There was a play where big Nate Thurmond went up for a layup and Wilt blocked the shot and the ball went to Tom Meschery at the foul line. Meschery shot a jump shot from there and Wilt blocked that too. The ball went to a 76er who started out on a fast break. Coming down from the right side was Wilt who got the ball and did a windmill slam dunk. The crowd went nuts!

I’m sorry but Wilt Chamberlain was not that good if you compare him to todays standards. You can clearly see by the footage that he couldn’t dribble, couldn’t shoot jumpers, couldn’t shoot free throws (career 50%), had very limited and rudimentary offensive moves. He benefited because of his size and the rules of the game allowed what we call today goaltending and playing against firemen and plumbers.
