Great vids! I’m learning samba in a class (as well as playing lots of other percussion) but I always get lots from your teaching. Would love some maracatu from you as well.
@MARASALVATRUCHA199 I use a kind of plastic stick. The end of the stick is a little bit thicker. That makes it easier to play the carreteiro.

Hi Joy, I am happy to see that you like my video's! I don't know which instruments you mean, but I think it is about the surdo's. Those are the Brazilian bass drums and they are tuned different and play on a different beat. Have fun!!
what are you beating the tambourim with it doesnt look like a normal sick and my computer doesnt support resolution more than 240p

You are right. This was one of my earlier videos where I still had problems with recording my voice. Perhaps I have to do this lesson again with notation and a better voice sound.
