Superstore follows a group of employees working at Cloud 9, a fictional big-box store in St. Louis, Missouri. The ensemble and supporting cast features America Ferrera as Amy Dubanowski, Ben Feldman as Jonah Simms, Lauren Ash as Dina Fox, Colton Dunn as Garrett McNeil, Nico Santos as Mateo Fernando Aquino Liwanag, Nichole Bloom as Cheyenne Tyler Lee and Mark McKinney as Glenn Sturgis. The series uses comedy to tackle big topics in American culture, including immigration and workers' rights.

superstore is so underrated and this is one of the best and most realistic sitcom couples that i have ever seen

Amy and Jonah's chemistry is second to none. Ben and America are magic together. Truly a great relationship, I'm glad I found this show, it changed my life.
It has been said about all TV couples. There is no "magic" or some special chemistry - there is just good acting and understanding of their characters.

@@bafbaas1210 true jonah fears that people might get the wrong of him of what he says. Jonah also doesn't make that much jokes and is always serious. Jake on the other hand literally says whatever he wants lol and makes a ton of jokes

I love this show so much, it did such a good job of showing work family and ‘work spouse romance’ in such a realistically awkward light. I keep rewatching because it just has such a reminiscent bittersweet energy to it. 💞

"Allah" is just "God" in Arabic. Arabic Christians also use the word Allah. Show's making generalised assumptions. :)

Also I know that Allah means God in Arabic. I was born and bought up in Kuwait. But still if you say Allah, evsn though you are an Arab christian, people will think that you are a Muslim.

@@lenadahling well technically Glenn meant the Islamic "Allah" when he used the word, it becomes clear from context especially afterwards when he talks to the employees when the get back after the store reopens. So no the original commenter was not making "generalised assumptions" but they knew the context.
@@jonash3406 The writers used the word as if the Arabic word for God is only used in Islam. The commentor made, or referred to, the same assumption. Regardless of who's ignorant, it is still ignorant to assume that Islam owns the word. Nice to know the show counted on audiences sharing the same assumption. It is important to combat ignorance.

Usually in sitcoms I don't really get involved into the romantic couple because I don't feel an incredible chemistry that burns the screen of your tv but with them was different, I felt respect and deep understanding and this helped me to search for this kind of relationships
such an engaging "will they won't they" it made me see the show to the absolute end, when when I thought it was ridiculous
I wish there were more romantic scenes after season 3, when they were actually together!

Fr. Season 1, 2 and 3 were top notch for our ship. Too bad America ended her contract during season 6 that we didnt get enough of amy and jonah. Its been years, I wish we could get sequels or something.
they really robbed us of more grown-up simmosa content. i wish the show had gone for 5 more episodes and they had to learn about the new jonah and amy. it feels so forced that they kissed and then five minutes later the show ended. but still, i love them so much
I would kill for a simmosa movie or tv series.

Hands down the most realistic and relatable couple ever. I love Peraltiago but Simmosa is so sweet and fun and awkward and actually a very realistic portrayal of so many couples. They are just SO SOFT ❤️❤️💕💕😍😍😍🥺🥺🥺

This is a terrific portrayal of a couple. We love them and happy that the producers ended it with them getting married.

She returns being jealous, curious about the breakup, and expects Jonah would forgive her (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!).
This reminds me of Chris and street from swat except they took 5 years.

If people like Jonah, try watching the first few seasons of Drop Dead Diva. He’s awesome in that!

couple of the century? As far as sitcoms go Pam and Jim put them to shame you could actually feel the way they felt just watching the office. I do love Superstore though it is a great show but come on it was obviously a copy of the template on which the office was successful.... I mean can Dina be any more of a female Dwight??

Yeah. But that was her past garbage that kept interfering. At the end, she realized she made a mistake and it was her time to fight for a relationship. Love be that way sometimes. Jonah loved her with all her imperfections

She goes through prob one of the worst times of her life and makes some stupid mistakes, but that doesn't mean she doesn't actually wanna be with Jonah, and Jonah still just treats her like a human who just made some mistakes like he should

It's pretty much the same reason why Karen and Jim didn't work out in the office. Karen just wasn't Pam and Kelly just wasn't Amy.
Jonah and Kelly felt one-sided imo. It felt like he just got with Kelly to get over Amy but Kelly genuinely liked him.
