costs are waaay more than shown here.

Is 2021 and you still go to grocerys store nie US? Wow In EU i am orderom grocery shopping for at least 3 year and never bęben in grocery shop. We have fast glovo (like uber) deliveries smalec shops, and bigger deliveries like auchen carrefour. Its amazing not having to carry your shoppings and wasting time in grocery
